So, tried Tuesday night at MO Bar.

About this I can only categorically say that there is a 'far' higher quality of women running around. Most of them really just wanted some fun, some wanted 'long-term', and only a few just wanted taxi fare (100 k) as a form of compensation. I was perhaps a tad too brash / direct in asking them if they were pelacur (I don't like beating around the Bush) and did scare a few off but those that stayed seem keen. The night was even such that when I already had more than enough woman to shake a stick at I was still nudged on my way to pay the bill by other things.

Might have something to do with me being young and tall, but it was a fucking welcome experience regardless. Kudos to the man that found out about ladies night at MO Bar. If anyone knows more like this that'd be brilliant.

I'm posting this more to express enjoyment at a specific part of the mongering scene that seems to fit my bill (half-way between straight pay-for-play and women who are interested in bule).

I did try red square but the two times I went it was literally standing room only and no real capacity to sit and enjoy / scan the scene. May try immigrant / X2 next. Thanks for that Smoothy.

Today I explored the area, heard there was 3 full service massage places.

The don't have photos on site but can choose girls from their website, the place is a bit hard to find, total cost for plus plus massage was quoted as 500 ish, can't choose girl from line up have to look at website and record number.

Monday I moved over to the Kalpa Gading area stayed at BnB hotel 430 k, first I went to Sumo massage, was told there was two category the 450 k and the 950 k range, definately some lookers in the 950 k range and 1 possible in the 450 k range however I don't partake, next I went to MTR2, the standard girls was 330 k, the freelancers was 500 k, some lookers in the 500 k range, but I spotted a new gem in the 330 k cat, she is new, 20 yrs old slim and tall, in the bedroom, BBBJ, GFE kissing and daty. Cost 330 k plus my drink 30 k + tips 100 k however she didn't ask for a tip. Total 460 k.

I then went to Kings Cross, 60 k cover charge before 7 pm after its 75 k refundable if taking a girl. Next I went to level 2 which is the massage rooms plenty of attractive girls in the 500 kish price. The 3rd level with the dancers the LD are 50 k each, 2 LDs and you get a quick lapdance, in my view not worth it, the dancers are 1.2 j pretty hot but not sure if they worth 4 times the 335 k girls, same with the import girls thereabouts 1.2 j but they looked pretty average to me, def not worth the price. End of the night drinks+ meals + cover charge 300 k as I didn't take a girl.

I arrived in Jakarta on a Sunday, stay at Win hotel in blok M area 405 k stardard room. I wanted to follow in the footsteps of a gentleman who was quite successful hunting at Blok M Plaza, all I can say is kudos to him as he succeeded where I failed miserably. I went to the mall at 5-6 pm and I didn't see many attractive women, further I didn't see any that seemed to be on the "game" with the circling behaviour seen in the Phil. So after 1-2 hrs I gave up. If he can give some extra pointers like time and days best for hunting that would be appreciated. Next I Checked out the's and Top Gun, this was around 9 pm, the talent was terrible mainly oldies or fatties, maybe all up 10-12 ladies, beers were 50 k each, had one in each bar, no dancers at the's. Also stuck my head into My Place, Everest, Sportsman, seems the only guys there were the owners and their friends def no ladies.

I was told Sundays X2 is closed so I went to Red Square, again totally dead, 3 guys no ladies and a drink was 150 k, quite expensive. I was told if you are young and tall, you should do quite well here as the ladies throw themselves as such men, I am slighty above averqge in age, height and looks, so I don't know if I fit the description but at 150 k a drink, I wonder if my total costs for scoring a lady would be under what I would pay for a lady outright, even if I was "tall" and "young".

Next I went to Cj, again 140 k for a beer, saw plenty of attractive ladies but nothing outstanding, and they were in the mid to late 20's range, but also plenty of average looking ladies also, but talling to one of the patrons he told me he just negotiated with one of the better looking women and she wanted 1.5 J Short time, no willing to drop, this was about 1 pm. I mainly went for observational purposes, so end of might spent 500 k in drinks and taxi with no results.

I was planning on my maiden trip to Jakarta from June 28th to July 1st. I just found out that will be the start of Ramadan. Are all of the venues going to be closed? I am looking to try spas like Travel and classic as well as some if the mid range bars near Blok M. I need to figure out if I should postpone for a visit letter in the year.

If you are young and tall, you are wasting your time at places like Top Gun with those kampung girls. Go to X2 at Plaza Senayan, Immigrant at plaza indonesia or DragonFly or even Red Square. Those girls will throw themselves at a tall young guy, they speak English, and they are far better looking.

So, gave Top Gun and the's a whizz.

Personally I found a lot of the girls in Top Gun oddly cold. Standing against the wall and not really engaging in much eye contact; most looked bored. However in saying that there were some serious gems (energetic and pretty to boot), which of course were snapped up pretty damn quick.

Went over to the's (apparently they do some sort of card raffle thing for a free visit to the back room? Didn't quite follow) and oddly enough I found the girls far sluttier / active in general. I got cornered by someone to the VIP room I actually was rather keen on but then three of her friends wanted to 'stand guard' and that put me off, asked for a little more privacy and that apparently started some bitching between the girls so I had to leave.

Went back to Top Gun (these two bars are opposite each other) and was eyed up by a girl who had a pretty enough face and acted interest enough for me to give it a whirl (no English really, mostly bahasa). Took her back and she was actually trying fairly hard to be accommodating but as we got to talking I noted scars on her wrist and It went south from there. Basically a lovely chat, I wanted to make her smile, and she left with 200 k (not out of pity or pre-arranged bargaining, the night's experience was actually worth $20 to me).

Overall the night wasn't really wasted (even though I didn't get what I set out for) and both places had their pros / cons. Experiences are experiences, and I enjoyed it nonetheless. The's actually got me 'aroused' and I seriously considered just getting blown in the VIP room, I think it was the general energy, but yeah just didn't happen. The energy in Top Gun was rather hard for me to pin down (I actually found myself enjoying the band) and it really felt like I would have to wade through a lot to find a gem. Again there were some there, but they were already taken.

Haha, if the two guys I saw outside TG read this I'm sorry one of you got the ugly one, but holy shit your mate took home a right stunner.

Will probably try BATS / CJ's next (I think they are supposed to be the higher class bars).

I have RTFF fairly extensively but it is rather difficult to translate text on a screen to something I have never really had to do before; hence my rather clumsy / ham-fisted approaches so far.

The only issues on my being bule is the whole height scaring some, and I don't deny that I do get attention and don't really fear being rebuked as such, but it is more what kind of women frequent where. It seems to be a general mish-mash though as to what and where. I've had a few lokal pacars in the past and goddamn they were awesome nymphs for the most part; really sad that those ended (left country; I'm in / out a lot) but yeah just trying to cut through that whole dating shtick this time around.

Would my assumption that Top Gun / BATS / CJ's would have what I am looking for be accurate? I'm super not fussed on looks, and that whole good service / GFE is the only driving factor here. But I have read conflicting reports that there have been plenty of starfishing / no kissing / etc.

From Mandarin Oriental bar on ladies night to MS giving a brief guide on page 4 (as it reads currently). You have options on dating (both P4P and non P4P) as well as a whole host of information in the Reports of Distinction (They call it ROD for a good reason). Did you read HappilyMarried's post? He was having lunch and dinner dates too. If you want a tour of Jakarta after dark, get in touch with the man himself. Jakarta After Dark or JAD. He can give you a run down of options and inform you of more places than most of us have heard of. It might be the best way for you to spend money to save money in the end....

In all honesty I've never done it before, but seeing as everyone seems to have positive experiences I thought it would be best to give it a whizz... Incidentally it's the funniest thing to hear that a bule can't find a girl in Jakarta. Seriously? Just cast off that mantle of uncertainty and be more forward. They'll literally be falling into your lap. Malls and shops are your buffet table, whether it's shop assistants, sales promotion girls or even girls wandering around. Catch someone's eye and smile. If they smile back, move in and offer a coffee / meal / whatever. Over the coffee, make your move. It's all a matter of putting yourself out there. Incidentally, you don't have to young and good looking; I'll be hitting 50 this year, I'm not a bule and have no problems. So it should be a breeze for you.

I did try once going to. I think it was hotel classic? One of the hotels where on the top floor there is basically walls lined with women and mamasans just waiting. It was pushy as fuck and I felt really uncomfortable (I'm a really tall bule so I stick out in general anyway). I did once try Jl. Felatehan but that too felt a little odd to me. I'm unsure of it was just 'when' I went or where, so if anyone could clarify for me that would help.

I suppose it doesn't help that I actually don't have office hours (self-employed basically) and my 'needs' arise pretty much anytime / anywhere. Don't suppose there are places that would cater for such a thing? Even tried finding professional girlfriends (I think you call them P4 P) as I am fine with overly-clingy (prefer it) but really have no idea where / what / how.

The only two things that really do count against me is being really tall (even though my bahasa is decent it still intimidates a lot of women, WTS or otherwise) and that I'm a tad too sensitive to facial expressions / body language. Basically if I can see they really aren't into it for whatever reason (uncomfortable / shy / whatever) then that is an instant sex-drive killer. That doesn't mean I immediately go "I'm paying, so of course they are lying", I'm happy to believe in the lie but they just need to be good / professional liars. Since the trouble in Thailand I desided to give Jakarta a try. Got in late yesturday and had a problem with with my safe at the hotel so was only able to go to M block which was near my hotel. If this is the worst area .

That's far from the worst area. If anything, it's the best area in all of Indonesia for a westerner.
