Great reports TroyBoy. I like your adventurous can-do spirit willing to check out different establishments of varying quality, staying focused on what you want, and having a great time. Taking a girl out of Hotel Travel is one example of what I am talking about. Having a look see in Berlin, Sariayu and Royal is another.

As to whether you will return to Jakarta or ever make it your primary destination on some future trip; I think it is too early to make that decision. Give it time. I really do not know if I can justify making a trip there specifically to monger. I may choose another 3-5 days when I can catch a cheap flight directly into Clark again, but I doubt I would make it a primary destination.

More gold from TroyBoy. I know Medellin best these days but have to say I don't think there is anyplace anymore where one can find quality on the cheap (like one could 15 - 20 years ago). Back in the early 2000's I was pulling stunning Brazilians in Rio for $25 who made me feel like I was their long lost sailor. Returning to Asia for the fist time in a long time early next year and going to hit Manila, Angeles, Siem Reap, Pattaya, Kuala Lampur, Jakarta, Sydney and New Zealand. Yes some of those locations are not for mongering, but I do want to see the world as well. Hope I do as good a job as you contributing when I'm done. But in any case you say "Jakarta is fun, but for quality it is not cheap". Where these days can you find quality on the cheap? As for me, I'm spending thousands just on airfare and lodging, I'm going to look for the best quality I can find in every location I visit and not try to save a few bucks on the girls. Saturday night- my last night I planned to spend at Malioboro and get one of those super stunners with huge tits. When I got there at 8 pm the selection was no where near as good as it was on Thursday night. I was very disappointed that the one I had been attracted to most was no where to be found. Late in the evening the selection got a little better, but still nothing like what I saw 2 days earlier. (timing is everything).

Eventually a mamasan came up to me and introduced herself. I told her what I was looking for and she brought me to a booth with 15 options sitting. Do not be shy -- say exactly what you are interested in. I wanted <22, no baby, big tits. 4 out of the 15 stood up and I made my pick. Total damage 1,500,000. All in all I was very happy. She was pretty, young and built- but she was not one of the 4 absolutely gorgeous stunners I had seen prior. Oh well.

The next morning was a Sunday and traffice was minimal. It took less than an hour to get to the airport. If you need to catch a flight be sure to give yourself plenty of time if you travel on a Monday-Friday.

At Travel hotel I immediately found what I was looking for. It was early (6 pm), but I wanted to grab someone to wife up with and utilize my nice room at the Harris Vertu. Cost for overnight take out was 2,400,000. I made a good selection. She ended up staying until 11 am the next morning.

I spent Friday afternoon at Hotel Illigels spa. This is luxury at it's finest. They have sauna room, steam room, oxygen room, three pools different temps, beautiful massage rooms. I think the entrance fee was 150000. The massage rooms put the Malio rooms to shame. I had a 90 minute oil rub by a 30 something. I was a little disappointed they did not offer me to "select" my masseuse, but I really had no intention on losing my chee this early. I was directed by a host to the massage room where their choice was standing at the door. Maybe they would have allowed me to change masseuses had I pressed it. But not important. I wanted to select something later from Travel or Classic for take out. At the end of the massage my gal became very irritated that I would not take her up on the HJ / full sex she was offering. She just was not my type. I gave her a 100,000 tip for a good rub.

Just a few blocks up the street from Illigels is a street with 3-5 brothels / massage. One of them is called Berlin and another something like Katrina. I checked these out but they were all pretty disgusting. Much like the Sariayu / Royal options.

I then walked to Hotel Travel checking out Lokisaru on the way. I couldn't find anything at Lakisaru except a "Cherry's" massage which had more of the same low end stuff. There was also a hotel there that had a huge KTV karioke set up. I did see some attractive girls, but singing in a room is not my things.

Overall I was extremely happy with performance (both hers and mine LOL). I now had no chee / mojo, but I decided to head down to the Malioboro club which just opened at 8 pm. WOW== I have not seen so many stunners with huge racks in such a concentrated place in a long time. There were 4-5 who were absolutely gorgeous. I do not know what they were asking, but I am sure I would have paid had I any mojo in my pants. They swarm on you 3-4 at a time grabbing your cock and sticking their tits in your face. At 10 pm I decided to explore some of the northern Jakarta options. I took a taxi to "Kota Inda" where the cheap local brothels are. I walked into about 8 of them, but still had no mojo to act on anything. They really did not have much, but I did see a few cuties. Sariayu and LA had probably the best options. I am sorry, but I do not remember the prices they were asking. It was very cheap compared to the Malio option I just left- but you get what you pay for. These places are seedy and not for the novice monger.

I next hit Travel Hotel (11 pm) and the place was hoppin- followed by Hotel Classic, also hoppin. I had been traveling all day from Pattaya / BKK / Jakarta. I took care my needs with the Malio massage girl and the rest of this day was more for recon. I wanted to determine how to spend my next two evening here. Both Travel and Classic looked like they had many of my types at about 1/2 the price of Malioboro. But no question---- Malioboro had the most stunners with huge racks and this is what I look for.

Airport exhchange 13,300/ usd. Schwab ATM rate was 13,000. (100,000 rupiah =$75) Took Silver Bird luxury taxi / sedan from airport, 3 pm arrival -- 1. 5 hours to Harris Vertu. Cost about 200,000. I know bluebird taxi would have been cheaper, but a friend suggested Silver bird. It was a nice, comfortable ride in heavy traffic-I splurged a little.

After quick shit, shower and shave walked across street to Malio Hotel 5 pm. The Malioboro club did not open until 8 pm, but the two lounges upstairs were open. One lounge had a selection 25 masseuses (430,000). The other lounge with food and dance stage the girls were asking 1,100,000. I picked a 19 yr no baby from the cheap gallery and spent an hour in their very nice rooms. Total damage ended up being 1,000,000.

I decided to give Jakarta a try. I was in Pattaya and planning to head to Angeles City. Air Asia had a Thursday $95 usd direct flight to Jakarta and then I booked Sunday Scoot flight Jakarta directly into Clark (AC) for $150. I was heavy on my carry-on which Air Asia let slip, but Scoot caught me for an extra $75 baggage fee. Note to self: "when I fly Scoot in future pre-buy checked bag option. " Harris Vertu was recommended by Smoothy- thank you so much. Harris Vertu is probably the best "value" I ever had for a quality 4-5 star hotel. ($67/ night Agoda).

Hotel Malio / Malioboro is almost directly across the street. The hotel lobby is on the 5th floor of modern shopping / hotel complex.

In India, it is not unusual to have many raids when someone new takes charge. LE / governor etc. Its mostly to increase the kickback amount or scare other establishments into renegotiating terms. I am due to visit next Jan. And Alexis closure worries me a little. Was planning for a good spa session. I am on SA and I get plenty of attention. Hopefully, things will work out.

I reckon there will be plenty of freelancers still but what will be missed is dozens of girls running around naked.

The religion political changes in Indonesia are a different. I'm experiencing this on every annual visit I make. You could buy beer at 7 Eleven not so long ago.

But they'll find it impossible to wipe out the sex trade. The economics, demand and available tech platforms. But yes, will miss the dancing girls.

The article mentions nothing detailing any illegal activities discovered on the premises. Only states a few patrons enjoying the spa services and 50 karaoke rooms closed due to very low patronage.

However with all the heat in this area, I'm thinking I may have to get myself to Jakarta to sample the wares before it's all gone!

I have seen two articles in Indonesian on the so-called Classic raid. The other one, that has not been mentioned yet in this thread is http://poskotanews.com/2017/11/03/ma...ng-kehancuran. Based on my limited understanding of Indonesian, as well as some rough software translations of the two articles, it seems the three or four officers who visited the Classic building made a point of concentrating their efforts on those locales within the building where no or very little was taking place, such as the closed-down karaoke rooms. So while it is still possible there is going to be a continuing clampdown, it may also be that the new administration after having closed down Alexis, is now going through additional motions to show they are concerned about the "prostitution problem," even if that means investigating the various locales and concluding they are not places of prostitution. These efforts may be more about playing to Anies's base of conservative Muslims, than anything Anies is really concerned about. If the former, these may be "show visits" to feign concern about places of prostitution but designed to conclude many of the locales do not have prostitutes. And even if this is not what Anies wants, corrupt lower level police might want to publicly reach this conclusion to protect their revenue streams notwithstanding that doing so is becoming more dangerous. In any event it is difficult to really know what was behind the Classic visits (hardly raids} if the media reports are accurate, which they may or may not be.

Only time will tell whether Alexis will turn out to be a one-off, with the rest of the brothels only subject to show visits to feign concern about the possibility of prostitution. But then officials may conclude (wink, wink) it doesn't exist at these places, thereby allowing business, including the payoffs to keep the places open, to proceed as usual.

Having said all this, this is my optimistic interpretation of what is going on. But it is probably equally possible the present LE actions foreshadow a true crackdown that will change the scene tremendously for the worse. And it may be the seemingly weak-kneed officers who didn't find much of anything at Classic went off script by essentially finding no or very little prostitution there, whereas others will later investigations will report what is there more accurately. It's hard to know.

Now it is Hotel Classic turn. Jakarta choice is more and more limited.

I don't think there are any fishbowls in Jakarta at the moment. I haven't been there in a while, but from what I understand, the place you mention does not have girls sitting in the fish bowl anymore. Rather, they are sitting at the tables around the bar, and the place is pitch black similar to Today's country back in the day so it's close to impossible to select a girl without mamasan assistance. I also hear they are changing their hours from 2 pm till 4 am to 10 am till 11 pm (which, if true, would be very good for me).

I hear Hotel Classic was raided recently. I don't know the details, but obviously the brothels are taking some serious heat right now.
