Whichever hotel you stay at just make sure that hotel is one that allows Bluebird taxis and not only its not so trustworthy competitors. If this doesn't matter to you then ignore my post. I wouldn't stay at Classic myself but I do know Classic uses Bluebird taxis. You will need these to take you back to the hotel. There are much better hotels very near or within walking distance of Classic and Travel.

For the guy who recently stayed in Kelapa Gading, are Bluebird taxis allowed to pick up from there yet? If not, which taxi company did you find the most "honest" in Kelapa Gading.

I think someone mentioned Emporium. Has the strip club part of Emporium reopened too?

I do not see any advantage in staying in Hotel Classic. I never understood why Management does not allow Hotel guests to bring girls back to their Room.

I recommend you stay at Grand Mercure Harmoni. This is a short Taxi ride from Classic.
If you are looking for a cheaper Hotel, there is a IBIS right next to the Grand Mercure. You will save 50% or more versus the Grand Mercure.
