Just arrived this week and have a quick few tips about the airport experience I wish I knew beforehand. Make sure to bring CASH with you for the Visa on Arrival. I read online they accept credit cards but they were not when I arrived. The cost is 500,000 idr or 35 usd. There is an ATM but of course it was completely out of cash and I saw many travelers scrambling to ask the airport staff who were just as clueless (and a bit apathetic) as to what to do. Luckily the VoA people accept US dollars as well. Just hand them your passport and they will give you a VoA ticket that you take to the immigration officers who stamp your passport. It's good for 30 days and you are able to extend it for another 30 days later if you'd like.

Also, make sure to fill out your customs form online and it will give you a barcode. I recommend doing this the day before your flight, as you are allowed to do it up to 24 hours before you arrive. There is a QR code at the airport that brings you to the website, but I could not get the website to load at the airport using the airport wifi. Luckily my phone had international roaming data and the website would work using that internet but not the airport wifi. Go figure.

I tried to do the e-visa online but could not get the website to accept it for me. You have to upload both a digital passport photo and a photo of your passport page. I was finally able to upload both successfully, but it kept giving me an error saying my passport photo did not match the photo on my actual passport, which to be fair was taken almost 8 years ago now. But whatever facial recognition software they use would not accept it. The visa on arrival was painless for me though, it took a 5 minute wait in line and 30 seconds at the window so that was fortunate. The immigration line to get your passport stamped was a bit longer though, about 8 people in front of me took maybe 20 minutes or so. Then get your checked bags and wait in the customs line for another maybe 10 or 15 minutes. This was at 5 pm on a weekday, I imagine Mondays and Fridays would be worse.

I used the grab app to get to my hotel in Central Jakarta, it cost about 180,000 idr at 5 pm. Also I got a local sim card at the airport arrivals area. It cost 260,000 idr for supposedly "14 GB" for 1 month, but when I got back to my hotel I think I only have 8 GB. Maybe it's how they earn their cut or a straight up scam. But I would still do it again, as it seemed quite a hassle to get a SIM card here, they had to register it with the cell phone provider and verify the SIM card with my passport. It took about 10 minutes and they do everything for you, put in the sim card, test it for you to make sure it works, registration, etc.

One other thing, I read online Indonesia requires proof of onward travel. I bought a refundable ticket online just in case even though I had no set date of leaving yet. I've been asked for it before when traveling to other countries that require this, but this time no one asked to see it. The only semblance of the proof of onward travel rule was the immigration office asked me how long I planned to stay in Indonesia. But he never asked to see my plane ticket but maybe it was already in their system somehow. Once I got to my hotel I made sure to cancel my ticket for a full refund. If you buy a ticket to or from the USA there is a 24 hour rule that by law the airline has to refund your ticket if you purchase it at least a week in advance.

Quick question for the more experienced mongers here: what is a fair price from dating app girls to come see you? I've been using badoo and tantan to some success already, but strangely enough I have not had a single match on tinder but I think the app is not letting me like profiles for some reason. Anyways, one girl said she would stay all night until the next morning, and one girl said she can only stay for a few hours but is willing to have sex 2 times during our meeting. Two girls for 500 K for 90 minutes. 19 and 20 years old, good natured and cooperative, both from Bogor, slender and pretty. Really a remarkable deal.

I'll try not to talk about myself (it's a boring topic anyway OS) and stick to some info updates, with a bit of focus on the pre and post covid world of Jakarta. Done a few visits post covid, another coming up.

A definite change has occurred in attitude and access after covid. One notable point was the loss of past long term reliable providers to marriages in order to survive during the pandemic. One major PITA but also majorly enjoyable contact got married and is now kampung forever hope that hubby enjoys doggie, it's a fantastic sight. Another married off but returned partially due to funding requirements but apparently it's too hard to find customers now. Also noteworthy is these providers were all tinder based, and focused on bule. Locals ignored. Locals also won't pay the rate either. Also 'managed' by a handler who did the tinder profiles etc, but that's another story.

Speaking of the socials, that's still a decent source, but way more work and luck required if you are older and seeking younger. Pre-covid it was the literal don't even fire the gun the fish will jump out of the barrel. Now I can't recall a meet up response below 25 (I'm not near 25 BTW) in the last few years. Good responses received and met but more trawling required. So if you want young, dumb and full of your cum, it's off to the 'hotels'.

That means Classic, Travel etc etc. For various reasons, my point of reference pre-covid was FM7 near Central Park next to the tollway to the airport. Much fun has been had there cheaply with young girls mostly willing to do things I requested (extra trip does help. Not breaking the bank tips either). That isn't convenient anymore (I'm not sure it is even open, hard to tell), and so for the first time in maybe 10 years I hit up Classic earlier this year.

What I found in Classic was:

Mamasans are quite possibly the shiftiest, nastiest pieces of work in existence. Used car salesmen (it's always men eh?) appear saintly in comparison. No that girl not available (cause it's not one of mine), tip me to talk to you, offence when you turn down the worst girl in the place they foist on you, and one other trick that has been mentioned but not detected as a trick here: pay Mami cash, don't put the girl on your bracelet number. No, don't do that, cause if you keep doing it and never put a girl on your number, you're up for the 350 k or so entry charge for not indulging when you go to settle. Pretty sure Mami avoids losing a small cut to the bar too. I insisted to put it on the number, they whined and lied saying cannot, but it ended up on there so I paid at the counter on the way out for all girls. And paid just for the room sessions as a result.

The girls are as good as you are going to find anywhere, if you are looking for cute, pretty, teenage or early 20's sexy girls. Out of three girls (one taken twice too) all had no babies, had great bodies, were persuadable (that's never going on there babe, can we come to an arrangement more tip? Literally hehe) and no starfish. The repeat had the most incredible breasts I think I have seen (and thanks to Indonesia, I've seen heaps). For 350 k plus tip of 200 k to 350 k (told you they could be persuaded) you're not going to find a better combo consistently. No I can't remember their names (pretty sure the repeat had a different name too on second go). Ok I recall one name, because I have her whatsapp, which basically presents opportunities for her to plead for money for everything. Will see if it also can result in a hotel visit pre her shift soon, or a request to just drop by Classic.

Travel likely also ok (also a decade or so when I last visited, but I did regular visits 15-20 years ago which moved from super fun to annoying) as well as places along / near Mangga Besar. Much fun has been had here, but most of it was a long time ago. Today Country (RIP) you are sorely missed, but never, ever, ever forgotten.

Apart from a brief mention of the impact of Onlyfans / send video for fee impact, which took a really fun reliable sexy girl pre-covid to a scamming / whining 'send me taxi money to get to you and then never show' kinda girl (and she's not alone in that 'progression') we're onto the no. 1 place bules meet ceweks: CJs and BATS.

I've been attending these places for two decades now. So have a lot of the 'girls' who can be found there these days. There are some attractive ones, but they are few and far between, and in their 30's. I have met one in her 20's there pre-covid, who has moved from not cheap but really worthwhile for staying over, to more expensive but now short time if she can be prised from the Asian clientele who tend to dominate CJs these days. 3. 5 juta seems to be the rate (these girls make cartels seem amateurish) and that's short time which I found out taking a pretty mid 30's girl who pointed it out post negotiation (when I'm thinking long time). 2 juta also possible for the occasional visitor, and 1. 5 juta from BATS when I said I wasn't actually looking for someone but she thought I was fun. Gave me something to do in the morning anyway boom boom!

BATS incidentally is more bule, more ibu ibu too unfortunately. For those who haven't heard of Google Translate, ibu is typically on the high side of MILF, approaching GILF.

Compare 3. 5 juta (ok, 3,500 k) short time in your hotel (plus drinks and oh boy do you know about the drink prices at CJs) for a mid 30's attractive MILF, vs 700 k for ST room plus high end tip for a teenage girl with a body and face that isn't out of place in the model (or porn) world over at classic (or FM7, or Travel).

Finally blok M. Apart from My Bar at 3 am, don't bother. Last resort even then. Same girls pretty much as EP. If you score one at EP, you'll end up at My Bar anyway. EP = Eastern Promise. Lots of promise, not much delivery.

And pricing. Based on hazy memory, I tried lining up what I used to pay 15 years ago vs what I pay now, accounting for FX and inflation. The quick adjusted result is: classic, travel etc have become cheaper, CJs / Bats / freelancers have become rather expensive.

Speaking of price: apart from tips at Classic, all payments to girls were electronic. Straight from Wise to their bank (BCA typically). Helps in gaining real names / numbers / emails etc. You're also exposed, but I don't care. You may. Finding ATMs and pulling out stupid amounts of cash has got old.

It looks like a street with 10+ bars such as New Dinasty, New Ale Ale, Dream Bar, Atlantik. From the moto Vlogs on youtube, New Dinasty has about 20+ girls sitting on the outside.

Does anyone know how much is it and how to play here? I've scoured all the english and indo forums and nothing comes up.

Hi, for me its my first time in Jakarta and I like the (hopefully) uncomplicated idea of the classic hotel / spa / brothel whatever.

I tried to read the posts before, but I'm still not getting the whole picture.

Does it makes sence to book a room there? Is it possible to order the girls to my own room without sitting in the club areas?

Because maybe its a bit too much for me all, at my first time doing something like that.

Download a picture to your phone to get past any language barriers. I have managed to get from the big chain pharmacies as well, but have also been knocked back from the same.
