The best and easiest tip for learning Bahasa is to grab a kamus hidup and go touring the city. If you insist that she doesn't speak a word of English, then you will be amazed at how easily you pick it up. It's an introduced language so designed to be easily learnt and understood. Especially so the basics.

P.S. Yes, the s is often dropped in everyday language: Sudah, Saja become uda, aja etc.

First day in Jakarta, stayed in the north area where most stuff seems concentrated.

Berlian / Kartika. Closed. Whole alley closed, one streetwalker.

Orchardz. Both locations closed.

Hotel Travel. Packed w like 40-50 girls, most young probably 20-28. ID rate them mostly 4-6. 5's. Great price 375 k /1 500 k /2. Mamasans hella pushy kept bringing girls in front of me. I left but will come back to peruse-- such a huge selection.

Vfour. Maybe 10 girls roughly 4-7. All seemed uninterested, I left.

Starmoon bar. Maybe 15 girls. 4-5's. I forgot the price or I didn't ask cause I wasn't interested.

Unless the setup has changed post COVID, it's pretty straightforward to grasp after 1 or 2 visits. Rather than visiting the fishbowl in the back right corner, a more relaxing approach is to sit at the bar or a side table, sip on a beer and allow the mamasan to bring the girls to you. If you find one you like, sit and chat for a while. When you're ready, ask her "mau naik?" To which she will gladly lead you (and your unfinished beer) to the cashier at the back left. The cashier will charge for the session with the girl and any beverages.

Your girl then leads you (and your beer) upstairs. At the top of the stairs, the guy at the desk will lead you to the room and might occasionally try to sell you an overpriced condom. If he does and you bring your own, just tell him "udah punya" and you're good to go. As all bills are now paid, once the session ends you can walk down the stairs and out the door.

I was in that alley, I mentioned it in my trip report. That trip report lives in a certain forum about Pattaya (where I type this from now) in the "rest of the world" area. 26 why / o going to be in Jakarta from 6/19-21. Got a spot in north Jakarta, first time traveling alone! Just had a week in bali and going to monger a bit in Jakarta after a loong long roadtrip thru east java. Anyone free to link, eat, monger? Eatings better with company 😂.

My Seeking.com Experience in Jakarta

Just came back from a long trip to Jakarta. I must say, I miss the energy of Jakarta. And the women are quite stunning. My experience on Seeking (SA) was mostly positive. I ended up meeting 4 girls on the site that charged between $125-$200 USD ppm for incredible GFE adventures. They all came over to my place. One of them was a doctor who came over for a weekend for free, other a MILFy former TV host who I ended up dating (no ppm!) for a few weeks. And thankfully everyone looked like their photos. I come to learn that many local men have mistresses. Politicians, businessmen, generals. These guys have crazy rich Asian money, and are happy to throw $000's USD to these girls. So not as cheap as I thought it would be. Maybe Tinder is cheaper.

While others have mentioned Tinder. I liked that on SA no one flaked on me, no catfishing and the photos were real. Tinder seems like it might take a bit of work. But there is not so much inventory on SA. Start to see the same girls after a few weeks.

BTW. One of my dates told me that some men on Seeking get attached and then abusive with the women when they try to break up. Another one told me about a "forced" situation. I know everyone on this forum is respectful, but its a good reminder for all of us to treat these ladies with respect.

G, I had heard about this issue, don't know if it is still the same. I had tried to get one of my Uni friends to load it up as I was having issues chatting with them, WeChat seems to be good at working over dodgy internet connections, were other apps would fail to connect! She wasn; t able to load it up for the same reason, that was pre-Covid, probably about 4 years ago. I used to travel a lot in China and WeChat is the go to app there, even as a money app similar to Google pay. Can't remember if they had that set up requirement then.

You will be surprised at what impromptu meetings will pop up if you go to a low to medium end mall and walk around with a smile and friendly attitude.

Pro tip: learning the simplest of Bahasa Indonesia greetings improves your odds 1000 x.
