I visited the city twice in the past three weeks just passing through for a few days, so I will add a post here for current information.

Being a massage enthusiast, I hunted for the infamous Symphony (Symphoni) mentioned throughout the older posts but to no avail.

Mr. Spa is still in business and I highly recommend it for FS. 1 million IDR gets you 90 minutes (75-80 actually) with the lady of your choice from a line up. Very nice talent there, and they are open until 11pm. If you get in before 10:30p they will accomodate you. The massages are not quality at all. Just some oil rubbing. The complete time/session is yours and the massage is just a formality. The rooms have AC and a shower. The bedding appeared clean, but you never really know in these places. There were several floors (four or five) all accessible by stairs only.

For an erotic massage that is one of the best I've experienced worldwide (Brazil, Czechia and Colombia are at the top of that list), I highly recommend Delta Spa Surabaya 2, located near Tunjungan Plaza. Perhaps this is the old Symphoni location?

900k IDR for a 2-hour massage (105 minutes actually) for a room with a hydromassage shower was a good deal. Ended with HJ and there was teasing the entire time. One of my pet peeves is how masseuses ignore litte Jimmy and dance around him the entire massage until the flip at the very end. This was not the case here. The masseuses are well-trained in erotic tease as well as Shiatsu massage techniques. I was impressed with the massage quality. It is a very sensual massage and the masseuse puts you on the hydromassage table for 5 minutes front and back then soaps all of the oil away ending with a shower. Masseuses are offered on a first available basis, so you don't get to select her. I've been twice and was very pleased both times with the masseuse they gave to me. The place is well-run with immaculate facilities and a second floor for non-alcoholic drinks and smoking if you so choose. The hostess will meet you on that floor and try to upsell you on several other packages. "I just want the 900k deal that the downstairs clerk told me about, lady!". There are at least four floors and the men's locker room has 2 saunas. I was a walk-in and only had to wait about five minutes mid-day. Not sure if appointments are recommended.

I also visited D'King Spa. The place was quite run down. They charged 350k IDR at the door for a one-hour massage, then the masseuse wanted 1 million for FS. I obliged, but it was not a good deal, in retrospect. 1 million should have been total paid, period. I was just happy I found the place after searching an hour for the place. The current Google Map coordinates are off about a half block across the street in an alley. Correct coordinates are: (-7.262059, 112.731089). If dirty back alley places are your thing (and I do favor them at times for adventure) you will love this place. The AC does work in the rooms and the shower has hot water. The massage table is built into the floor and the face hole is a box filled with moon rocks with a light shining upward. Definitely different. I chose Lina from a book of photos at the front desk. Of course, the facial photos give you no clue as to body size, etc. So it's a coin toss.

Malang – 6th and 7th nights.

This is my first trip to Malang. During my search while preparing for this trip, I came through an interesting profile in late 20's. I don't know about Simphony, but I did check out Cosmo (just went in, did not partake), and it was open. The receptionists were quite attractive and young actually. Prices were 475 and 525 for room only. Hours 10 am-10 pm (last call). It's right after Tunjungan Plaza 6 on the left, and you have to go up the elevator to level 4. There's a guy that monitors the elevators.

Later, went to Mr. Spa. This place is also open and if things click with your masseuse you're golden. You're given a wristband and then led to a bar / club area with live music. Then the PPS brings out a lineup of maybe 10-12 girls. None caught my eye (all a bit larger than I preferred and none cute enough to outweigh the size) and I was about to leave, and then PPS busts out his phone and shows me some other girls. He then goes to bring out another lineup of 6 girls. There were a couple in this group that were quite cute, and I picked one, who resembled a JAV actress. The most prominent bordello is Symphony next to Majapahit hotel. There are others like the' King, Monalisa, Gandaria in Kedungdoro area. You might need to know basic Bahasa to get by.
