however, long-term residents, particularly those living in the suburbs of south jakarta, who frequent the massage joints advertised by means of little flyers handed out at various traffic junctions every now and again will know that you almost never get fs in these places. these joints are located in commercial buildings or in suburban houses and invariably have a pretty receptionist who will quote a reasonable price for a 90-minute massage (nb you'll rarely get 90 minutes) and lead you back to a room to await your therapist. the room, which you will have plenty of time to observe awaiting your lady's arrival, will be fairly grotty with a manky old bath tub (no doubt bought second hand from mangerrai) and partitions that don't reach the full way up so you can listen to the slap and tickle of your neighbor getting done.

when your therapist arrives she will greet you with a polite smile and ask you to undress and lie on the mattress on the floor. your therapist will be 25-35, plump and the mother of a couple of kids. she will give you a reasonably satisfying massage and after 45 minutes ask you whether you want himself taken care of. negotiations will begin but will centre around whether she will give you a handjob or a blowjob (the latter being only infrequently available). she will take off her top and allow you to fondle her full, if well-used, breasts for extra. full service is almost never available (i say almost as i don't know for certain, only that it has never been available to me). after you have concluded you'll get a rub down in luke-warm water in the tub but the smell and feel of the cheap massage lotion will linger for the rest of the day. extras amount to about 300, 000 or 400, 000 on top of the massage, usually about 150, 000 to 200, 000.

you paint a bleak picture of the south jakarta scene. luckily i had very few experiences such as what you described, despite visiting over 30 different mps during my time in jakarta.

perhaps the best advice is to tell dan to visit the tried and true places for fs, such as kartika / berlian / royal mas, maribaya spa in hotel melawai, hotel malioboro and hotel alexis, travel and classic, maybe sumo shiatsu if he's adventurous enough to travel out to kelapa gading. too bad lokasari plaza is closed.

That's a hard question to answer. When I lived more-or-less full-time in Jakarta (2004-08) , I used to joke that Indonesia was the land of the A-cup, especially amongst the Javanese girls (2/3rds of the population) who average 4 foot 11 inches. 95 to 100 pounds and are probably wearing a padded A-cup bra.

Having said that, I ran across a fairly decent amount of larger-breasted women during my mongering there, but it's hard to generalize as to any one place. At Kartika one could find two Javanese girls, the (now-deceased) Cynthia, who weighed only 100 lbs but was a firm, solid C / D cup sitting on a sofa next to 95-lb. Cindy, who had a drop-dead beautiful face but was barely an A-cup. Maribaya Spa (6th floor of Hotel Melawei) had a decent number of larger-breasted women, in part because they were usually mid-to-late 20s and had had a child, or because they came from Sumatra or Ambon, not Java. One girl at Classic (back in 2008) was barely 20 and had rock-solid D-cups, and a barely-legal girl at a flea-bag brothel in Kali Jodo had monstrous firm breasts but was a total starfish in bed (it was fun to play with those tits, however).

The one valid generalization might be that the high-end spas such as Alexis and Malioboro will feature more firm, busty girls, but you will have to pay accordingly.

I was wondering what this Blok M was, thinking, maybe its like Walking St in Pattaya, but when I goggled it, its a plaza, (am I right?)

Anyway, I'm booking my flight next week, then I'll book accommodation. I'll book for 1, so I don't get asked who is "guest 2". Also I'm looking at a more resort style accomodation so I can relax and use their spa facilities.

Some questions,

Are the massage places easy to spot? Will the majority give HJs or FS?

Are the majority of hotels GF?

Blok M is both a mall and an area. The best drag for meeting girls in Blok M is known as Jalan Falatehan (jalan means street in Bahasa Indonesian) and there are several bars where you can pick up girls, including Top Gun and others. Many of the girls rotate from one bar to the next in searching of a male companion who has money in his wallet. These bars are somewhat lower-end than the hotel bars such as CJs (Hotel Mulia) , BATS (Hotel Shangri-La) and Tiga Puluh or 30 Bar (Hotel Le Meridien), which also means that their rates for ST and LT should be lower.

The best mall for picking up girls during the day in Blok M is actually Pasar Raya Mall. There's also a pretty good FS massage place in the Blok M area known as Maribaya Spa (Hotel Melawai) although the place looks run down, most of the girls are mid-20s are higher in age, and the prices have recently gone up there.

Most massage places are FS. Many of the FS massage places are in Kota at the northern end of town, near the intersection of Jalan Mangga Besar and Jalan Hayam Wuruk. These places include Kartika (highly recommended) , Berlian and Royal Mas (all on the same alley. Photo below) , Stadium (3 alleys south) and several other massage places in-between. Also somewhat nearby are Hotel Travel and Classic, both of which have been written about extensively. Two higher-end mps in this general area are Hotel Maribaya and Alexis.

Be careful if you go to Stadium late at night - it's an interesting and unique place but there's often trouble there (plus it apparently has a big drug scene).

A couple of the high-end spas, such as Fortune (opposite Hotel Le Meridien) and the several spas in the Delta chain, are not necessarily FS, but all will be at least HJ. As far as I know, about he only massage places that does not give any extras are the in-call massage places inside the Somerset and Harris hotels.

There are a couple of low-end areas but I wouldn't recommend them for a newbie visitor who's just here for a few days and does not speak the local language.

Virtually every hotel is GF.

Good luck with the traffic! The best taxi service is Blue Bird / Silver Bird, also the white taxi (Express? not sure about the name) and the green one (Gamya). The TransJakarta Busway can sometimes be the fastest way to travel across town, especially Line #1, which takes you from the Kota area (where Kartika is located) to Blok M.

A few final tips:

- no need to overpay if you meet a girl in a bar. She may ask for a ridiculously high price at first but will usually drop her price quickly. There are several posts discussing this here. If the girl sticks to her guns and continues to insist on over 1 million rupiah, just move on to another girl. There are plenty of hot ladies in Jakarta!

- some of the girls who are working the higher-end hotel bars at 10 pm (and asking for 2 million) can be found at the Jalan Falatehan bars at 1 am, asking for 1 million rupiah, LOL.

- all massage place girls will expect a tip on top of the house fee, in part because they personally receive very little of the house fee themselves (often 100,000 rupiah or less). A tip of 50,000 rupiah or 100,000 rupiah will be much appreciated; I usually gave 100,000 rupiah at the Kota spas unless the service was terrible. Remember, 100,000 rupiah is around US $8 or under 6 Euros these days.

- in many massage places, such as Travel and Classic, the really young girls (barely-18) often do not provide very good service, but the mid-20s girls usually provide great service.

- I personally highly recommend that you try Kartika Spa at least once during your visit. It's one of the few mps that regularly offers a body-to-body nuru-style massage. IMHO, every man should experience a two-girl 1-hour session at Kartika at least once in their life! Hint. Pick one girl and let her pick the second girl.

- if you need a local guide, several mongers including me highly recommend Jakarta After Dark, whose particulars can be found as one of the first posts in the Commercial Ads section of this board.

Several mamasans came to present their girls but I turned them all down until one came up with a very young (19 years) cutie from Bandung. Young, but up to standards. It seems that Classic and Travel don't provide good service anymore and this even after telling the mamasan what you want. Wow that s a big no for me since I would pay for a service not a starfish.

on my latest business trip to jakarta i stayed at mahakam hotel in blok m. even though i am a frequent jakarta visitor, it was a first time for me to stay in blok m. but it gave me the opportunities to explore a new section of the city and its spa scene. in this report i will mention a few places that normally get very little exposure in this forum. the purpose with this report is to share some insights i gathered during my trip. hopefully it can guide others who wants to explore south of blok m. please don't ask for therapist recommendations as i have far too little experience with each place to be able to provide any guidance.

after spending some time in this area i noticed the spa scene is different from the one in central / north jakarta. in the south most places are massage+he oriented. some places offer bj and fs but typically at higher prices than in central / north. typical fs price is 500-800 k idr. bj 300-500 k, and hj 100-300 k. all depending on quality and nego skills.

Can't imagine for the life of me why you would stay in the Islamic Republic of Bekasi. Sure its not a bad place to meet normal girls, but there is fuck all else out there.
