Could anyone who is familiar with Jakarta in pre-pandemic times give a proper, broad overview of the current mongering situation in the city? From perusing the forum, I have the impression that the large venues like Classic Hotel, Tourst Hotel, Malioboro, Kings Cross, Sumo are all closed; some smaller massage places are open. Is this correct? What about online dating? I would have thought that if most venues are closed, girls would migrate to online dating where I assume it is more difficult for the government to regulate activity.

And what is it like to be in Jakarta now? Are malls open / closed, bars open / closed, people working from home, traffic and air and noise pollution down?

Australia is lifting the ban on outbound travel. Hopefully more flights and inbound restriction from Indonesia lifted too.

I would think both the tabloids and CNN might even agree that is the case.

Quarantine is the requirement for entry now, but at some point in the future, most likely when 75% to 80% of the local population has been vaccinated this will end and all foreigners will need to enter is a negative PCR test and / or proof of vaccination.

I would love to go back to Jakarta, but not until 1. The quarantine is lifted and 2. I hear that my favorite bordellos or quality new ones are back up and running. It is a good thing there are alternative open, no quarantine, countries to visit and hook up with smoking' hot girls or I would be very depressed. Here is to a spring 2022 open city Jakarta. I hope it happens.

When things start to reopen you should see if Kings cross, Sumo spa and hotel or MTR2 bar are open, all were a lot of fun to visit in Kelapa Gading before the covid shutdown.

I think the railroad track brothels were all shut down a few months ago, when I visited them over a year ago the quality of the talent was very poor but the price I was quoted was only 200 k, I passed on the offers but it was worth a look for the experience.
