The listed Kota Indah bars all have rooms upstairs. You can have a drink and talk to the girls before a session but I wouldn't exactly call it fun. If you like a girl just go upstairs it's only 350-380k per hour, depending on the bar.

If you want to have fun with girls prior to getting laid you should head to places like CJs and BATS. Malio Club in the basement can also provide your need but that will cost you a pretty penny.

The Venue: Grand Imperial is an Asian style spa, open early, around 11 am or 1 pm, and catering predominately to Japanese and Koreans, with a smattering of Javanese and Western dudes.

There are couple of things that might be useful for fellows who consider visiting the place:

The Korean restaurant near the GI is not operating anymore. I was planning to have my dinner there after using the spa the last week, but had to go somewhere else.

Starting from 04 pm (even on Saturday) it may get really overcrowded. You may not only have to wait more than an hour and a half for your session, but try to find any place at the tables besides the pools, with tobacco smoke everywhere. Places may close and re-open. Shut down for a while but Jakarta has the mongering places that is always there. And here is my reports.

Malio Club / Malio Lounge. Went on a Sunday so the lounge was with less dancers but yes the mamasans were there as usual. Declined the line ups and went down to the club after a drink at the lounge. The club seems to be more lively and adventurous. One lesson learnt if you are going in a group always check the tag has a key when you enter from the lounge. We had to pay a sum as the key was missing in one of our tags. But absolutely sure we never dropped it. Didn't notice it as we were using only 1 tag for the billing. 150 k is the user fees. One more visit during the week made. But only to the club.

That's Soi 13/3 aka Boyztown. Soi 13/1 (Yamato) and 13/2 (Post Office) are on the other side of Royal Garden mall and have low budget gogo bars as well as many bar beers and FS massage places.

A better question would probably be "how long have you been working for blue bird"? It doesn't happen real often, but that's the problem with bluebird. The drivers may be honest, but Bluebird hires guys fresh off the street who don't know a damn thing. Normally those type of guys would never take the long way though because they stick to the direct routes since they don't know jack shit. I have had Bluebird taxi drivers who were working their very first day and I had to tell them how to take the longer and faster route. They always want to take the big roads like Sudirman. These are the types of guys who didn't even live in Jakarta previous to that week and don't know any of the roads. LOL. If you take a non bluebird taxi, that will never happen. I actually prefer Express taxis over bluebird because they are much smarter drivers. If I am going to a place I have never been before, I will not take a bluebird, I will take a different taxi company due to their more experienced drivers.

I agree that if you get stuck with a driver who doesn't even know Jakarta, Google Maps is a good option.

I have to defend the bluebird drivers, those guys are trustworthy. I take 2 or 3 taxis every day and have done that for many years in Jakarta. Those taxi drivers are the most honest drivers I have found anywhere in the world.

Thanks. I didn't mean to bash Bluebird and I absolutely agree with you that Bluebird is likely the best taxi company in the world. Just reporting 2 incidents I had on my last trip. One was with our mutual friend who said to the Bluebird driver "Are you sure you work for Bluebird?" as he took the scenic route thinking we didn't know how to get to our destination. The other incident was with a driver who for some reason purposely drove up a street near National Monument after I told him there was heavy traffic according to Google Maps. We sat in traffic over 30 minutes. He would have made more taking the much longer route I had proposed to take. It's not about the money since taxis in Jakarta are cheaper than anywhere in the world. I get upset that they are wasting my time. My other Bluebird incident was with the Harris Vertu Harmoni Bluebird drivers who all refused to take me to New Medika at around 6 pm because of heavy traffic. The taxi guy then allowed me to hop in to another Bluebird taxi who was dropping off customers. It took that driver over 1 hour to get to New Medika but I tipped him over 100k which he was ecstatic to receive. He was a great guy.

You aren't missing much conversation with Nanda. I spoke Bahasa with her the one time I took her upstairs. She has the intelligence of a 5 year old and can't hold much of a conversation. She can rim a good ass though. No need for much conversation when her tongue is in your ass.

4. Blok M. Have enjoyed so much debauchery in Pattaya and Bangkok, (and many years in Brasil). Read a little about D's Place where they used to have semi private room where you can get a BJ (maybe more). Reported to be the only BJ bar in Jakarta. Any comments on D'S Place or other Blok M bars? So many reports of how much it has declined, but need to see for myself.

D's Place has a VIP room in the back. You can take pretty much any girl who works there into that room and do what you want. You can get a BBBJ, BBFS, or just a nude dance show if you want. If you see a girl you like who works there that you like, just ask her if she wants to go to the VIP room with you. They definitely want that! Even if they are sitting with another guy, I will walk up to them and ask them if they are interested in going to the VI P room with me. They are often sitting with a guy who isn't going to take them to the VIP room so they will gladly leave him. And most times they are seated with a guy who goes there almost every night so he knows the game and won't get angry. She can return to him after you fuck her in the back room.

One important travel note that isn't mentioned often enough for tourists is to ALWAYS try taking a Bluebird taxi when one is available. They will use meters and not try charging you extra on a set rate. Make sure they are aware you are using Google maps or know the direction they are driving because even Bluebird taxis have bad drivers who try to take the long route or get you stuck in traffic to make more money.

I actually prefer that they take those long routes because they are most often the fastest way to get to where you want to go. Most times I actually demand that they do take those long routes because sometimes they are too timid to take them, they are scared I might get mad at them for taking the quicker long route rather than the slower direct route sitting in traffic. I prefer to avoid the traffic and get there sooner rather than save some trivial amount of money. The reason I do not take Uber or Grab car is they use a GPS and stick by that route, they will argue with me when I tell them to take the shortcut (mainly because they are not clever enough to know those shortcuts). Pretty much without fail, the GPS suggested route is not the fastest route. I don't have that problem with a taxi arguing with me over the route, they will take whichever route I want. I had a taxi about a month ago who took me from Mangga Dua to Kuningan in a half hour at rush hour (that would normally take over an hour). The guy was a friggin genius. He took the long route without a doubt going down the weirdest side streets that I didn't even know. He did ask me if I was ok with him taking that route before he took it. I wish I could remember those side streets because I would love to go that way again in the future, but it was fairly complicated.

The non blue bird taxis will many times not use a meter, but if you notice, they also take the "long" route even though you have already paid them a fixed price.

I wouldn't worry too much about using google maps with the taxis.

Just think of Soi 6 in Pattaya on how all the places I mentioned below work. If you are used to Soi 6 then no worries about comments about places not being clean. Kota Indah is no more dirty than Soi 6 imo. They all provide FS which is why I was a bit confused why you were asking for a BJ bar in Jakarta.

In regard to fashion, most if not all men go out wearing long pants and a golf or casual dress shirt.

No need to stay in your room til 9 pm to avoid traffic. Just head out somewhere like Classic or Travel at 4 pm or Sumo Spa at Kelapa Gading at 3 pm. I prefer my girls fresh at the front end of their shifts. Traffic around your hotel isn't awful (you've been to Bangkok you've seen worse) but it is congested around National Monument. It is very bad south of Grand Indonesia mall especially if they close the roundabout.
