    Hotel Puri Denpasar (Kuningan).

    Quick report and review:

What a gem to have discovered! Or may be it was a weekday so I got lucky. A total of 4 therapists shown to me, 2 out of which were absolute stunners! Locals, amazing hot bods, super cute looks and willingness to go the extra mile. Total damage was approx 1.3 juta (300 k for the massage and 1 juta to the girl) but totally totally worth it.

I recommend this hotel. Great location in North Jakarta. Did you go to the evening cocktails on the 10th floor in the evenings? Fantastic cocktails, expensive, but great eye candy making them!

Don't get his hopes up too high. I used to live at the Aryaduta right next to there. I could walk to Mall Semanggi or Atma Jaya University in a couple of minutes. Although I have been with many of the Atma Jaya University girls over the years, I have never picked up even one of them on that campus or at Semanggi mall.

    Gadjah Mada Plaza.

I stayed in the Grande Mecure Jakarta Harmoni last trip and I enjoyed the location. There is a decent mall across the street (walkable via pedestrian overpass) called Gadjah Mada Plaza. I enjoyed exploring and eating there.

It is also walking distance, as noted below, to Hotel Malio. The girls thought it was hilarious that I walked there! I also liked how it was a very short ride to Hotel Classic. It is farther from BATS / CJs, but late at night, after 10 or 11, it didn't add too much to my taxi time.

I am considering staying there again next trip. I used to stay a bit more central or farther south. This was as north as I'd ever stayed. I think it worked well. But it is a Big Durian after all and I am never quite sure how to maximize my location for best results.

Yes, it does. But there is a catholic university next to it, catch my drift. It can be OK for Tinder / internet dates.

But so can Harris or Atlet close to FX Sudirman / Senayan Plaza.

Budget wise, LE Meridien would be in the same ballpark as Crowne, but then again how entertaining is Tiga puluh nowadays?

Way back in (pre-) history the Crowne had a happening night club in its basement. Forgot the name, I think before it changed to "Retro".

I hope nothing serious. Me not more longer in Jakarta either, mostly Manila these days!

    Happy days to all!

Personally, I wouldn't stay at that one. There are much better choices. That hotel is in an area that is not near any of the fun. It is right next to Semanggi Mall, but I think that mall sucks anyway. It depends what type of entertainment you are looking for in town. There are lots of suggestions in the Jakarta hotel thread.

You don't even need to deal with the horrendous Jakarta traffic since you can just walk across the street or use the pedestrian cross-bridge to get there.

Unless, you can get a full body massage ++ in hotel Kartika Chandra as well. In that case, I apologize.
You are correct. I am way off. I was typing before thinking clearly. The Crown I was referring to was the Crown night club!

My bad. Apologies for the error chaps.
