Got to agree with you. Pre-Covid I had given up on bars / nightclubs and switched to Tinder. Pay for Gold Membership a few weeks before travel and start trawling. I didn't have much luck with Tinder this trip. There were a lot of messages passing back and forth, but not many conversations came to fruition. "too far" "2 M" (no thanks) or "I'm on my period" etc.

I didn't end up visiting any more spa's because I found there was more than enough on SA and Tinder. SA I didn't like that much. Compared to Tinder there are way less girls, quality is more or less the same and they all want big money: generally 3-5 M for a few hours.

- Paying for the 'boosts' works, I could get 100+ likes in an hour, which is more than enough to pick from. They'd drip through at 1-2 per day without a boost though. A lot of people list their IG handle so if you are cheap just add them on IG and message them there.

- There's a bunch of IG model types. They're not really my vibe so I didn't try to match, I prefer somebody more modest and honestly a lot of them look pretty ran through, especially the ones with a lot of travel pics to eg Dubai / Singapore.

- There's also a lot of girls that will hit you up for ppm straight away. These seemed to be either spa girls off-shift (they'd message during the day) or just freelancers. Was quoted 1 M for ST by a bunch of girls. I didn't follow through with any of these and tbh a lot of the pics didn't seem genuine.
