Went to Malioboro. Got my bracelet at reception on the ground floor and went straight to where the action is on the second floor. When I entered it actually was not exactly as I expected. I was anticipating raucous action with naked or half naked ladies gyrating on stage and on gent's laps but that was not so. Instead I found the place very civilized with a few girls in bikinis dancing delicately on stage and punters sitting at tables chatting with ladies who almost appeared like guests. Make no bones about it though there were many ladies of the night who were absolutely gorgeous. Persons who have described the girls here as amazing are not exaggerating by any means.

The place is absolutely incredible. I was like a kid in a candy store reminiscent of my first sight of Flower Street in a Chang Ping KTV. This place beats any Bangkok soapie hands down for beautiful women. I was immediately approached by a mamasan who escorted me to a seat and called a waiter who took my drinks order. While seated another mamasan joined us which I found a bit odd but it seems as though there is good comraderie here. They both showed me their girls but I wasn't going to choose until I saw all the girls in the place. What I really wanted to do was walk around to get a better view of the ladies. One mamasan left but the other just sat with me trying to make conversation with her very limited English.

It appeared that she was not going to leave and I had no intention of being rude so I asked her to take me to her girls which she did. She said her girls were from 850,000 rupiah to 2,000,000 rupiah for some of her foreign girls (Viets, Chinese, Colombian and Russian). She introduced me to some who were very enticing indeed and I made a mental note of the number of one of the girls (Indonesian) who was tall with ass ets that I crave. I told the mamasan that when I am ready I would choose that one and I walked around the place with her in tow until she decided to leave me to my own devices. I was not overly impressed by the foreign girls, however, one Russian did look like a model and she appeared to really fancy herself.

I anticipated a very poor performance just from her demeanor and level of hotness but was not going to let that deter me. Also many punters had passed her way but no one chose her which I found quite odd. I asked a waiter to locate the mamasan for her group and a few seconds later she came to me and I showed her my choice and I pointed at her directly, she asked me if I wanted the girl seated next to her but I maintained my focus. She called the girl who came up absolutely unenthusiastically, they did what was to be done and I was being escorted to the room by her.

I tried to make small talk but her English was very limited; however, I did try my best to make her laugh with very little success. She was not tall, about 5' 3". She undressed to reveal the absolutely most flawless body and her face was exquisite, attractive yet sexy and alluring; I had indeed made a very good physical choice. We washed and then proceeded to the bed.

First time in Jakarta. I've been reading the forums and haven't been able to find some information.

I prefer taking girls back to my hotel room as I don't like short time / massage rooms.

If I stay at the Sparks, is it possible to order one of their massage girls up to my room?

Also, is it possible to take Travel girls back to my hotel?

My opinion, if you want girls to take back, for overnight or less, then as everyone else mentions CJs, BATS or BlokM is the go.

I would also mention MO's bar on a Tues night (its good on a Tues. Night, horrendous all other nights) , CJs is the best of the best and rocks on a Wed as mentioned already, I love BATS on a Sunday when everything else is quiet and its rockin, and BlokM always good Thu / Fri / Sat.

BUT as they don't really get happening until 11 pm, IF this was me. I'd try my luck elsewhere first for some variety with the plan of always ending up in those above. I don't know your age, budget or interest. For me I like variety for FL's and its great seeing them in their natural habitat.

I would:

- try bars on jalan jaksa, if you like open air bars with cold beer, t-shirt and shorts kinda places.

- try locals bars if you really feel like a low level challenge, dangut bars on Blora or Wahid Hasyim or Arab bars in Cikini.

- try expat sports bars where local girls are looking for a long or short term date, like Eastern Promise on Friday night at the back band area, Aphrodite, Jaya Pub on Fri nights.

- try higher class bars like Loewy, single girls are at the bar. Use your spidey-sense and wear your best Calvins.

These are all options if you want a bit of variety before hitting CJ's etc.

Again. Disclaimer some of these places are low level, boring at times or maybe not even productive for FLs at times, SO don't use them as your only source.

I gave up on Classic a long time ago. I had enjoyed a long and fun-filled afternoon and having a few hours to spare decided to give Classic a last chance.

I got a good-looking girl brought to my table, tall and slim with a nice rack, after a while the conversation was a bit leaden but I kept it going as I couldn't be bothered making the change and because I liked the look of her body.

Having eaten at those steak restaurants in Jakarta for many years, I thought they were fine. Then I come back to the US and went to a place like Ruth's Chris and realized that every steak dinner I ever had in Jakarta was crap.

That being said, the steaks at BATS are about as good as you will find in Jakarta. You can have a nice meal there then wait for the girls to come down the stairs.

Park Lane hotel at Stix restaurant used to have a 50% off steak night every Sunday. I'm not sure if they still have it.

I've had great steak in Bangkok. Must check out BATS.

My vote is for Bats at the Shangrila.

T, I am still in the discovery phase as regards Jakarta. There are still plenty of places I want to check out, but I am in no hurry. So far, I have taken two very nice girls out of Bats and CJ's respectively, but the last 2 times I went to CJ's on a Wednesday and a Thursday night CJ's swamped the best night I ever saw in Bats both in sheer numbers and in quality of girls. I still like Bats, but CJ's on a Wednesday night is amazing. I can't think of a better / hotter 5 star hotel FL pickup bar anywhere in Asia. Brix at the Hyatt in Singapore has equal or higher quality at an even more outrageous price, but Brix is a much smaller bar with probably a third of the girls and Spasso at the Hyatt in BKK is a joke compared to CJ's. So I am a big CJ's fan.

The 2nd to last night I was in Jakarta, I met a very attractive part time FL girl at CJ's. I liked her so much that I took her and her best girl friend out to dinner the next night. The girl friend was an amateur who worked in the medical profession. She took pride in ownership, driving us around Jakarta in her new red Honda. I paid for dinner and then drinks later at CJ's where the three of us spent the night dancing. Around 3 am the friend drove us back to my hotel. I filled her tank up with gas. My girl and I spent the rest of the night shagging bareback and cuddling. Around 8 am she had to leave for work. In terms of food I suspect I'm going to have some problems here; although I like to sample the local fare I depend heavily on my staples viz steak / ribs, potatoes, beans, mushrooms etc. I have long jettisoned fast foods like hamburgers and chicken and fries, I avoid these foods and these are ubiquitous in Jakarta but good ribs and steak are nowhere to be seen.
