Is the Presidential election on February 14 going to damper the fun factor of Jakarta, before or after the election?

Selection like anywhere, some good, some not good although this can be reversed when you ask the Indonesian next to you who has a preference for light skinned fatties It's subjective!

Mama's at KC can have some attitude. KC has the distinction for OS of being the only place in Jakarta he has never failed to extract BBFS and as recently as 5 days ago. Rooms are quite nice. If KC not to your taste you can go to Sumo in next alley on one side or MTR II in next alley on the other side.

    Hope that helps!

So unless I'm staying near kelapa gading or I'm sick of going to spas / clubs in old town Jakarta. I wouldn't really bother going to kelapa gading.
Hi bro, is kc set up similarly to malio? As in the dancers go around naked for you to feel all over them in exchange for LDs.

Wait, I can take a Malio dancer home for 2 million? That changes everything next time I'm in Jakarta! Some of them are super hot.

King Cross is only one of the bars in Kelapa Gading so we refer to the entire Komplek as Kelapa Gading. From Malio at least 30 minutes by taxi and can easily be over an hour during the hours you likely want to go.

By Malio dancers do you mean upstairs or downstairs? I never remember the name but I believe Malioboro is upstairs and Malio Club is downstairs. There were also other bars on multiple confusing floors in the place. I haven't been to any of the venues in Malio Hotel since pre-COVID but I recall the LD to be much more than 60k, at least downstairs in Malio Club. At least you get a bit of a lap dance with your drinks but if you're on a budget this is not the place for you. That 30-50 drinks for a BJ thing is ridiculous when you can go to Classic or Travel and get FS for the price of a few drinks.
However, some of the dancers in Malio club were mind blowing but most on par with some of the other places around Jakarta.
I went to malio club a couple of months ago. As you walk in you will see there is this malio spa building on your right. Afaik this spa is you get in, pay entry charges for facilities use, and girls available for selection. I never went in so unsure how it actually works inside.

Further down the spa building is malio club on the right as well, it has two levels, ground is where you enter and there is sitting areas with a stage at the middle. Another level is sort of mezzanine level, can see the stage from up there, more private and with partitions with curtains to do whatever you need to do. No differentiation between the 2 floors at malio club, is it under one unit with single entry and exit. Some of the hottest girls you can find in Jakarta, although my sample size is small. Only been to some bars like classic, travel, some ktvs and spas.

Thus my questions on king cross quality and prices and how things work over there.

Normally I think people refer to the upstairs venue as malio spa, while the one downstairs is actually malio club (which can be accessible via the side entrance).

LDs cost about 65 k / ea (including tax) now iirc.

This is not the place if you can't withstand pressure from the dancers (who will let you feel them all over just to get you to buy them more LDs) / surrounded by 10 dancers (getting suffocated by boobs and strong perfume) / letting small head take control.

I have tried controlling my budget at malio club before, only buying like maybe 5 LDs total for a dancer from 11 pm-2 am. But total damage is still pretty hefty, entrance fee + 5 LDs + my own drinks + misc tips. Think I probably spent close to 2 mil idr.

For dancer to BJ you at the 2nd floor of malio club (sofa with curtains), I remember it was 20 LDs + 1 mil idr cash or 30 LDs. If 30-50 LDs, that should be price for FS 1 hour /1 shot.

Unless you are going for the atmosphere, I think it makes more sense to take a malio dancer back overnight for 2 mil idr (negotiate direct with the dancer but she will only come to your room after she end work around 2. 30 am-3 am).

How close is the kc club set up compared to malio?

For eg. Malio dancers with see through fishnet LD at 60 k, BJ available at 20 or 30 LDs. The quality of the WL and dancers comparable to malio?

I've checked the ad for the aptly named blow art and it is a little confusing. They talk about 240 k for base price and "tip" of 1 juta. I think that's 1 million. Is that not way above market prices?

Seems to me that with Jakarta's traffic hassle's its more of a you come to me scenario MO via social media would work better.

Yes I know this should be in the Jakarta Hotel thread but see the first comment.

    Appreciate any responses.
There is no problem staying near the establishments, although if it's your first time there Central Jakarta is a good compromise since you will find more things to do during the day, in all likelihood you are going to venture out of west / north Jakarta during the day anyway. There is also no problem walking in Jakarta it's not Bangkok or Singapore, but not really any different to any less developed city in south-east Asia. Middle class and above Indonesians are very unhealthy and extremely lazy people for the most part, so don't listen to them. I'd avoid south and east Jakarta they are are of little interest to a tourist unless you are into boring malls, little street life. Bars and restaurants in their own compounds.
