It was a long time ago, but when I tried to install WeChat I needed to have another current user verify my new account. Is this still required? I couldn't complete the verification because I didn't know anyone else who the WeChat and, given its intended purpose, I wasn't about to start asking civilian friends.

My Seeking.com Experience in Jakarta

Just came back from a long trip to Jakarta. I must say, I miss the energy of Jakarta. And the women are quite stunning. My experience on Seeking (SA) was mostly positive. I ended up meeting 4 girls on the site that charged between $125-$200 USD ppm for incredible GFE adventures. They all came over to my place. One of them was a doctor who came over for a weekend for free, other a MILFy former TV host who I ended up dating (no ppm!) for a few weeks. And thankfully everyone looked like their photos. Maybe slightly better in person English was never a problem.

That said, there were a fair number of VERY expensive women. Many were asking for $400-$1500 USD per visit. Crazy. Models, former beauty pageants, Russian IGers. And any of the girls with bigger boobs seemed to charge more. And the SA in Bali is horrible. Lot of narcist influencer wannabes that charge much.

I come to learn that many local men have mistresses. Politicians, businessmen, generals. These guys have crazy rich Asian money, and are happy to throw $000's USD to these girls. So not as cheap as I thought it would be. Maybe Tinder is cheaper.

While others have mentioned Tinder. I liked that on SA no one flaked on me, no catfishing and the photos were real. Tinder seems like it might take a bit of work. But there is not so much inventory on SA. Start to see the same girls after a few weeks.

BTW. One of my dates told me that some men on Seeking get attached and then abusive with the women when they try to break up. Another one told me about a "forced" situation. I know everyone on this forum is respectful, but its a good reminder for all of us to treat these ladies with respect.

G, I had heard about this issue, don't know if it is still the same. I had tried to get one of my Uni friends to load it up as I was having issues chatting with them, WeChat seems to be good at working over dodgy internet connections, were other apps would fail to connect! She wasn; t able to load it up for the same reason, that was pre-Covid, probably about 4 years ago. I used to travel a lot in China and WeChat is the go to app there, even as a money app similar to Google pay. Can't remember if they had that set up requirement then.

You will be surprised at what impromptu meetings will pop up if you go to a low to medium end mall and walk around with a smile and friendly attitude.

Pro tip: learning the simplest of Bahasa Indonesia greetings improves your odds 1000 x.

I'll be in CGK next month, and I'm doing some research. I see a few posts about tour guide plus plus. How do you guys normally meet these "tour guides plus plus"? I do want to explore the area and the food with a local, and I'd love some cultural insights as well.

Is it tinder + bumble + OKC + Badoo? Would appreciate help here.

I've had plenty of success with Tinder and also had WeChat on my phone, although didn't use that to meet anybody in Jakarta. With Tinder you can set up meetings beforehand, WeChat is of more a use once you get there with the discover function.

Tinder was pretty simple to use. First get Gold Level access a couple of weeks before you go and put yourself as being in Jakarta. Put in your intro what you want and the girls should come a knocking. Don't be too silly in what you put in there. I put in that I was a traveling guy, knew how to treat a lady, looking for dinner dates / company and plenty of girls start hitting you up. Never had anybody not end up back in my room. Lots of ladies out there just want some loving. Yes there are also plenty of sharks so start chatting with them and you will soon find out who the good ones are. And don't get shy to drop them if they don't seem right. Did that a few times. The effort is worth it and don't think I've been disappointed with the returns. Had one who got very possessive after a couple of repeats so bounced her. Ex-model, ex-wife of a bule, got the big house in Pondok Indah, but missed the fun around town. Did hitch up with a few gems, especially Uni Students. Yes it does take a bit of pre-work, but I found it to be worth it. Some would end up being travel companions when I visited Malaysia as KL had gone to the dogs as far as the P4 P scene goes.

WeChat is a completely different beast, if Jakarta is still the same as it was pre-Covid. You will get bombarded by greetings / contact requests. You will then have to decide who you want to connect with and then have to possibly deal with the bate and switch.

Good luck. Just be aware that the girls' promises can be very unreliable, especially so if you aren't even in town / country yet.

I've found it much more reliable to make contact when I'm there and make plans to meet today or tomorrow, not next month.

If you do go to Bali stay at Kuta. That is where all the freelancers are. Most of them are from Java not local. Local girls almost never interested in hooking for money.

All true. However, IG models will only be seen in public with socially acceptable dates (think tatted up Chad's). For mere mortals, they will insist on ST incalls to their apartments, likely in Seminyak.

Short, concise, and excellent writeup about those 2 cities. I personally visited Jakarta twice and I enjoyed it. Bali looks like a potential visit on my next trip to Indonesia.

Jakarta; many more girls and locations at all price points; no real central red light district or one stop shop and insane traffic meaning you can be driving for hours per day going from one option to another; little or no English at low end places; if your presentable, many freebies / GFEs available; foreigners are still a novelty in many areas so many girls who will offer to be a tour guide plus plus.

Bali: lots of action within walking distance of the tourist areas or girls who will come to you; girls are use to newbie tourists so action is typically very professional and uninspiring; generally very little GFE; like for like, tourist prices are 50% higher for poorer service; availability of mega hot Instagram models with prices and attitudes to match; lots of places to take a favoured girl for a few days or weekend; if your presentable, don't rule out local or foreign backpacker freebies.

Many would argue that the best option is to combine the two and offer a week's holiday to a girl in Jakarta and import her into Bali. Flights are cheap, you will get much better service levels and many girls would jump at the opportunity for minimal spending money. Obviously, you need to be confident in your choice.
