Excellent report Zetmaster which simply confirms that I am right and wrong about Jakarta. I'm right that some of the formerly good spots are dreary meat markets now but wonderfully wrong in believing that Jakarta has lost all of her sparkle. The old girl can still produce some magic moments, that's very heartening to know.

This enormous city, crowded and poluted at day time and most intriguing at night draws one like a magnet again and again. For those who do not live there but rather frequently visit it, say from a neighbouring country the hunt more often than not begins at night.

Visited a few places; Bats, X2, Blowfish, Vertigo, Dragonfly and CJs. Visit to Bats was just a tribute to the first club I went to some 5 years ago on my first trip to Indonesia. Just a few minutes of observation helped me understand what the more experiences forum members meant with changing sex scene in Jakarta. The place was packed with men who didnt look like expats, more sex tourists of many races you could see in Bangkok in 90's. The ratio of girls to guys was likely near 50/50. But there were probably only 4-5 girls in the 7-7.5 range, no dolls, no honeys.... Couple of them approached, asked 500,000 for overnight even before I expressed my intentions. No elaborate exchange of rhetorical flourishes here ;o), just staight to the business. That sounded too professional, so off I go to the next place.

Blowfish and Vertigo were both visited on Fri night about 11 and 11.30pm accordingly. Had heard about these so many times, so just wanted to have a look. The 1st one had definately a better atmosphere, I could even spot some bules lurking in the dark corners unreached by laser beams. However it was far from happening as there're no clear tagets to hit. A few groups of friends having fun, but not more than that. Perhaps coming later would help change one's luck. My stay at Vertigo lasted just slightly longer than the trip in the lift to the 17th floor where it's located; about 15-20 people in their early 20's dancing in the circle, not a single foreigner... The techno beat was quite catchy though but I decided not to join them unless some attractive outcome for the night could be secured.

With plenty of drinks consumed from the previous places I was already on fire. So destination -Dragonfly. My mind went quite blank while taking a ride in a taxi to this great club, but somewhere half way all the consumed images and sights mixed up into some colourful kaleidoscope and the new plan emerged in mind promising to make this visit memorable.

I had been in touch for over 5 months over internet with a 24 year old cutie, she sings among other things and having just released her 1st cd promised to present a copy when I reached Jakarta. 'What if ask her to meet me in my hotel lounge...' - I was thinking, but then my time in Jakarta's short, 'Impossible is nothing' - came a famous ad line to my resque as I was about about to leave the taxi almost paying 300,000 rupiah istead of 30,000 (the 100's and 10's indeed look alike ;0) Those Blue Bird drivers a very honest! Luckily he only read the meter but not mind... LOL

Dragonfly had apparently changed its setting and not fot the better. They used to have two separate sections, one for the club and the second probably catering for pre-booked events or private parties. They've merged the section and it's kinda lost its soul. They used to have a main dance floor, and in a closer space I remember there was a sense of one party, shared joy and in especially euphoric moments (great DJ sets, good timing of alchohol intake after dinner and a newly found company of a beautiful and fun girl) the night seemed to be pulsating with a rhythm of a single hearbeat.

The crowd was spread out, as the place was too big to fill in. Some in group of friends, some by themselves. There was a number of attractive girls (Citra Lestari type I'd say). I was ordering my second drink and facing the bar when I was approached by an Indonesian guy with 2 nice chicks, all three of them in their early 20s, just before that they were dancing on the wooden podium. I must have looked cool with my back to the dance floor ) While other guys at the bar were intensely observing what was going on on around them. The guy suggested I take care of the second... those great, hospitable Indonesian people - how could I resist. 'My' girl asked me a few times what I wanted to drink and I said I was still having my whisky, surpisingly she ordered another 4-5 rounds in the next hour for all of us and later it turned out she had a running bill on her credit card, they didn't even late me pay! We were all very drunk by closing time, and they offered to send me to my hotel in his car and his girlfriend insisted my girl make me a company... ;o) There only came two phrases to my mind as we walked in to the lobby, both were from the 'Borat' movie: 'Great success' & 'This was the happiest day of my lives!' LOL

Saturday - my last day in Jakarta. Decided to visit CJ's (curious how it has changed) and then X2 before meeitng the singer later as she agreed to 'just drop by to pass the disk only' after I'd informed her about leaving early next day (made it look spontaneous .

CJ's kind of shocked me, although I'd already expected the meat market to lose it's appeal, but the prices two girls I talked to quoted - USD 200 for 1st one and $250 for the other one made it look like I was in Singapore, they were about 8 but at least in Singapore for that price you could get a 10 if you are lucky! I offered $50 just to see their reaction and they did't like it. Perhaps this was an atypical case but still I conclude some guys were paying them near that much. Wonder if GFE can still be found in places like CJ's as there used to be a frequent positive reference to this place in the earlier days of this century ;o)

Left for X2 around 11 as there was not much time left. Observed that the place can be good (but probably most of the crowd comes after 12) with quite a few approachable targets. The 2 girls I decided to talk to were very frienldy, one 8, another 6 though I realised it was best to take their number and call them next time, otherwise would porobably have to stay with them for couple of hours before realising any action plan.

So back to my hotel, received an update from my singer if we could meet somewhere else. I disagreed (she had ealier mentioned she stayed near Sultan hotel), so I smsed back saying 'just drop by as I have to sleep ealy and included the room number. Back came an angry reply saying she won't go up to the room. So lobby it was. About 30 min later received an sms saying she's waiting downstairs.

There she was.. and what a sight! Pretty face with big expressive eyes, luscious lips, beautiful somewhat disarming smile. She was wearing tight t-shirt and a reaallly short miniskirt giving almost full view of her lean legs. We exhcanged handshakes and I remarked that the sight was tantalizing ;o) She passed the cd and I we spent a few minutes discussing the song titles and her plans for the future... As coversation progressed we recalled a few naughty ideas we had exchanged in the emails and in phone conversations in the past few months, she had a great sense of humor and we laughed a lot. When the fun seemed to be at its peak I quickly offered in as naturall voice tone as I could to come up to the room 'so we can put the cd in the safe' ;o) and have a quick drink (I had a bottle of JD bought at duty free upon arrival), I leaned foward to get up as I was finishing my sentece and she just said 'Ok, but not too long'. For a moment I thought it was not real as we walked to the lift. In the room we proceeded to talk casually as if it was just another place. I had a glass of whisky but she just asked for a cola. She noticed a pack of cigarettes on the table and said she was only a social smoker... I offered her one and went to the bathroom (to put some perfume for a better luck) . When I came out she was standing near the window, she looked at her watch and said she had to go soon. I replied she'd enjoy her cigarette much more, only if she took off her watch and playfully grabbed her wrist and helped her to take it off. I only remember her saying 'really?' as I turned away to put the watch on the small table next to bed table, when I turned back she was standing too close, there was the expression in her eyes I could make no mistake about...

Her lips, her almost trembling body with its scent, the moment itself felt incredibly intoxicating... these overwhelming sensations of great luck and racing heart. Sex was equally rewarding, with passion, skill and even selflessness. Almost an hour later as she was leaving asked not to send her to the lobby as i 'must be tired and should get a good rest' and i said i'd be glad comply and will remain in the room to take safeguard her precious first release... ;0))

I flew back home this morning but look foward to being immersed in those dizzying undercurrents of excitement that make this city one of the best treasures of Asia.

We decided to make a stand at ass pirate hill and McFly held them at bay while I went for the combine harvester.

I couldn't have been away any longer than 15 minutes when I crested the hill in the harvester to find McFly staked out on the ground spread eagled getting his fudge packed by at least 10 butt bandits.

I put the harvester in top gear and mowed down half the rectum rangers but it was to late for McFly, with his last breath he stayed loyal to the clan and shouted. Remember the Alamo! Wasn, t quite sure what the hell that had to do with fudgepackers but as I said I was on mushrooms at the time so it sounded good anyway.

Your post is an interesting exercise in humor and creative writing.

But I'm curious - what does your post have to do with the expressed purpose of ISG, which is to provide information on how guys can hook up with girls and have sex with them?

I discovered ISG after my last trip to Jakarta in June ’07. I wish I had discovered it sooner, but my previous trips did not suffer too much from lack of knowledge. I have been to Jakarta a total of 3 times for work and there were always women in the office that I visited who were more than willing to offer to come to dinner with me or show me around the city, and ultimately invite themselves back to my hotel room. I never had to do any work, they practically fell into my hands so to speak. They did not expect money, although it was clear they wanted to see me everyday and perhaps start a relationship. I did not mind spending 4 or 5 days with the same lady.

I will be back in Jakarta on Nov 15th and this trip is not for work. It is purely for relaxation and I am looking forward to testing out what I have learned on the forum and not spending the entire time with one woman. I have already been in contact with several women I met on Friendster and I think the possibilities are good that at least 3 or 4 of them will lead to good times (And mostly free good times at that). I am also looking forward to trying some of the hotspots everyone mentions.

Anyway, I look forward to making my first “REAL” posting in about 3 weeks.

... A lot more guys are going to Jakarta as sex tourists and unfortunately some of them are not the nicest guys in the world (not everyone is a Dorman or Mighty Spearsman). This will impact the city (hence Dorman's comments) but does not make it impossible to find the hidden gems - just much more difficult.

Spent yet another eventful 3 nights in Jkt.

As always I stayed at the the Shang.

I took the advice of one of our members that I slept till midnite after returning from the office before heading out, by which time, most girls would have arrived in the respective clubs in Blok M.

I bumped into the same girl (Lia from Top Gun) I had during my last trip. I still remember she was only so-so the last time but then she was quite drunk. Man, this woman was different when she was sober. Think she is probably a mistress to some big shot as she drove her own car. All in all a great night. I went there yesterday. I didn't see any great new talent, but I did hear some interesting news. The girl I went with was telling me they are starting a new policy where the day shift and night shift staff are going to rotate each week. One week they work day shift, the next week they work night shift. When I reflect on the story of Maya I think you have a good point. Certainly Jakarta has changed a lot but I agree that it is still possible to find the "hidden gems". The change is due to a great many things including the issue you mention. When I first started to visit, mobile phones had only just arrived on the scene and their use was restricted, because of the cost, to businesss users only; certainly no girls had them. One of the effects of that was if you met someone you and they didn't really have the option to delay the process, I think that has had fairly far reaching consequences, as had the internet. However, there is still nowhere better than Jakarta.
