Well I've been to Yoshi a few times and I finally found the shop! (American only)I heard from some marines. I just never made it to the street when I drove but this time I took a cab and he just drop me right in front of the shop. A lot of english (funny)signs out. I can see why Americans like this place. (not only this girl who got that aura. She is HOT. She just stands out. But also what she has inside the place. Very diffrent than other shops).

There are several blocks of little bars, snacks, and restaurants, and I would say about 20 "ryokans" (旅館 -- these are NOT the kind of ryokan that you take your wife and kids to for the authentic Japanese experience.)

Quick advice would be to pick up a copy of the Okinawa Yellow Pages by Peace Phone Services.

* By Car:
- It's on Route 330.
- Head south along 330, past Foster, Ginowan, Futenma, Urasoe, and Shintoshin/Naha Main Place.
- When you get to Naha, you'll drive under or next to the monorail tracks, starting from Furujima Station.
- After Omoromachi stn and DFS, the next station is Asato.

If you are coming down Route 58, then, make a left onto Route 29, just before Tomarin Ferry Building. Follow Rt 29 until it hits Rt 330. Then, make a right for Asato.

* By Bus:
(1) From Koza, #90, #112, and #31 will get to Asato Stn without transferring.
(2) Other option from Koza/Rt 330 at Gate 2: #23, 27, 63, 77, and 110; get off when the bus right-turns into Kokusai Street from Rt 29 and walk along Rt 29 to Rt 330. Or, wait until Makishi Station and walk under the track or take the monorail to Asato (next stop).
(3) If coming from west of Kadena/Gate 1/Chatan: take #20, 28, 29, 120; then, follow same as step 2 above.

- for step 2 & 3, you want to make sure that the bus is going to Kokusai and _not_ Kumoji, which means the bus will not turn onto Rt 29, continues on Rt 58 to Matsuyama/Kumoji, and bypasses Kokusai.
