Reading the Jakarta reports it seems at Alexis Hotel, Classic Hotel & Malioboro Hotel each session with a girl only includes "1 shot" which is very similar to Macau saunas. In China though, most "sauna" type places allow for 2-3 shots as long as you can finish within the 60-90 mins.

Has anyone had experience negotiating a slightly higher price for 2 shots at Malioboro, Alexis, etc?

Or for 2 shots is the only option with a freelancer LT situation?

Unless you somehow reach a deal privately with the girl it's only 1 shot. There's no 2 shots at Malioboro, Alexis etc.

Last night I brought a girl home from CJ's. She insisted on payment upfront, which I refused. She then says it's the new system now and all of them will start doing the same. I told her to fuck off but she wouldn't go unless I gave her 100 k. It ended up with her breaking a bunch of things in my apartment and me giving her a good slapping until a bunch of cops came over to my place trying to extort money through bogus charges she made (which failed, in case you're wondering).

This autocorrect is an option of the forum platform. I think it should be disabled (humble suggestion to Jackson).

Not only is it an option: it is an editable option and the editor of this forum has chosen to act as an old fashioned English teacher and added a lot of "rules" to prevent SMS type posts resulting in a total overkill.

I posted a proposal in the designated forum two years ago, but no reaction from the editor. This proposal showed how the "Text Cleanup Script" garbles well written text.

Every time I post a report, I must go back and EDIT it, to clean it up, fix carriage returns, write emoticons and smileys (all removed by the autocorrect). Only after the edit fix the report looks how I wished.

It's totally unreasonable to be expecting payment upfront (guaranteed recipe for poor service and rushing attitude).

If the girl asked for the money up front, I'd do exactly as you did and send her packing. Paying up front is the norm at the cheaper brothels up north, but as you mentioned, you have the mamasan you can talk to if the girl is not to your liking and she will allow you to switch out the girl. I would never pay a free lancer up front. Not in Indonesia or Thailand.

As far as her asking for 100k taxi money, I think you did the right thing not giving it to her. I would have told her "if you had mentioned in the bar that you wanted the money up front, then I would not have taken you home. It's your own fault that we are not doing business, so I'm not paying your taxi." She knows damn well it's not the norm to ask for the money up front in Jakarta. I give them taxi money when we don't follow through with sex for things that are not the girl's fault, but not if it's their fault. Maybe next time she will be more honest in the bar. A few more customers like you who stand up to her and she will stop asking for money up front.

I get the feeling we as foreigners are spoiling them. Guys, you should stop spoiling them and making them feel as though we're their little puppies. This is Indonesia after all. I've noticed when I've been writing reports in recent times that the word wrap doesn't work and so you just get one long line of text that goes of the side off the screen and makes it difficult to see what you've written. Perhaps this is why the 'hard return' has been used?

One thing I haven't found is a map or list of regions or addresses for someone who doesn't know Jakarta. Classic? BATS? CJ's? Blok M? Has anyone.

Found (or bothered to make) a map or a list of locations by region / address? Would certainly be helpful to know the layout before choosing a hotel.

I don't know Fisherman, but JAD also has that kind of info (if he's still making such arrangements). I don't do those type of hook ups personally, but I do know local "talent agents" who take care of that kind of thing. There are also other web sites that are in Bahasa that specifically list those type of girls. The prices are not cheap. Which girls are in you interested in? If you are just interested in any model or artist, that is very easy to arrange. If you want Jupe or Luna Maya, that's not so easy.

Came across JADs site looks like he is still active will try with him. Not really trust web sites but can you refer me to the "talent agents" you know? Money not an issue as long as can get regular face you see on TV or magazines, no necessarily Luna-Jupe level.

Some years ago I was in Kalimantan for work and since everybody on the project went home for Idul Fitri and all work ceased we poor westerners decided it would be prudent to spend that period in Jakarta. It was a unique experience. Nearly empty roads, much to the delight of the taxi drivers, and clear skies. From the 10th floor of my hotel I could clearly see the mountains South of Jakarta, which normally is impossible due to the smog.

When I earlier suggested it would take a very long time to get anywhere in Jakarta this week, I was recalling that on or around Idul Fitri there were massive traffic jams in Jakarta a few years ago. Maybe it was another day close to the end of Ramadan and not Idul Fitri precisely, but in any event it was explained to me that everyone was out shopping for the end of Ramadan. The most horrendous traffic I ever saw in Jakarta or anywhere else.

So when Smoothy commented the traffic would be great these days, I thought he was being facetious and that is why I responded earlier the way I did.
