I barebacked all the time while I was in Indonesia last time. I am not rich nor a rich local guy. Just pleasant, dress well and treat women with respect. Did not take much smooth talking or extra cash.

    Request

    Hello everyone,

Not just if this is the right topic to post this kind of request, if not please redirect.

In a month ill be moving to Jakarta for an internship for at least 6 months. And reading this topic made me really interested in the sex scene there. But this topic is also somewhat confusing. There's no summary of where to go and what the prices are. I like to go there prepared so there for this question. I know that there's a lot of information to be found on this topic but there is also a lot of old information and prices that have been going up the last few years.

Can anybody help me with an overall summary of the prostitution possibilities in Jakarta? I am Dutch so I know my money is worth more over there, but yet I am still a intern, so expensive clubs where I have to pay 4 million for a girl are a little bit overpriced for me.

    - What are the cheapest options?

    - Are there places where me being a 25 year old white male, who's good looking take down the price a little?

    - Are there places I can go for just a quickly? (with a "quickly price") I've done the math and for me 500.000 for good service for at least an hour is a good price.

    - Maybe some additional hotel names?

Sorry if this request is misplaced here, I am new to this site, and new to the prostitution game in general.

    I thank you all.

    Tinder

Been using Tinder and adding girls to my "Jakarta" group on Facebook. By the time I go I should have 50-100 girls on the list. Already at 30 some from just 2 weeks of use.

Actually, he did post in every report pictures: I have seen his girl from BATS posted here, from Malioboro, and in places outside Jakarta. So, if you want to see them, check out his reports. .

Including the rich local guys who go to Malioboro? I was always wondering about this, do they get "preferential treatment" and don't use condoms with the Indonesian dancers there?

Not trying to give my own opinion here- just highlighting to fellow mongers, as this will change the scene somewhat if it ever passes (or in what form it passes).

FYI. If colleagues here didn't know, alcohol sales was banned in ALL mini-marts (including Bali) this month.

And condom sales were banned in Surabaya to unmarried people. Or so I've heard.

"A priority bill initiated by the House of Representatives has proposed banning all consumption of alcoholic beverages, with imprisonment of between three months and two years for anyone caught consuming alcohol.

The bill on the prohibition of alcoholic beverages, a copy of which has been obtained by The Jakarta Post, will put in place a ban on the sale, production, distribution and consumption of all beverages containing more than 1 percent alcohol.

A meeting of lawmakers in the House Legislation Body (Baleg) on Monday approved the progress of the bill's deliberation to the next stage where lawmakers are set to ensure clauses in the bill do not contravene existing laws."

What a bunch of dimwits. According to the article:

"Under the explanation section, the bill argues that 58 percent of criminal activities are due to the influence of alcohol, although it cited no scientific studies to back up this claim.

"Alcohol is also cited in the bill for causing memory loss, dementia, Alzheimer's, schizophrenia and other types of brain ailments. ".

Actually, scientific evidence is rapidly accumulating that moderate drinking, particularly of red wine, may significantly lower the risk of dementia and Alzheimer's as well as cardiovascular and other diseases. Yeah, if you become an alcoholic your health is put at risk, but probably not more so than from smoking the still-legal-in-Indonesia cigarettes (Indonesia having the highest rate of cigarette smoking among males in the world).

As to the claim that 58 percent of criminal activities are due to the influence of alcohol, I guess that means all those cops and government officials who solicit bribes (which to my mind probably represents a majority of all criminal acts in Indonesia) are drunkards. Isn't it nice to know that once this bill is passed, Indonesia's culture of criminal corruption will come to an end.

    Kalijodo apparent closure

Ahok announced in November last year Kalijodo would be closing soon. Similar to Dolly in SBY.

I was in Kalijodo Saturday afternoon, this wasnt a mongering visit for. Just having a stroll and a bo-peep, as I was nearby at Taman Angrekk.

Seems to me the place is still very much alive and kicking with the usual type of dodgy crowd, usual activities. (quieter of course as it was late arvo).

So I am not sure when it will close, but it hasnt yet!

They've been calling me Bule Basi for about 10 years now. However, I don't think that's the problem in this case. I hadn't taken a girl from BATS in quite a while and I didn't recognize any of the girls there. They don't know me as bule basi at the moment. One girl did mention to me that I had a reputation of going there and just drinking then leaving alone. That was a combination of the fact that I had a live in girlfriend for a few years, so when I did go, I wasn't able to take one home. And then the previous few times I wasn't willing to part with so much money. (When I first came to Jakarta, I don't think there was even one remotely attractive girl in the bar I hadn't shagged, so to say I just drink there is pretty funny these days.) I simply think the price is now 1. 5 million as the standard. If you wait until closing time, you may be able to get cheaper because the girl's options become limited at that point. However, by that time, all of the best girls should be gone. The girls are not allowed by BATS management to re-enter BATS that night after they have already left the bar for a short time, so the hot ones are not making multiple runs anymore. That may also have something to do with the increased price.

Bats and / or CJs have become my mongering nemesis. I think I've got a strike rate of 0 out of the 4 past visits. The girls there (confused which is which as the same girls frequent both) only want to pull with new timers. I guess Smoothy you suffer form the same dilemma as I do, should you let on you've been in and our of town for a long tiime and can understand what the girls are talking about.

I've gone in and even tried my best to only speak English, ask dumb questions, get quotes in dollars etc. One time managed to get a really attractive 20 year old to agree to leave with me, got up the stairs and one of the security guards casually said a pleasent goodbye in Batak and I stupidly replied in Batak without thinking.

Well, I now know how Richard Attenborough's character felt like in the Great Escape when he was caught by the German's at the train station. The girl I was with litterly froze and refused to go with me, despite the $100 leaving sweetener agreed. She said fairly politely that going with me would be like going with one of her family.

It's really become an issue for me, so nowdays when visiting Jakarta I bring along tshirts and miniature perfumes from branded stores in Europe for presents for the girls. Withe the result that my pulls on they way home and texting their friends, that they have left safely can also say the old timers aren't that bad.

North Jakarta isn't an issue so places like Kings Cross and Empornium are now my favourites but they don't always have the same chase and trap feeling you can sometimes get from Bats / CJ's or even out the blue in a mall or on the trains.

One spot where there is OFTEN police checks is near the Karet cemetery, just along the road of the Shangri La Hotel. The checks there are so frequent that I often used to take a long way home, going along Sudirman instead, to avoid them. Not that they were much trouble if you had ID on you, but it was just the hassle factor.

    Thanks.

Thanks Smoothy for the intel. This will definitely help in negotiations.

.................. Gone are the days of 500 K for a stunner. But with the taxi fares and entrance fee, these girls are paying at least 250 k just to visit these places, so it makes sense.
