All the hotel rooms are on Second and Third floor of the hotel side. I've stayed the 2 x in a standard room with breakfast and it's decent for the price. Hot water, TV, In room safe pretty much everything standard amenities wise. Come is book smoking and. On smoking rooms as they advertise but I'm sure all of them are smoking allowed.

Business Standard rooms are bit larger in size compared to a standard and comes with a couch. Price wise. Almost 2 x the price of the standard room unless you have good negotiation skills and get lucky. I think they only have 4 of this type room.

VIP rooms are the largest type of room and much more space. Living room area is 2 steps higher than bedroom area. Even though it's the same room. Comes with larger sofa and I believe one room has balcony. Price wise higher than business standard type room. I believe I was quoted. 875 mill but can't recall my memory well as that was 2 years ago.

Best thing I like about staying in Classic hotel is, you are steps away from the entertainment complex and can order in room massage from the hotel reception for 100 thousand IDR and hour which was decent. You Can always negotiate extra.

How much is the VIP rooms at Classic?

And is it for the classic place on second floor or the top floor?

I found they both had same type rooms.

No such thing call bar fine and don't even acknowledge if they try to say something like that. Pretend that, that's the stupidest thing you have ever heard and made it sound like funny.

You would have to try that by late night 1 pm to 2 pm and talk to Mama. My suggestion, take the girl for a round first and see how things goes between 2 of you. Also, ask the girl for her number and tell her you would like to take her to your hotel room. If she buzzes on your offer, she will do the talking and convincing with Mama. Alternatively, you can negotiate with mama as well. I had good luck dealing with mama once as she knew me from previous visit and girl was ready as well.

Second opinion would be, arrange a meet with the girl later on in your room but don't pay her anything more than 1 mill for couple of shot. Chances are she will visit you before starting her shift in the evening. Fresh catch of the day.

Not saying each and every one of them is a scamming cry wolf but 90% are. I use Grab and never had any issues. Friend of mine who lives in Bandung now, used to live In Jakarta and drive Grab in Jakarta before, told me all the stories he heard from Taxi drivers of scamming people, specially expats / tourist.

Apparently it's their snack time entertainment stories, so don't let them take advantage of your good will.

I've only had 2 taxi drivers do that, but like you, my heart did not flinch and I gave them nothing. I have given many girls "extra" money over the years though. Your girl's story has quite a good chance of being correct. OS often asks the girls as to the circumstances of why they are there and the story your girl told you is very common. They are given loans for family emergencies, medical care, to build a house for parents, brothers schooling etc etc and then they are brought to Jakarta and offered around Classic, the Kota Indah bars, Medika and the bars where the locals go by brokers. They go under the care of minders who get them to and from work which are the guys you see on motorbikes taking the girls away at closing time back to the mess. The minders are generally OK and treat the girls well. They are not permitted to have relationships with the girls but they are also representing the debt holders interests so collect salaries etc. Your tip money is what she will use for day to day food and living.

For Classic get mamasan to put you in a VIP room as part of the agreement to go to a room. I've posted photos of the VIP rooms before. Very large. Very nice.
