I just got back from my Aisa trip covering India, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia. As far as safety concerns and being targeted by police for being a tourist, never happened in past 12 years and neither this time. I stayed at Classic for 3 nights and did my deeds. Go in early at around 7 pm as those cute chic with nice curves tends to disappear after 10 pm. No issues. Be cautious, be calm and learn how to say "NO" with a smile, firmly but politely and they will get the msg. Remaining 4 days I stayed at Ascot in Central area. No issues either and other high end bars are within a short commute.

Classic is still thriving so is KC. FYI, no more free visa on arrival anymore. There is a fee of USD $35 at the airport which you will have to pay at a special booth before queuing up at immigration line. Also, there is a digital customs declaration form that you will have to fill using computer provided or your own cellphone.

My trip is also going to include a few countries, Indonesia being one of them. I'm planning on hitting up S. Korea, and maybe others. But I'll have to do research on those countries separately, as some of them have also been affected by the anti-prostitution hysteria that's all the rage around the world now.

Look mate, do yourself a favour and give Indonesia a miss, you sound like you are terrified of your own shadow, based on garbled accounts you half read on the internet sometime, somewhere.

There are nearly 17,000 reports on the Indonesian forum dating back 20 years in which blokes state very plainly, very descriptively, with precise instructions and directions how to get laid in Indonesia.

And rather than make the least effort to read those reports, reports all compiled free and at great effort, so that guys just like you can have an encyclopedia of knowledge about the bonking scene in Indonesia, you prefer to scare yourself silly with some reports you think you might have read on FaceBook or Fox News or something.

Just stick to the Philippines or Thailand, you'll be saving yourself a lot of fear and apprehension. You've actually been treated very patiently by posters here so far, so just stop wasting everyone's time and book that flight to Colombia.

My man, I've been to over 30 countries on 5 continents. I've visited some of the most dangerous cities and neighborhoods on earth, including those in my own hometown (NYC).

In my 53 years, I've been stabbed, punched, robbed, hit with a bat, spit at, and ripped off, among other things. I've also been in several street fights. That didn't stop me from traveling. So, if you're insinuating that I'm a pussy, you're barking up the wrong tree.

The travel reports that date back 20 years are irrelevant to me. Indonesia was fine before the government there went all woke and globalized and decided to declare war on the sex industry. I'm concerned about the situation in Indonesia *now*, given the reports of police corruption against white foreigners, and these are relatively scarce. That's exactly why I posted this thread. If that bothers you, you're certainly free to move along. No one is forcing you to address my concerns.

I'm totally not into the Tinder thing. I'd much rather go old school and scout multiple girls in person, and know exactly what I'm getting at the moment I'm going to fuck them. Nothing can compare to that.

That said, I'm definitely going to check out BATS.

Also, I did some digging last night on this forum and elsewhere, and "Classic hotel" and "Emporium" were places that were mentioned a lot. I checked them out and they look great. Lots of hot talent to choose from on multiple floors. If these spots are still as good as they appear, I would head out to Indonesia just for them. There's got to be at least 200 birds between them.

Are these hotels (and others) still a viable option for P4P, or have they fallen off since the pandemic? I don't hear them mentioned as much in recent blogs.

As far as the "big nightclubs", I'm not sure I'd be interested. They seem like a facsimile of the pretentious American clubs. If I wanted that, I'd just stay where I am.

Other than that, if you are willing to spend the time get yourself a Tinder Gold account. That will allow you to set up as if you are in Jakarta. Choose your age range, put in a brief bio, and you will start to get pinged by a wide variety of ladies. You can then start culling. Takes a bit of work to weed out the diamonds in the rough, but I have found it to be well worth it. You are going to find everything from Uni students looking for a few dollars to get them through their studies, lonely divorcees looking for a nice night out, and full core ladies of negotiable affection. You may be lucky and find a freebie or two, well nothing is ever free, it will cost you a good dinner in a nice restaurant. I still have a regular who I met 5 years ago when trawling for company, she costs nothing more than dinner and drinks. How to use Tinder and other apps is also well covered in here.

Get what I want in BATS, yes they are a little older, but they also tend to speak good English and are good company, and I'm happy to pay a few extra dollars for that. OS wouldn't know the answer to that one for he spends his time exclusively in low end bars and lokalisasi's due to the sheer avalanche of choice of 18 to 20 yo fun and having had a few unsavoury experiences with online. And if you want to go high end. Head to the big night clubs, but your chances of scoring anything there may be more age dependent, how big your wallet is, and if you are with any locals. Dragonfly and Basque are two old regulars that are still around, and then there's the new mega clubs. W Super Club and the H Club, which is supposedly the biggest nightclub in Asia. The last two may be an interesting, but very expensive environment. They have just opened so will be the place to go and be seen at. May try out the H Club in August when I am in town, just for the hell of it.

I was planning a September, 2024, sex vacation to Jakarta, Batam and Bali. But I've been reading horror stories about Indonesian police targeting tourists. They claim that you can end up in jail if you're even seen talking to a hooker, and even the people will rat you out to the police.

Police target tourists everywhere in Asia. If you could end up in jail for even talking to a hooker I would have a rap sheet a mile long. As OS so quaintly pointed out, if this worries you, best not step out the front door. But trust me, there are far scarier places to visit than Indonesia.

It's true. In Indonesia society is horribly garbled, the sharia police are everywhere and OS is glad you have read this online for it must be true.

Trust nobody, your enemies can be everywhere, why!, OS was in the supermarket last week and watched a packet of potato chips shape shift into a devilled eyed enemy. Fortunately OS carries garlic with him to vanquish his enemies thus. But its tricky. Hookers, bad news, OS saw one hooker go and hand herself in to the sharia police so she could claim the reward for catching a hooker. The fat ones and muscly ones are especially to be avoided, there are stories of them dragging innocent foreigners, still balls deep and dog locked into the police station to claim a double reward. That's grandpa's motorbike repairs paid for.

OS would counsel that you very carefully assess the risks of visiting Indonesia for he can see you like to manage risk and the sheer volume of risk that you will be required to assess could affect you negatively. Not just the risks of visiting a brothel but millions of other questions may confront you. Should I cross the road?, How far should I stick it in so I can pull out and run?, why is that security guard looking at me? Why are the potato chips all facing towards me, it's fraught and one false move and it's life in prison at the hands of the sharia police.

Are you able to link these articles? Since this is the Jakarta thread best only link those related to Jakarta.

I'm not, as I read them several months ago and don't even remember their titles.

What has your experience been in Jakarta? Is anything I said exaggerated? Would really love to just book my flight and head out there, but not if it's too dangerous for a white (Italian-American) guy, and I'm not referring to the people there; I'm referring to the police and legal system.
