I am 40 years old and when I send those girls messages 90% will not respond. I think my response rate on IC is about 10 to 15% and half of those that respond don't follow up on the mailings.

Exactly, my experience as well. Not at all like the Philippines. Its not as easy as many are saying.

I know that many things are possible here and only wish I'd discovered this city when I was in my mid 20s and not in my late 30s. Even then, it hasn't been too difficult but I have to wonder what I could have done back then. I'm 49 this year and I can still manage women in their mid 20s to mid 30s without really trying too hard so you have to allow for the possibility for someone who is young and slim to do a lot of "damage".

Spot on MD II! I am older than you and almost certainly not as good looking, but even I have a great time. Jakarta is a wonderful town and there is plenty to go around. And long may it continue to be that way! And long may you continue to do 'damage' my friend!

As for me, when I can't get it up even with V and all girls start to reject me I hope I won't get so warped with jealousy to carry on like a pork chop at some young guy having fun with pretty girls. Jeez! Some people.

I ask you dude, look at the little trollops in the photo, no girl in Jakarta dresses like that to go the mall, none. Any girls dressed as skanky as that would be driven out of the mall by the cacophony of wolf-whistles, hoots of derision, and catcalls of "Jablay! Jablay!" that greeted them. That is if the satpam even allowed the obvious ayam in in the first place.

And are just as believable.

I think Alpha is a great writer. I don't visit the site much but I think his posts are some of the best I've read here. And the girls he picks are high quality.

Hilo77, don't be so jealous. Just because girls don't react the same way to you doesn't mean they don't find a handsome, young guy more appealing.

I never picked up a girl in Blok M plaza and I must have been there at least 300 times in my life. I don't know how you guys do it there but even if my life depended on it I could not pick up there. I never even got a single look there from any girl.

Of course it might have to do with my age, I am 40 and if you are 33 years old as your nick suggests that could explain it of course. And I speak fluent Bahasa also. Anyway I bow deep for you.

I've read several posts about mall-hunting, saying it's great for a mid-day treat. One post, though, said that you needed to speak Indonesian for the first contact. I never found it easy to pick up girls in malls. And I speak fluent Indonesian. But the fact that it's hard for me is not because of the girls but because of me. For most bule it is ridiculously easy to pick up Indonesian girls in a mall. I know quite a number of bule guys who pick up a girl (or get at least one number) every time they go to a mall.

What's needed is a ready and friendly smile, good manners and confidence. You don't need to be able to speak Bahasa and you don't even need a good dress.

I know one bule who is wearing flipflops and an old singlet and shorts, this guy still picks up girls without breaking a sweat in whatever mall he goes.

I picked up girls this time, in malls 3 or 4 times but it always happened when I was not looking for one. If I go to a mall for hunting I never pick up because I become all jittery and nervous for some weird reason, and I will receive no attention whatsoever from any girl.

Mallhunting requires a certain set of skills. Many bule guys walking around in a mall will be looked at and smiled at by many girls but you have to react fast. It's very fleeting because in a second they are gone. So you have to zoom in for the kill right away. I cannot do that, I always need some time to build the courage to go up to a girl.

Once I was in my favourite mall eating an ice cream and walking around. Then I went up on the escalator to the next floor. I looked behind me and just below me was a very doable girl who beemed a smile at me. Because it took some time for the elevator to go up we talked a bit (she actually started). She was very surprised I spoke Bahasa. When we arrived on the next floor. We spoke just a bit more until the girl said she had to go somwhere. She left and I wanted to bang my head to the wall because I had not asked for her number.

As luck would have it about an hour later, I was at the exit of the mall and wanted to get a taxi, I saw her again. This time I did not forget to ask her whatsapp and the next day she was safely in my room tucked up.

You must be (and certainly are) a very well preserved 60 years old guy, probably looking at least 25 years younger than your real age (and I believe that). So for me it is not that easy to find suitable candidates on IC by far not as easy as it is for you, having said this, over the last 2 to 2 and a half month I have met about 15 girls from IC and bedded 12 of them. Of those 15 girls about 8 were (at least for me) very sexy, but most of the girls I had were not super pretty. The other 7 were just ok.

So I also have photos but I only generate interest from girls who are not my cup of tea, but you as a 60 year old get shitloads of emails from gorgeous young cuties (aged BTW 25 and 32) this is really good mate.
