Heard about the massage center at Melawai 6th floor.

A few questions to ask

1) what is the damage per hour for massage?

2) is ST allowable ? If yes, how much will it be & what are the services provided?

ST is certainly "allowable" at Maribaya at Melawai on the 6th floor. Indeed, that is what they specialize in. In fact, if you actually want a massage as well, better to ask the girl if she can do it - not all of them actually can give a good massage, although they usually try to make up for it in other ways. If you want LT, you should make friends with the girl, get her number, and meet her after work: works out better for everyone.

The cost is Rp 400,000. Some people tip, some don't: it's not quite like Kota, where not leaving a tip will get the same kind of response as not tipping a cabbie or waiter in New York.

try jaspa a few times recently,for massage is 100k something.always try soft lady rather than med or strong,bicoz less strong more slim.usually they ask you take off your short,if you did,she will expect you have hj later. never try bbbj,but for second time you can ask her going out.

i tried this place recently.

the lady at the reception desk proposed the massage option. but i had to be rather explicit to make sure i got the fs session + massage session. a guy (the boss? ) sat next to her said "i see, you want the 2 items". i think that 's what most of the clients ask but i think they were cautious as they didn't know me. i was told by my "therapist" that there were not many bule "datang disini".

for the fs, another receptionist asked me to choose among 6 or 7 "freelancers" as they call them. not a great choice.

i opted for tania, 23 yo, nice face, firm body. we went to a rather lousy room upstairs and stayed 45 mn. poor bj but very enthiusiastic when i went into her. she even asked me why i popped so early (first time a girl tells me that, is it serious doctor? ).

after that i was taken to another floor for a 1h30 mn free massage. no choice offered, the lady is sent by the "management" but i think that if you know the number you want you can ask for it. rita or rida (? ) was her name.

really good massage. at the end she offered a fs for 300 k. i declined (tired and no real privacy massage rooms). i got a hj instead, for 100 k.

total damage costs: 250 for fs + 50 tip + 159 for the room + 100 for the hj = 559 k. massage session is free, offered by the house after fs session.

Did you go alone or were you introduced to the 'right crowd'?

Went with a mixed group, expats and locals.

I was thinking about that the other day: if you are a bule and trying to pick up in a place which isn't totally bule-orientated, it usually works well to go out with an Indonesian friend. It seems to work well for both parties: girls figure that a bule with an Indonesian friend has been around Jakarta long enough to know the score and not to be scary. And then they figure that an Indonesian with a bule friend is probably more cosmopolitan and richer than average. I don't know, but it seems to work better than a pack of bules only.

That sounds like a debatable point. I think X2 is a bit looser, better place to go later at night, might, ahem, be more interesting for someone with a handle like "Raverboy". Or maybe I just got lucky and fell in with the right crowd on the night. "High class"?
