I have posted about the Sky Lounge previously on this forum. I have been a frequent guest of this hotel and SkyLounge before and despite its various metamorphosis's the SkyLounge has always been a rip-off. I remember on one occasion I inadvertently paid about US $20 for a soda water! Unfortunately I didn't pick this up until I reviewed the hotels invoice once I got home. The hotel is great, the Sky Lounge not so great.

It would be interesting to hear how you went at the mens spa as I've never had the opportunity to indulge myself. Given the prices at the Sky Lounge I can only guess in horror what the prices at the spa would be. Look forward to hearing about your experience there.

I haven't been to Kartika since around 2007. But the last time I was there, I took two girls and it was one of the most unique experiences of my life. I still can't figure out how they were able to do a two girl sliding sandwich with me in the middle. How was that girl on the bottom able to slide back and forth? It's a mystery to this day but it was great fun. Unfortunately, Kartika has long passed it's prime.

I agree that online delivery is taking over. I preferred the old days when places like Top Gun, Oscars, Tanamur, and Lintas Melawai were in full force. It was a paradise for expats back then.

It's certainly an experience that everyone should try at least once. It's a laugh if you don't take life too seriously and the ladies are definitely entertaining.

She did say that business is well down from its hayday. When I was there girls were occupying only one of the three lounges. Having said that, she did mention that they still see a fair number of expats, all old hands rather than new visitors. Apparently there was another in earlier in the day and when I left a white guy was at the bar making his choice so there still are a few that pass through.

They're not all under the same boss. There's some scheme going around though. A girl's contract requires her to work fornthe same boss for a set period of time and leaving that boss early gets an added five million rupiah fine. So I don't know if the bosses harass the girls or slow down their business, but it forces the girls to leave early to another boss. Thus the new boss has to pay the fine for the girl, and there the debt adds up even more.

Not all girls are in debt like this. You know if they have their original KTP in their possession. The first one I met was a skinny tattooed beauty with firm the breasts and great nipples. Not dropdead cute, but certainly slutty beautiful. I asked her if she had a boyfriend. She replied no, and she didn't want one. She's focused on work to get herself out of that place. It didn't sound like she was locked in a debt Bond as I recall reading that she's been there for a couple of years already and always plays it safe CBJ CFS no kissing. So she's on a mission to get ahead in life working at classic. Good on her.

I haven't been to classic for over a year. I guess I like it too much and it gets me in trouble. Been floating around Kotah Indah finding one ATF after another.

At no point did I say or even make out like it was an achievement. From past posts on this forum one BM states that it cost him a cell phone order to arrange an outside meet because the girl was scared of being caught. It very well may be the case but I didn't get the feeling that the girl was being controlled, my personal experience.

I might be new to Jakarta and this forum but I can assure you I'm more than socially and intellectually calibrated, so you can save your condescending discretion comment.

That tiny minimum fee is just to keep out the freeloaders. Honestly, I wish they would raise it to 200 k.

Plan is to check out King Cross tomorrow, also have the option to extend my stay. Judging by how slowly my stack of currency is going down I may just do that, if this was Manila I'd have blown through all of it plus some.

The massage is actually pretty good on my old frame, progressing from a regular rub down to a two sided body rub. Then it was a CBJ and CFS. First, it's debt labor. They owe 5 to 10 million rupiah to the boss. For this debt, their KTP (Indonesian ID) is kept in the office and not returned. They make 90 k per session plus your tip. Every month, they pay amount 2 million for a shithole to live in, 3 to 4 million for makeup, work provided transportation, interest, and fees. The rest is their spending money and food money, which is usually negative one million per month. So you can see where this is going. They get the negative one million covered by borrowing more from the boss each month.

The boss watches over the girls by means that they don't get days off and even if they get a day off, they're called in surprise to work. During their off time, they come and go as they please but they're not supposed to see guys on the side because it takes the boss out of the loop of income. They still do if they're brave enough to.

I've found a stunner before and she kept saying no she couldn't meet. But sure enough when you offer to give a new cell phone (about 3 to 4 million IDR) they're immediately available. I ended up buying her out of her indentured servitude and sent her home back to her family.

You are exactly right here. Even when those girls give you their number (they will all give you their number), the chances of them actually meeting outside working at a place like Classic are slim. The exception are the dancers, they will meet up. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's rare for a girl who works there as an indentured prostitute to meet up. They are controlled and would be taking a risk. Personally, I don't see the need anyway. Those girls are rarely as fun to hang out with as the actual free lancers one can find around town.

Getting the girl's number was no achievement. But if she actually does meet outside hotel Classic, I would love to read a detailed report on how that went. My experiences with girls like that have always been interesting to say the least (in a bad way). The fact that I don't even try it anymore speaks volumes. Firstly I'the like to thank all the BM who have contributed to this forum, it's made my first visit to Jakarta so much easier.

So I arrived in Jakarta last night, by the time I arrived at the hotel it was around 10:30 pm and I was too tired to contemplate any activities. Wandered up to the top floor lounge and had a seriously overpriced beer at 120 k, won't be going in there again.

Today I made my way to Classic Hotel at 1 pm, sat down at the ground floor cafe and had a strong black coffee. RTFF and saw that the action at the 2nd floor does not start until 3 pm so I just caught up on some emails in between gathering intel already posted here. So the cafe level is the ground floor, up one floor is 1st, up another is 2nd, I initially only went up one floor and wondered why I couldn't find anything of interest. Arrive at the entrance and I'm prompted that there is a 20 or 30 k minimum spend (can't remember how much exactly) to which I agree, I'm given a numbered elasticated wrist band and shown inside the show area.

The place is surprisingly big and as expected a mamasam invites me to sit down and immediately calls upon her 3 girls dressed in red. All were very doable and I tell mama that I'm going to have a drink first and relax, she sends her girls away but immediately brings one of the girls back. The girl was nice and could speak decent English so we chatted while I sipped my drink. The girl suggests that I take another girl for a 3 sum to which I decline but she tries to sell it by telling me the following -.

1 girl = 365 k, 1 hour, 1 shot.

2 girls =500 k, 90 minutes, 2 shots.

Again I decline and we continue chatting. During my time at the cafe downstairs I read that some BM felt that some girls were being forced to work here against their own will. At no time did I get this impression from this girl and she was smiling, chatting and friendly the whole time. I looked around at some of the other girls available and there were plenty of cuties but for my first session in Jakarta I decided to keep the girl I already had due to her friendly disposition and decent English speaking skills. I find communication somewhat important for a good session no matter where I am in the world. The girl calls mama over and she writes up my bill of 365 k and the girl leads me down to the rooms.

Service was very GFE, no time wasted with a massage, she was receptive to my requests and really went with the flow, the only boundary I encountered was that she did not want any fingers inside her. We used the full 60 minutes for easily the best paid session I've had in a while, after a shower I left a couple of red bills underneath her watch on the table. She looks and exclaims "only one?" To which I answered "you want two? She says "yes" and I pretend to do a magic trick and tell her to look again, she finds the notes and says "do again" while being clearly amused. I tell her "next time" and she asks "when?" so I spin her a little lie that I'll return after work tomorrow night. After walking around town for a few days, I was in need of a massage so decided to combine one with our favourite hobby. A soapy at Kartika was deemed to be well in order.

Unfortunately, I couldn't remember exactly where it was and Google / Grab list 3 Kartika Massages near Hayam Waruk, none of them the right one. The correct location is not listed at all so I don't know what they did to piiss of the Google Gods. I was the proverbial guy that couldn't get laid in a brothel, driving around in circles, lost, long enough for Maps to flatten the battery of my cell phone. Back to the hotel room to do some more research and find out wtf is going on: yes, it is still open; yes it's along H Waruk; it's in the same alley as Berlian and Berlian is on the map. Off we go for attempt 2.

Sure enough we easily find Berlian and Kartika is there, plain as day, a couple of doors down. At 6 pm there are two Indonesian guys at the bar and about 10 girls in the lounges. None are stunners so I have a drink and wait to see if better options appear. Nothing does and after making so much effort to get here, there is no way I'm backing out.
