I found it hard to understand either his humor, logic or reasoning however best my interpretation of his words.

Perhaps he is thinking in another language and then trying to express himself in English. That could perhaps explain his 'quaint' use of the language.

Another thing I tried out is the Busway system.
During ramadan the traffic jams seemed to be much much worse.Seems I was in a traffic jam all the time.Solution...Busway.
It's almost as good as the BTS in BKK.
From south Jakarta(Blok M) to Kota...one way 35-40minutes!! 1 ticket is just 3500IDR.
There are more routes..but this is the one I used.And basically this one route makes all the P4P places easily accessible.Even during the daytime!!
From the busway station its a short taxi ride to your destination of choice.

Harmoni station: Malioboro Hotel and Emporium Hotel
Olimo Station: Manga Besar Area including TC, Travel Hotel, Jayakarta, boutique Hotel etc)
Blok M station. Blok M night life area.

Just tips with regard to safety.
Taxi.BlueBird group is safest along with Gamya and Express.Avoid Sepekat(also blue) old President taxi.
Safest is to get a Taxi from a hotelstand or from Mall.
Dangers with busway...mainly pickpockets. They hangout around the bridgeentrance to station or at Blok M station.(if you believe the stories...one of the more dangerous places in jkt)
Service ends at 2200.

Why downside compared with BTS.....only Bus has AC.And station suffers from pollution from nearby traffic. Also lack of beautifull gals that you can chat up to like in BKK BTS.

What can I say...it was not so bad as I expected.Some scary moments.
Matter of fact Bali during Ramadan is the best.No local tourists at all...so everything relatively quiet. So I guess more choice for you if u like to hunt.

About jakarta...all hotel spas/MP in kota area etc are all open and working for business.Seems these places are equal to the places in southern China Like in Dong Guan.

I checked...
Hotel Travel (Local indo)
Hotel Malioboro(Chinese)
Hotel Boutique (2spas, Karaoke and inhouse massage..place is loaded)
Hotel Classic
Hotel Emporium(Strictly p4p)
And I guess there are a bunch more.
The scene at these places is pretty much like the hotels in Dong Guan.Pricewise is almost identical. From around 300K. The chinese and PRC type is more expensive.(info from malioboro and travel)

In South Jakarta I wasn't so lucky...people kept telling me that all the bars and mp etc were closed down due to ramadan.
Exception seems to be the Boutique Hotel.Karaoke was open according to manager.
Also funny thing...went to Melawai hotel for Maribaya MP. Everything was closed down.But on the same floor all the rooms are rented by working girls. All ready to do business.
Sadly quality was not that great and I declined.Pricewise was about thesame as in Hotel Travel(350k)...but the looks of the ladies were much lower.Uglier, older ladies.

Well visited alot of places...but on the weekend I wanted some p4p action I encountered some bad luck.
It was a special day during ramadan(something about the day of qu'ran) and all the aforementioned places were closed.I wasnt even able to get a regular massage at the Boutique Hotel.The boutique hotel btw was extremely dirty.So nasty I got an allergic reaction and forced to upgrade to newer room.(expensive)

My luck turned on sunday. Visited Travel Hotel and it was open.Also fully packed.Entering the place was quite funny.Enter via hotel and took a lift up, then walked down.Place was actually in basement hotel.
Gals were seated in the halfround tables at the head of the hall.It turned out they sat together according to which mami they work for.
If you could speak bahasa you could ask the mami for help with what you are looking for. In this way they were quite straightforward with the info I felt.
(Still the ugliest gals gave the best service or massage)
The gals here are all locals indo's.Some are quite light skinned. But most are darker.Most IMO are all quite young.Teens and early twenties.Not sure if ABG available.After choosing one...be prepared to wait for your room.
I say qualitywise they number from 7-8,5.Saw some real beauts...very petite and slim, but huge racks.(Only in Asia)
Being my first time here I wanted good service and good massage.Chose a tall slim girl.Built like a model.Darkskinned(real hitam Manis) with reddish coloured hair.Imo 7,5...but for Bule's 8-9 I think.Only drawback..damn padded bra's.A cup boobs.
Not sure if it's with all the gals here...but this one gave real GFE. Unbelieveble service and she was SO sweet and nice.In the end a really enjoyable experience.She was quite good at giving massages.Using baby oil instead of teh usual soapies.A tip..make sure the gal has enough oil with here before you start.As i am a big boy she miscalculated the amount needed..

If I read info right...these are the higher end places..normally I go to the places like TC, BM etc.But these are just as great and pricewise quite OK.
Quality of service is much better if what i got is the norm here.Almost on same level as in China.

PS for the old hands here...according to the girl....alot of ladies that come there first gets there training at the Boutique Hotel.
Could that be true? Love to get those fresh ayam kampung.lol.

Anyway conclusion to my trip....even during Ramadan.Indonesia is hard to beat.Price/quality very hard to surpass.

Just sharing info: Delta is also present in Gunung Sahari. Just across WTC mangga dua; Kelapa Gading in commercial complex behind Marina Gading/ across Makro; at Pangeran Jayakarta street. Here named as Puri Handayani.

It was FR by some friends that couple of gals at Gunung Sahari and Pangeran Jayakarta would to FJ though officially Delta doesn't allow that. My experience, the gals there don't do BJ.

Hi gents.- a newbie here, planning my first venture to Indonesia.

I'll be three weeks in Asia (in November) and am also planning to visit Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines. Having been to the latter two once before, I know there's little to know drop-off in activity between weekdays and weekends in Pattaya, AC, etc.

After scouring the forum pages, I'm guessing it's not quite the same in Jakarta and Singapore. Would you recommend I make sure my visits to Jakarta and Singapore take place over Friday-Saturday nights? Or does it not matter that much. I'd hate to get there and have things relatively dead during mid-week.
