BTW has the CJ prices gone up last couple of years, I was there last I think 2 years back and would typically pay somewhere between 700k-850k. I remember reading about guys paying less, and I did also occasionally pay more. All a matter of supply and demand and in some cases tunnel vision.

The prices in CJs cud range from 500k to 1 mln for overnight, depending the girl and the time at night. Normally they start with 1. 2 mln and we cud close the deal for 1 mln for quality ones and 500 or less for the Kampung girls. Personally, CJs is still the best comparing Shagri la or others. It closes at 3 and you can see all the left overs proceeing to Red Square and Stadium.

While we're talking about prices in CJs, it also depends on how they read you as a punter. Are you experienced in Jakarta or a newbie? Do you know your prices? Are you confident with what you say? Is it getting late? What other prospects do there seem to be in the bar? After getting friendly with a couple of them (always try and act the gentleman even if things weren't great. I will talk very frankly and just say maybe we're just not compatible, but now that you know what I'm like, let me know whether you have any friends who might be a good match) and I can always get a decent price (max 700k a night, sometimes 500k) from them or their friends that they recommend.

Incidentally, I noticed that the FLs are also wandering onto my favourite dating site; I discovered this by meeting a couple of them for dates (including one a couple of days ago) and they told me, very straightforwardly, that they were in this for money (although they also enjoy some fun). I was horrified to hear some of the prices quoted (1 million ST was considered normal) and duly informed them that it was too high in this market when students (who were prettier with better bodies) were available for 300k. It was not well received by one of them who responded: go and call one of those students then! Ah well, you can't win them all. Thankfully, there are plenty of lovely luscious ladies out there to choose from, so you can have the confidence to walk away and find someone else.

Sorry bro. I deleted her number. But you can spot her at their very first long counter at the entrance, on your left side. She is always seen among a group of so called "high end". I met her couple of times at CJs later but didn't bothered. You can ask for any waiters (may be Veena.) at CJs. She is quite famous there.

If you stay in the northern part of Jakarta, as far as I know, Mangga Dua Mall (not WTC Mangga Dua!) , next to Le Grandeur hotel (Dusit) , is also a centre of hardware and pirated software.
