CJ's allows multiple entries per any given night to all its paying customers, but this policy does not apply to hotel guests since hotel guests have free complimentary access.

I also highly recommend the Fairmont Hotel which is very close to the Mulia in case you decide against the Mulia. The Fairmont is an equally fine 5 star plus hotel and cheaper than the Mulia even after adding in the CJ's minimum drink entry fee. Up to you. Both are great hotels.

I can only speak for myself, but I visited Bali for 5 days a few years back while working on Java. For my tastes, I found the women much, much better in Jakarta. I also found Bali to be a tourist trap. I suggest you consider a 50/50 split rather than 5 and 15. Just my 2 cents.

Many would say it's best to combine the two ie take a girl from Java / Jakarta with you to Bali.

I was in Jogja not long ago and met a young couple from Europe who were there "for the local experience". They had rented a little house for a month out in the middle of nowhere that had no air conditioning and no tv. For transportation, they rented a motorbike, and they bought food at the local market and cooked at home every night. Personally, I can't imagine a more boring way to spend a month, but they seemed to love it.

The idea was 2-3 days in Jakarta and 15 in Bali combining local girls, beautiful beaches and trip to all the interesting tourist places in Bali.

For anyone who has been to KI, you will know the prices sit in the mid-high 300's.

You will also have noticed all bars (except Starmoon) play that annoying Kota dance music. Which incidentally cannot be fully appreciated without some help from the apotik, but that generally kills the hardon big time. Anyway I digress, they all feel the same and have the same ambience. Well that's because they are all owned by the same guy, except Starmoon.

So you get dodgy security, pushy mamasans, deafening music, and hit and miss experience.

Well, old boss man has decided to offer a premium service from the regular service mentioned above. With the soft opening TODAY of Mega Ayu. Its located in the first alley of KI and has a similar layout inside to the others. With less cigarette stains on the vinyl lounges. However the girls are the cream of the crop chosen from of all the bars there. And their price is at a whopping 705 rph.

I was privileged enough to view the merch on a pre-opening to the soft opening (how can there be a soft soft opening anyway? And can vouch they all are very cute and look like they haven't sucked on a lemon. As if often the case with the other bars.

So gents, if you feel like an upmarket experience, in a lowmarket area. Give it a try.
