It's good to know that places like Yoshihara are still open and the same price, although the yen rate sucks right now.

Is it true all the buy me drink bars outside of Kadena gate 2 and Camp Hansen are closed? Any of them open? I use to barfine girls sometimes (I was a butterfly), but I also use to get many freebies during the day time.

I heard there are no miltary curfews right now, but drinking alcohol after 2AM is not allowed. Is that correct?

I remember the days when I would leave the bars and it would be after sunrise already.
The new rule for Marines is that noone reguardless of rank can drink any alchol after 2 A. M. Also they are trying to kick in a new order that all E-3's (LCpl's) and below cannot comsum any hard alcohol (anything above 10%) at any time regaurdless of age or type liberty card.

Personnaly I did the curfew as if frees the bars of the fools early and lets those that understand how to act remain. Stil some fools will screw it up.

Night life in Hasen is DONE. Its sucks the Kinville we all know and love is but a memory in our brains. Gate 2 Street is dying fast as well, nothing like the days gone by.

    Good luck and happy hunting

As for the buy me drink bars being closed that is inaccurate. There are still a few outside of gate 2 that are indeed open. Those that were outside ofHansen are all gone however.

Regarding the military curfew - if you are a Marine then you may still face a curefew based upon your rank or the liberty card they have issued you. Not military myself anymore so not sure of the exact details but they had an article out about it recently. I will see if I can track it down and post more details for you.

I think you are talking about Nishihara. I haven't been there either. haven't heard about any P4P but there is a university there that is supposed to have some good NAMPA action.

The Starbucks on 241 just east of 330 is full of cute chicks on weekends.

I noticed a camera in Yoshi several weeks ago mounted into an overhang. Although I couldn't tell you were now, the place is still a freaking maze to me.

Depends on where in Naha you are.
If you are in the Tomari area it will cost:
about 1000 Yen to get to Tsuji
-2000-2500 yen to get to Maehara
    -3000-5000 to get to Yoshihara.

No really good public transportation except cabs. Not as expensive as in the Tokyo-Yokohama sprawl but not that cheap either.

You may want to try some escort action.

If you have a little game you can try some Nampa in the Kokusai Dori area or even Mihama Sunset area. Or, just have a cabbie take you to Tsuji, Maehara, Yoshiara or Asato.

    Peace Out!

Thanks for your impressions, as I haven't been there before. So, to cut to the chase, would you think I would be better off just going there alone for three days of "standard" mongering and nampa (and maybe a night of nomiya) excitement, or taking a J-girlfriend along for hotel and beach activities instead?

I'm not planning to get a car, but would it be doable and worthwhile to stick around Naha (where the planes land) and get enough in the way of mongering without heading to and fro across the island? In such a scenario, would anyone be able to kindly provide recommendations for a reasonably priced, clean Naha hotel and a quick "lay" of the land overview in terms of the general scene (availability and variety of the usual forms of monger recreation, both p4p and non-p4p)? I'm not into being overly mobile if I don't have to, but are there undeniably compelling reasons for me want to get out of Naha?

Can I have a decent time of the sort I'm used to in the Tokyo/Yokohama area, and is there a behavior protocol for me to act toward others, or other expectations of me (in both p4p and non-p4p situations) for a non-military person like me who just wants to recreate, given the huge military presence? IOW, is there a potential for some unique fun to be had for me in a short (few day) Naha trip, or would I be relatively disappointed?

    Yoshi

I cruzed thru Yoshi last night since today was a Japanese Holiday. It was around 11:30 and there was about a 3 outta 5 ratio of sexy to not a chance. Lots of women out I had never seen before. One chick sitting in one of the triangle shaped places looked like she was straight outta video, I wanted to talk to her but there were guys lined up in front of her.

Naha Music (the stage) still closed

True to my intention, I went by the old spot where Naha Music (aka the Stage) used to be and there is a closed up building with a chain on the door that looks like it has been out of commission for a while.

Too bad. It was a very unique place. For 35 bucks you could get off your exhibitionist thrills if you had the mind, or for an extra 50 or so have a 20 minute session in the backroom.

Probably was closed because most of the girls were South American, probably in Japan under questionable terms. I notice all the places left in Okinawa seem to have homegrown girls, either from Okinawa or the mainland. While there I also found the Naha soapland area by the Pacific Hotel very easily and found a place in the middle of the afternoon that would take gaijins. Not sure of the name, but as you walk by they will be obvious about whether you are welcome or not. For 15000Y I got an hour with the whole deal, assisted shower bath, soapie, bed action, DATY, BBBJ, CFS, she even did a little asian on my backdoor, which was pleasant. Riko was here name, very thin average looking Okinawan girl (about 30 age).

    Have fun

I haven't heard that Naha Music Factory is up. Is it? I'd like to visit.
