Any suggestions on good GF hotels to stay near travel and classic? How about jayakarta, orchard or 81? I see jayakarta and orchard have spa, are they functional?

I was there until 2 am until music stops and lights came on. Not sure if that timing changes depending on the day if the week.

Ground floor was open until 4 am.

This was the most recent post that I could find with opening and closing times for Classic. Is it still the same now?

I learned that Classic now opens at 2 pm and closes 1130 pm. Most girls arrive by 3 or 5 pm. Most guys come by 9 pm, maybe as early as 6 pm. So my plan is to go at about 4 and hope to hit the sweet spot.

If I had to choose between the two I would stay at the Shangri-la. My company used the Mulia as the corporate hotel but I spent most of my time in BATS. CJ's was a lot darker, harder to see the selection, and BATS just had a better vibe. Was last in Jakarta last October and BATS was busy, so I suspect it has only got busier as the world has settled down. Both of them tended to be full of experienced FL. Was due to be there next week and was going to stay in the Shangri-la, but trip pushed to October.

I have enjoyed RTFF the last 20-25 pages and picked up a lot of good insight. Thanks to all who contribute. I will do my bit after my long-awaited trip in end Sep.

I am already thinking the following -.

1. How is the scene at BATS at the moment and compared with CJs. Do you find 8-10's or generally more experienced but older FLs? I will then decide whether to stay in Shangri-la or Mulia?

2. Are there good credible escort agency options,? I have already noted to consider Badoo, Tinder gold and Seeking Arrangement.

Also for classic hotel I saw floor 2 and 5 , other floors not worth to visit?

And finally do I need to know some bahasa? For preferences and no baby things?

The train tracks aren't worth a visit. Maybe out of curiosity is all.

Level 5 seems permanently shut now at Classic, just level 2 and the club (or whatever it is called) to the right at the main entrance seem to be open.

Ah, the good old days. Still remember going to "D's Place" with Menteng back in 2005, ended up bringing a sweet young Javanese girl back to my hotel (Mandarin Oriental). In the morning she pulled a long sleeve top out of her bag, put it on over her more sexy top, and told me she was going directly to her workplace (some shop in one of the malls), so my walk with her through the lobby (the "walk of shame") to put her in a taxi was not too bad.

I last saw Smoothy in March 2018 when he and I had a great time at one of the bars in Pang-Jay, I think it was the New Sari Ayu Club. We both chose girls from the fishbowl and relaxed with a drink before heading upstairs (separately). Still remember walking up the stairs behind my girl who was tottering on these enormous heels.

It's a shame to read that many of these places have faded away.

To Hilo and veterans in the Jakarta thread.

On the far left, the beautiful and enigmatic Prapti (pretty by name and pretty by nature). I was convinced she would marry one of the thousands of bules (including me) who lusted after her but apparently she just went back to her kampung and settled down with a local lad, what a waste. And of course on the right, sweet motherly Fitri, who you had a big crush on as I recall.

All gone now, Dee's Place has changed hands, it was a graveyard the last time I visited, no sexy dancers, no VIP room for nefarious pleasure.
