If I were you, I'd take a taxi even if going from Blok M Plaza or Blok M Square. The bars of interest are D's place, Top Gun and My Bar. D's place starts around 8 pm (close around 1 am), Top Gun starts around 10 pm (close around 2 am) and My Bar starts around 1 am (close around 4 or 5 am).

2) Yes. All freelancers (the dancers in Ds place are not really free lancers, they are paid to dance there. Then again, Karel has proven that those dancers at Ds can be taken home on their off days or after work.). Although there are occasionally some girls from Bats and Cjs, those Bats and CJs girls usually arrive at My Bar very late at night (after 2 am). But you never know, sometimes they do show up early. Top Gun is a bar few meters north of Block M Plaza. It is found on Jalan Falatehan. You can ask anyone at the Plaza, people will happily assist you. So much information is already available in the forum.

BTW, why do you want to use your credit card? You can withdraw cash at an ATM and use the money for mongering.

Would appreciate some leads on how to go about finding Viets with the quoted services on the Menu when I visit Alexis.

You won't get any imports in this budget at Alexis. You can get local girls though. Prices for imports start from 2. 3 Mn. Better to carry 3 Mn as you would also be buying some drinks and would tip as well.

I personally do not find Alexis enjoyable and in fact very pricey. I can't really remember the actual price but it should be in the price range mentioned earlier. However, please be aware that you may be presented with a survey form after your session, and on it asking you how much tip you want to give by circling the desired amount. That amount will be tagged on top of your final bill.

Also, they are definitely paranoid about people taking photos with their phones. They have signs everywhere specifically saying no photos allowed. In fact, as soon as you stepped out of the elevator, a security guard would give you stickers to cover both the front and back camera lenses of your phone.

Finally went to two spas on this trip which I've been thinking about. The first is Sumo which is about 2 alleyways from King Cross in Kelapa Gading (I think both are owned by the same group). The first though that entered my mind when I entered the place was that it looked like it was built a few years earlier than KC. Next I noticed the downstair facilities area was packed with locals who use it like a 24 hour fitness center and as a social gathering point. Girls on the first floor were much at ease chatting up with the known locals. Had to wait a bit to take a shower before finally making my way upstairs. Most guys didn't seem to do that. Anyway they had a room full of full service masseuses available for 720 k with hourly full service only from 800 k on up to well over a 1,000 k for foreigners. Alexis is the place that is furthest away. However, if you are at the Pullman, you are quite close to Malioboro. Or even Hotel Classic, Emporivm, Travel, Sun City, Kartika, and all of those Mangga Besar places. Alexis is probably another half hour further away than those places.
