Top Gun is often criticized on this forum and I can understand why. Nevertheless I still enjoy the easy atmosphere, the good music and 50,000 San Miguel. Yes, price last time I used it was 3000 rph, and its a great option.

From BlokM catch the Transjakarta busway (the big bendy red ones, not the little red and blue ones with people hanging out) to the station in front of the grand mecure.

This also the stop for Malioboro Spa, which is just before the stop on your side of the road.

Walk along the street next to the grand mecure, dodge the rats and streetwalkers for 15 mins and hotel Classic on the left.

Before you get to the hotel, on the right is a busy street called jl Pecenongan, it has Emporium club on it (RTFF that), but most importantly some fantastic Indo and Chinese street andresturant food. Google that to your hearts content.

Busway might stop at midnight from memory, so taxi back at that time shouldn't be more than 50,000.

I enter either by either the Spa or Club entrance based on the time of day. Before 7 pm I would advise entering by the Spa to get use of the facilities. The Spa puts on a show at 7 pm by the pools of naked girls. It's a bit of a circus act and demeaning for the girls as a guy who thinks he's directing the traffic blows a whistle loudly and shouts orders at them. If he could get away with it I'm sure he would also have a whip to crack. But the show is fun and you get a good wash, hot jacuzzi and full shave before getting dressed for the dance shows upstairs.

After 9 pm enter by the club as the sauna is closing up. For either venue I would advise everyone admires the humorous artwork on the valet parking walls and inside the club.

Entrance fee for both is Rp100 000 so you are getting something for it with the spa, maybe you get a free drink with the club, I can't remember. Despite what earlier posters commented the prices are not fixed. The girl you choose is free to decide how many drinks you have to buy her. If she needs money, you're a favourable tipper or it's still early the cost can be anything in a multiple of 5 although having said all that I tend to chat to them in Betawi rather than English.

That's because you went to the brothel area. If you go to the club area (2nd entrance just passed the first one, or reachable through the 2nd /3rd floor passing the rooms) you'll find the full naked girls dancing on stage, naked girls giving lap dances and occasionally blowjobs right in the club.
