The price is on average higher in Surabaya, at least if you compare freelancers that you find at bars etc. Extra service at Spa's seem to be equal or a bit above Jakarta prices. I guess I overpaid at Dolly's now, but somehow you must expect a increase in price from the old days, because of the official closing of the location and the highly decreased supply of girls.

Just to add, there are 2 branches of atmosphere spa in surabaya. One in the Twin Hotel and the other in Ruko Palace. There is another one in the city of Malang, south of Surabaya.

Near Tunjungan Mall there is another spa called Glamour similar to Cosmos and of course the well known brothel. Simponi / Symphony near Majapahit hotel.

I just returned from Jakarta and on Indonesian TV there was almost nothing else than reports about the closure of Dolly. Also daily reports in the Jakarta Post. I even saw an interview with Moammar Emka (author of the "Jakarta under cover" books) on the subject. It's not just Dolly that was closed down. In the Jakarta Post there was a listing of four other locations in Central Java that were also closed down.
