You can get some of them for a cool million if it's near closing time and they haven't done a trick yet or if the rent needs to be paid the following day.

Jakarta has always been a buyer's market. Same goes for BATS by the way. Oh, and don't tell them it's your first time in Indonesia or that you're a business traveler.

I'm no fan of CJ's. The married man's swinger club, the "dj" only plays pre mixed Guetta, most of the male singers have been chosen for their looks and ability to please the cougars after the set is finished, not their vocals. The humourless tall China dolls / mannequins perched in a row as you walk from one bar to another are particularly creepy.

But I do respect that we all need to scratch a living. I spoke to Loopy Lou one of the bouncy manado girls about the going rate (at a hairdressers where she also models), and she confirmed 1. 5 m is the fixed rate. She pointed out she spends 2 x RP100 000 on Taxi's, RP 180 000 on entrance fee and probably about Rp 200 000 on hair styling, new dresses and makeup per visit.

So 1. 5 m is a reasonable and fair figure to agree to in the current climate.

If you don't speak any Indonesian or dialects it is quite clear you are a new arrival or business traveller, so like everything in life it is easier to stick to the truth.

Summary of my experience in Jakarta:


1. FL scene in Jakarta was nonexistent or at least I didn't come across any good ones. I had to hang up my gun on the wall during these 5 days. There was simply no game to hunt.

2. The spa scene is good for a single visit but I don't see myself going back to Jakarta again only to meet girls in spa or massage parlour. It's like shooting chicken in a pen with a bazooka.

3. There needs to be something done about the lighting in Discos. I still cannot understand why every place is Pitch Dark.

4. Malio Club had the best looking girls I have come across in entire Jakarta. Request if some member can help me know the MO of enjoying their company. I would definitely return soon if I can take these girls to bed. Don't mind paying 2 Mill ST.

5. Local food in Jakarta is something I didn't try. I am very comfortable with street food in Thailand and even tried in Philippines but couldn't dare to in Jakarta. Maybe I need to do some reading if I am going to visit again.

6. CJs and BATS were a big letdown like Kartika. Maybe the good days for these places are over or they are going through real tough times.

7. Social media app scene was also very poor compared to Philippines or Thailand.

8. There is not much of a price advantage compared to Thailand or Philippines It all added up in the end.

9. I got a mix of CBJ and BBBJ in the sessions I had unlike Philippines where I completely enjoyed BBBJ and liked it. DFK was also not assured in all session. Never tried Greek so cannot comment on that.

10. I felt that local language would have been an advantage while picking up local girls in Discos. I found the non or semi pro girls slightly reserved towards foreigners.

11. 8 out of 10 blue bird guys never gave change back to me. So much for honesty. I can only imagine how bad other operators might be.

12. I had read well and had planned my trips to avoid traffic jam and was quite successful in doing so on ground.

13. I couldn't make it to Blok M this time. I sure will if I return.

14. Girl tantrums were existent. I found girls to be more hardcore or pro comparatively maybe because these places have girls with that kind of behavior.

15. I would not recommend Jakarta as a repeat destination just basis of my single 5 day visit. My schedule is blocked in the current year till December with repeat visit to Philippines and Thailand. If time permits I might plan a visit early next year post reading on ISG thread about how the scene is on ground. I would definitely not come back purely to bed girls in the spa or massage parlours, Thailand is much better in comparison for that.

May 7 (Day 14: Thursday)

Started my day with breakfast as usual at Dunkins, did some social app browsing. I have been seeing massage ads a lot on WeChat so decided to give it a try for in call. I zeroed in on Naura Massage. I as am lucky that she left with a 20 k note. I vowed to myself that I would never get anyone directly to my room henceforth. It took me a good hour and couple of smokes to come out of the setback.

I had thought about going to Kings cross but had not found much reviews on ISG before my trip. I searched online to see if anyone had posted any FRs on web. I could only check feedback on jakarta100 bars and it was not positive. I was also getting constant messages from Siskaa at Malioboro to visit her again. But who repeats a girl unless it's a 9/10. I has done Alexis twice and was not too keen on going back to Classic either. I googled for feedback on Fashion, Emporium and many other spas but nothing was too positive. I decided to go to Classic instead and thought will check the 5th floor.

Hotel Classic (5th Floor)


I reached Classic around 6. 30 pm. I took the lift directly to 5th floor. I got my token and walked in. The customer area to the right was completely deserted with barely 2 or 3 people. The girls seating area had approx. 40 odd women and I could definitely select one for the evening. I took a seat. A Mamasan immediately came to me and asked me which girl I liked. I took Blue Bird to Cjs and reached around 11.00 pm. Paid in the 200 k entry drink fee. As soon as I entered I could see the same crowd that I had seen earlier night. I tried to look for Riska but she was nowhere to be seen. I took my beer and did circle the place for some time scouting for potential company. CJs had let me down again. I simply couldn't find anyone interesting enough to pay 2 or 3 Mill for LT. I decided to get out so walked and stood near the bar on the left of entrance for a smoke. One girl approached me and started chatting. As soon as I mentioned that I was staying in Kota she withdrew and walked away. I thought maybe I should go back to Kota and visit Colosseum or Golden crown.

As usual breakfast at Dunkin and wasted some time on social apps. I got some responses but nothing interesting. Quite surprising that when you message someone looking at her single pic one day makes you lose interest in her if she had changed her pic and is no longer that attractive. I spend some time but nothing concrete. I used Badoo, Tagged, Tango, Wechat, Skout, etc all apps I had installed.

I walked upto the DJ and then back checking if anything was available. There were some really beautiful women but in groups or accompanied by guys. Now when I say Malioboro is my current favorite bordello in South East Asia, I am not kidding. I believe that the Vietnamese girls are either 1. 8 million or 2. 2 million now (at least it was the last time I took one, as well as the other imports). Although someone told me they heard the price was 2.8 for some of the girls there now, so I'm not certain if it has increased. The dancers used to only be 1. 2 million, but I haven't taken on in over 5 years, so I'd guess 2 million is about right. I also like the lap dances with the girls, and normally get my fair share while I am there. At 50,000 a dance and the girls only spending a minute or two with you before asking for another 50,000, that can add up as well. If you don't mind spending 300 usd for the evening, Malioboro is a very good choice. Alexis is a bit nicer, but then you are talking closer to 500 usd by the time you leave. So I think Alexis is a bit too expensive. I also think that Alexis is more stale than Malioboro since I like watching the sexy dancers at Malio. The only reason I prefer Kings Cross over Malioboro is that it's cheaper. If they were the same price, Malioboro is better than KC.

However, if you have the impression that the girls in Malioboro are any hotter than the girls in Bangkok for the same price, I'm not sure that's accurate. In Bangkok, I actually prefer more down market than Malioboro because I think the quality and comfort of the downmarket places in Bangkok is better than in Jakarta. However, I've had some Thai guys from the office take me to some places in Bangkok where the girls are absolutely stunning. Supposedly the girls are "models" in sexy magazines like penthouse or something. They are very very nice, but they cost around 5 to 8,000 baht. I agree that those places in Bangkok with the stunners are not as fun as Malioboro though. Malioboro has similar ambience of Soi Cowboy dancers in the dancing area, along with nice rooms upstairs. Those nicer places in Bangkok, the girls just sit there in nice dresses, there are no sexy dancers. And there are some stunners in Malioboro and Alexis as well.

In Jakarta, if I had my choice of any of them for the same price, I would choose the Vietnamese chicks at Alexis. But then again, that ends up being 500 usd by the time I pay for the girl, drinks, tax and tip.
