I usually go to Delta Spa near by. Will Delta be open during Ramadan? How about other spas like MyPlace?

Any other places you would recommend in Mega Kuningan area? May end up checking out BATS or Block M.

There are always actions here if you know where to go if you are coming next week it should be OK, most sauna and brothel only closed down a few days on the first week of Ramadan just ask the taxi guy or just call delta first before you go.

Ramadan. I've been in town for a few days and did not even realize it was Ramadan. My MO is possibly different to most, I work in the morning so need my beauty sleep. Just back from 3 days in Jakarta for the first time in years and tried out 3 venues that I had never visited before.

King Cross. Arrived at 11.30 pm. Cover charge of Rp 150 k payable on leaving. Downstairs bar had no dancers and some average looking women sitting around that didn't appeal much. Went up to the massage place. Also average looking women lounging around half asleep. Didn't ask the prices as I had no interest. Went to the upstairs bar. Crowded. Had to stand for 10 minutes to get a table. Girls in bikinis doing the rounds asking for drinks in singles and pairs. 1 drink for Rp50 k gets you some chat and heavy pressure to buy more drinks. For 5 drinks the girl will take off her top, encourage you to suck her nipples and grind her crotch against yours. For a further 5 drinks some will offer to take their bikini bottom off too and grind on you bollock naked. Remember not to wear white jeans to King Cross! The bikini girls all look in their early 20's and all have good to fantastic figures. Young mothers need not apply. At about midnight half a dozen of the 10/10's did a strip show on stage. Malioboro. Arrived at 6 pm. Went up to the spa. Cover charge Rp130 k and was told the price was Rp900 k outside. Inside the mamasan says it is actually Rp1. 2 m. When I asked why the variance, she says 1. 2 m includes a 300 k tip for the girl. Reasonable selection of Indos only, some 8/10's. In the room she stripped off and had a quite nice body but went into a rather perfunctory routine like a lot of the parlour girls in BKK who have their own strict routine and don't want to vary much from that. Condom on immediately, cuddling, playing with titties or snatch discouraged after a few seconds. CBJ with her sitting between her legs to ensure I can't grab any part of her. Then girl on top with fake moaning, expected it to finish in a couple of minutes. But it didn't due to lack of foreplay on her part and boredom and jadedness on mine. If like the place and you're prepared for this annoyance and have Rp5-10 k ready for each, you might not mind. But I wouldn't go there again with that hassle and the less than stellar experience upstairs.

In sum I liked the King Cross sexy dancer bar the best. You can get hassled a lot by sexy dancer girls demanding drinks. But where else in the world can get a young 10/10 topless girl sticking her tits in your face and grinding herself on your boner for 10 minutes for US $18 with the option of a GFE in the sack with her or one of her friends for US $135 including tip? You might get a good shag in BKK for less than that in BKK but most clubs in Bkk don't have such an impressive line up of girls and the titty experience you get for 5 lady drinks at KC is unrivaled in BKK. I thought my girl there would probably be a bit of a head banger doing a job like that but when I got her in the room she seemed quite normal and sweet to talk to. In contrast the girls I got at Alexis and Malioboros came across more like hardened hookers to me. Anyway, every monger has his own preferences and the venues can change quite rapidly but these were my observations in June 2016.

I had about forty eight hours in Jakarta heading home from a visit to Borobudur, near Yogyakarta. Borobudur is home to a fantastic religious structure. It is also home to the largest Buddhist temple, but that pales compared to the Giant Chicken Church which features much smaller crowds and a lower admission fee, though admittedly there are a lot fewer bas-reliefs of topless babes.

I had targeted the Malioboro so I stayed at the Grand Mercure Harmoni, which has taken the window-between-the-bedroom-and-the-shower thing to a new level: About three meters by three meters.

It was like she had dual personalities that were determined by what floor she was on.

As noted above, the price seemed to be in keeping with Sean EZ's sideliner but it was sort of hard to figure out the receipt afterward. I think the charge for the girl is deliberately kept off of the itemized bill and only added to the final one, maybe for legal reasons or to give the customer a "clean" receipt he can show. Not sure whom he would be showing it to, though I once put a short time hotel on a travel expense report and got it paid.

So not a great experience but I'm still batting 500. Might try Alexis next time.

In all of my visits to Golden Crown, I have never once been approached by a mamasan. I didn't even know there were any there. You are correct that it's important to be able to speak Bahasa there. If you can't speak Indonesian, it's not an easy pickup spot. Also, if you are Non-Asian you have less chance than if you are Asian. Still a fun spot and there are some opportunities there.

You were correct not to give 100 usd tip. That's an absurdly high tip and absolutely not what they normally get. I normally give between 100 k and 300 k tip there depending on service and the girl. Alexis has great girls, maybe the best in town. The problem I have with Alexis is that I spend too much money overall when I go there. My bill after the atrocious 21% tax they charge is normally 4 to 5 million including drinks and girl.

I think there are not too many reports on Alexis Hotel in the forum, which is a pity as I found it to be a very good mongering option. I have earlier visited Malioboro, which is also good but now after going to Alexis I would prefer this any day. Unlike Malioboro and other strip-clubs, Alexis is focused on the spa and sex only.

The hotel is located in a somewhat dark side-street to a major street, close to the Mangga Dua Square. There is a karaoke, restaurant. , etc. But the action is all on one floor (if I remember the 7th floor). The good thing I liked about Alexis as compared with Malioboro is that the staff is helpful and they will explain everything to you, as well as answer any questions. In Malioboro I found the staff to be testy and laconic, and also difficult to communicate with in English.

Once you get a bracelet and a locker, you would change into spa-clothes. The locker and shower areas are quite clean and nice. Then, you have an option to either sit around in a dark-ish area with lots of lounge chairs and beds, or try out the various spa options (whirlpool, sauna, steam, etc). There are several massage options as well. When you want you can go into the restaurant where all the ladies are (and there are a lot- about 40 of different nationalities). There is no pushiness, no pressure. In fact, I was very happy that the managers ask you to specify the criteria you are looking for (e. G. Height, nationality, bust size, etc) and then they would pick out a line up and let you choose. You can opt for a 2nd or 3rd line up as well. I guess this is also possible in Malioboro but you would need to spend much more effort there. The pricing is informed before-hand, Indonesian ladies have a total fee of about USD 100 and the foreign ones are USD 150. Once you select, you have a choice to take the girl directly to the room or have some time in the whirlpool. I decided the latter, and did not regret it as I received a nice intimate massage there. Then it was off to the room, which was very luxurious. The quality of service was very nice from the girl I had selected, with a CBJ with very good technique, light kissing and sex in multiple positions. All in all very satisfactory and I will return very soon.
