Not sure if you are extremely lucky but from my experience:

1) No in room spa available in both of these hotels anymore.

Take the train to Tanjung Priok station, get an ojek to take you Cilincing and Jalan Inspeksi Cakung drain. Follow this track South until you have a cemetery on your right. Jutting into the cemetery is Rawa Malang. You can fornicate away amongst the cumulative layers of Jakarta's dead. Remember! If it's got ducks, It's the real thing.

SIM cards are easy to get at the airport, and also many small phone shops can sell you a sim that is already registered, you are correct getting a sim card at grabari can be a long wait, but having data everywhere is so useful.

You're meaning that without registering the IMEI, you can use those SIM cards in your foreign mobile phone?

I have a registered SIM card but I can't use it in my foreign mobile phone only on my Indonesian one.

Overall. Go with the Flow. Seems the scene is very spread out but the same places are mentioned over and over. And me? I never even made it to any clubs like Classic in 2019 - I exclusively used Tinder / TanTan. But fast forward to late 2023 and I am wanting more of a 'point and shoot' experience. There are a few other clubs in Kelapa gading worth a look as well as kings cross. Check out Sumo, Permata, MTR 2 and not far away by taxi there is the'heaven, groovy, pablo's, blowart.

Near the bars in Kota indah check out Demomo and Halte spa.

I like to visit kota indah about 5 pm most girls are in and the bars are not so busy or loud.

Medika can be good some evenings, and fashion hotel is also interesting for a spa with girls, the girls will also go to the pools / sauna with you if you make a booking with them.

Michat is what you want not wechat, its tricky to install on foreign phones but lots of selection on nights / afternoons you don't want to go out, but a lot of bait and switch, try to video chat the girl to make sure she matches the photos.

The Sotis Falatehan Hotel is located quite near to My Bar. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I brought three girls to the hotel and the guards just waved me through. No one was manning the check-in desk due to the late hour of my conquests, as I returned to the hotel well after midnight. No prior arrangements were made with management. I cannot speak for policies at other hotels, but I have a feeling the Jakarta police department probably reserves their officers for higher priority tasks than dealing with late night horny foreigners.

As expected, My Bar on the weekend after 11 pm was packed with both male / female customers and a fair number of apparent doable freelancers, with very few vacant seats. There's a sign inside that advertises sexy dancers on Friday and Saturday nights. Unfortunately there were no performers on Friday, but Saturday found four spinners dressed in sexy French maid outfits gyrating on the stage and on the counters for short performances, staying fully clothed. I was asked about the reason for my visit and length of stay.

I have only been asked for this once on my many trips. I was a bit surprised I was asked. Since it was only a border run from Thailand I had one. I'm guessing it's totally random.

Just arrived this week and have a quick few tips about the airport experience I wish I knew beforehand. Make sure to bring CASH with you for the Visa on Arrival. I read online they accept credit cards but they were not when I arrived. The cost is 500,000 idr or 35 usd. There is an ATM but of course it was completely out of cash and I saw many travelers scrambling to ask the airport staff who were just as clueless (and a bit apathetic) as to what to do. Luckily the VoA people accept US dollars as well. Just hand them your passport and they will give you a VoA ticket that you take to the immigration officers who stamp your passport. It's good for 30 days and you are able to extend it for another 30 days later if you'd like. <snip>

One other thing, I read online Indonesia requires proof of onward travel. I bought a refundable ticket online just in case even though I had no set date of leaving yet. I've been asked for it before when traveling to other countries that require this, but this time no one asked to see it. <snip>

Quick question for the more experienced mongers here: what is a fair price from dating app girls to come see you? Get along and ST more often than not ends up LT. Glad I'm not the only one finding Tinder a hard road. Still results, but more like 1 in 20 or 30 mid late 20's, 1 in 10 in 30's, and 1 in 50 or more below mid 20's. Bumble also ok, badoo too, not tried tan tan, better try getting wechat back, and there's a few others. Getting gold so you can move locations and preload also saves time. The moment data is established at airport, to arrival in room is a literal swipe fest. I have a sore finger by the time I get to a hotel.

The LT girl asked for 2 juta, ready at 8 pm after she got off her waitress job but she left this morning around 7 am for work and wasn't up for a middle of the night 4 am quickie. Not a great body either, I'd only give her a strong 6 maybe, just average compared to the smokeshows at classic. Like MShanchez I could not get the E-VOA webpage to work. It took my photo's and then kept timing out. The Captcha thing would say I needed to Verify again. I noticed the Zip code was wrong and I had no idea what Provence to enter. So I tried another session by using Google maps and entered the whole formal addresses of hotel and it populated everything. Then it would not save and go to payment. I tried over 45 minutes with my info trying to get it to process. No errors. Just timed out. Then I decided to do it all over again on a different computer. But keeping my old session online.

Then I found the Secret! - MAKE AN ACCOUNT FIRST. See the system allows you to go straight to VOA / Tourist 30 Days. But if you start at the main Indonesian immigration site and "sign up" it will ask all the passport questions, let you load a picture. Then after email verification. You can simply Buy the Visa you need. So I think you need to have a verified email or an account first setup then it will go smoothly. It does take you to a 3rd party credit card processor (Finpay) - and my credit card provider Texted me an alert to accept or report as fraud. So watch out for that text alert too.
