Much thanks for your FR on Yoshihara, great intel! I was on a business trip to Okinawa in early 2001 and a bud stationed there took us to that district, just to show us around. We only just cruised through the narrow roads and tight alleys, as we had already done the Naha Music Factory (aka "The Stage") visit and were tired and drunk by then. I probably misunderstood at the time, as I thought those places were mostly "snacks" and members only type bars. Pleasantly surprised to learn they are something other than just hostess bars.

Curious, how did YOU get keyed in on that district? It's definitely off the beaten path. I remember exactly how to get there, might save myself a drive down to Naha next time I'm in Okinawa and take a walk through Yoshihara.

[scout report: okinawa - naha (jul-2002)]

collected a few pieces of sexual services intel on various sites and am submitting this report for benefit of others user of this site.

1) found a great lead on soapland action in naha city at the following url: http://www.okinawa-info.com/hub/soapland.html

2) did a search on web for maps of naha area. found good general info and downloaded an adobe pdf file from the japan national tourist organization (jnto):

3) armed with info on aforementioned sites, drove down route 58 from kadena area towards naha (approx. 45 mins elapsed time) looking for soapland area described in url of item 1 of this report.

4) the izumizaki crossing is a 4-corner pedestrian overpass crosswalk. i saw a number of these overpass crosswalks while driving in to naha city, so keep you're eyes peeled. if you're heading south on route 58 from kadena, look for a 'hitachi' and then 'toshiba' sign on top of buildings to your left (maejima area). you're getting close, stay in right lane. a 'panasonic' sign on top of a building will soon come up on your right. on your left, look for an overhead rail station; i believe it's called 'asahibashi station'. route 58 makes a slight bend to the right just prior to the intersection; keep in the right lane. you'll need to make a right turn at that intersection, taking the left fork in the road. if you're heading north on route 58 from naha airport direction, look for the overhead rail station on your right (asahibashi station, please correct if i'm wrong). you'll need to turn left at the next intersection (look for the 4-corner pedestrian overpass). whether you turn left or right, you'll be headed down a 2-lane road towards the pacific hotel.

5) on page 3 of the jnto map (naha; see above url), the pacific hotel is represented by the boxed #4 on the far left of the naha map. the soapland neighborhood i drove through was the city block to the right of the boxed #4, left of the words "izumizaki crossing" and down-left of the circled #1. this may sound like jibberish, but refer to the map and you can probably decipher what i'm saying.

6) after driving down the 2-lane road 2-3 minutes, i saw the pacific hotel. i made a u-turn in the front door area of the hotel. i passed through the traffic light (heading back towards route 58 direction), made my first left past the bookstore warehouse located on the left. i started to drive in to the area i assumed was soapland neighborhood. i was soon hailed and flagged by a number of young bouncer guys and obaa-sans (elderly ladies) sitting on folding chairs outside of each of their respective establishments. i surmised i was in the correct area of town (okinawa soaplands).

7) i didn't stop or visit any of the places. not sure where you can park if you have a car. either case, i went in broad daylight (approx. 13:00 on a friday) and was obviously being enticed to enter (i'm a gaijin, so i assume everyone waving at me would welcome foreigners to their establishment). maybe you can pay for parking at pacific hotel and take a stroll through the neighborhood. if you walk back towards route 58 from the pacific hotel about 1 minute, turn left down the first 1-2 side streets, walk another 1-2 blocks, you'll know you've hit the soapland places if you get approached by front door greeters.

8) will report more if i venture in to one of the naha soaplands.

I was on Okinawa in March. Green, I didn't see the massage place on BC street. Maybe it's not there anymore. I was definitely looking.

I did find some good phil bars there though. I don't remember names, I went to all of them. One of them was pretty good because the girls will actually drink with you. The one I was with drank cans of beer rather than a shot of juice. The price was the same for a lady drink at all the ones I went to. The only difference was what they drank. One I went to I bought the girl a drink and told her exactly what I wanted. I ended up going into the "jungle" as they call it. It's just a booth with two potted plants providing cover from the rest of the bar. There I got a good slow handjob for 50 bucks. When you hit BC from gate 2 street go left and the bar is on the right. Don't remember name.

The basic price of the other places was 200 dollars for an all nighter not including the cost of a cheap hotel.

One the same side is an internet cafe. You have to go up some stairs. It's easy to find. There is only one there. I "spoke" with the bartender there. I was the only customer there. I don't speak japanese and he didn't speak english. Luckily sex motions is the same in any language. It took me a couple of days (I started my nights drinking beer there) before I broke the code. What I translated from his is that there is a place about 15 min from BC that the locals go. It's called Yoshihara. This is what I found.

I jumped in a cab and told the driver "yoshihara." He knew exactly what I was looking for. It's about 15-20 min away off the main road. It's a series of interconnecting "alleys" or small streets in the style of amsterdam. Girls are standing in front of the doorways waiting for customers. There are a bunch of them. What I understood from the bartender was not all of them take "gaijin" or foreigners. He said maybe 40% of them do. The trick is to find the 40%. As I approached I "told" the cab driver "gaijin" and pointed to myself. Again he understood what I meant. He drove up to one girl and said a bunch of words of which I understood "gaijin." He was asking her if she would take me. She nodded "no." We moved along and stopped at the next girl. Same thing. At this time I figured I might just walk around and see how I'll do by myself. I got out and started walking. I walked around until I found a cute japanese girl. I approached her and smiled. Basically I asked her if I could come in by pointing at myself and pointing towards the door. She said yes. She took a calculator out and inputted the price. She motioned the time. Translation: It would be 100 dollars for 30 min.

Everything was covered. Attitude was good. I fucked her for all of the 30mins and a little more. She didn't watch the clock.

If you try this place I would suggest going alone. Being nice. I was drunk, but didn't act obnoxious. I think these things would increase your chances of having them accept a gaijin.

Reminds me of when I was stationed there back in 1998 to 2000. Like 'Green' was saying there are a lot of filipinas in BC street. But most of the clubs along the strip cater to American servicemen stationed mostly in Kadena Air Base and the Marine Corps Bases in Okinawa. One of the clubs that comes to my mind is the "Hawaiin Nights" club. Although they would have a live filipino band (from worse to good) the place is a Rat Hole. One time I got my shorts rip because of a wire that was sticking out one of the seats that is heavily taped up with Masking Tape. I don't know if this place is still open or it is still and in the same condition but I rate the filipinas over there between 4 to 5. If you go farther it gets very interesting with a mixture of clubs with filipinas and okinawan women. I find the okinawan (japanese) women more attractive but if you are not fluent in japanese or look like "Rob Lowe" you can pretty much forget it or unless you come in with your japanese friend and translate for you all night (which I have done before with marginal results). I say that if you cannot pass for japanese (somehow if am only fluent in nihongo I can pass for japanese) and communicate it is fruitless. My theory is these japanese women know and understand english but if they are not attracted to you, you should just hit the high road. I have seen tall white dudes hang out in these clubs and somehow magically some of these women know how to speak and understand the english language!!! Go Figure. I am an Asian American myself and these was one of my frustrations when I was there. But I had no problems with the filipina women though and there are 7's or 8's that you can find in Naha City especially at the "Makati Club".

One of my favorite hangouts farther down from BC street is called the "Yakaniko Club". There was a lot of 6 to 7 filipina women and although it is open to everyone you can find mostly filipino american servicemen hang out here. I myself was acquainted with the Papa-san and I usually hangout every weekend and spend about $100-150. As soon as I get to know the filipina women I usually take them on Kadena Air Base in the morning and eat breakfast and most of them would hang out in my barracks until they go to work at 6 pm. This was my routine until I can say that I fucked almost all of them during the span of time that they were working in that club. One good thing about this is that the women change every 6 months. So you can just imagine how happy I am when I was there!!!!! ;}

There's a few places in Okinawa I have found for some pretty cool paid sexual fun.

BC Street Filipina clubs and massage parlor: It's outside Kadena AB's gate 2 and parallels gate 2 to the Northwest by a few hundred yards. If you're driving, go out Kadena gate 2, keep going straight till you hit the elevated 4-way crosswalk, turn left, then take your next left and you're now on BC street (it has other newer names, just can't remember them). It's a 1-lane, 1-way street. During the day it's a popular Japanese shopping street. At night, on the right side there's about half a dozen Filipina clubs. It's not cheap, but if you buy a cute Filipina a few juicy's (Y1,000 each), you'll be sucking her tits and she'll be stroking your dick. If you really want to get laid, you can buy her out of the bar ($150-250) for a couple hours and take a taxi to a cheap motel near by. She gets virtually none of this money though, so if you have a few days and you want some "companionship at command", just talk with her quietly about arranging meetings during the day when she's allowed out of her residence hall. You'll pay nearly the same amount, but at least she gets all the $$ herself and she'll be more enjoyable.
During the day, on the left side of BC street down by the end just before Morrigans pub, you'll see a little wooden sign on the sidewalk for massages. This place hasn't been in business very long and probably won't be for long either, but the menu has regular and "sensual" massages. It's expensive (I think $150 or so if I remember right) but you get a nice shower, massage, and a great BJ (nothing else). Don't pay the $$ for the 90 min one, get the 60 min one.

Love motels: You can't get girls here (that I know of), but if you find a chick and want to take her somewhere cool, most of the love motels are in Awase. From Kadena gate 2, go down gate 2 street, this time turn right at the 4-way and stay on Hwy330 for 2-3km until you see Awase golf course on the left. Turn left there (I think it's Hwy 22?) about 1-2km down the road you have to turn left again. Can't remember exactly where, but most of the traffic goes that way. Soon after that the road goes down a hill and you'll see the whole hillside has a bunch of really extravagent tacky looking hotels. You can't miss it at night- it looks like Vegas hotels. Those are the love hotels.

Naha Soapy Slides: One of the cooler experiences here is to do the soapy-slide thing down in Naha. There's a whole bunch of parlors in this one neighborhood down there where you go in, pay the guy Y15,000 for an hour with a cute Japanese girl. They don't speak English but you don't need to communicate- the girl will take care of you. You go into this room with a bed and a big bathing area. She gives you a total (nude) body wash, then slimes up a big air mattress where she gives you a body to body slippery massage, a BJ, and then fucks you silly. If you don't want the slip-n-slide, then you can opt for a massage and fuck on the bed. This is a great time and some of the girls are real hammers (some aren't!). I've never had a bad experience and these girls are really nice and friendly. Exact directions are a problem so you may have to do a little searching: Go down Hwy 58 to Naha and keep driving. You need to turn right just before leaving Naha on the last street before crossing the big river. There's a big elevated 4-way there. Drive down that street and turn right at the last big cross-street. You should see a large brown hotel on the left side once you make the turn. Go down that street and if it takes you to a big bridge, then you're on the right street. Just before the bridge, turn right on a little street. Take your next available tiny street to the right and you should start seeing these parlors. They're brightly lit up and tacky, Vegas style, and each of them has a Japanese mafia guy standing outside. Just pick one, he'll show you where to park, and off you go!

I'll be visiting Okinawa, so I have been looking for some information on what these islands offer, besides the weather, beaches, food, culture, etc.

I found an old report (see below), but am not convinced this really exists. Has anybody been there? If yes, can you give me directions?

- Well last night the guys and I went out to visit the Naha City Music or more commonly known as "The Stage". I am mostly going to add on to what Chris said in his review #2523. You pay $30 to get in. South American girls and Japanese girls dance on stage. Somewhat similar to an American strip club.

The difference is that at the end of the girls dance one person from the audience can go on stage and have sex with the girl. Typically only the S. American girls have sex, but once in a while a Japanese girl while have sex also. Note that only one girl out of the group normally gets on stage to have sex. If you are intimidated to go on stage you can go in the back room. The back room costs an additional $50 now, but offers privacy.

The women were absolutely amazing and the full service I received was fantastic. The Stage in located in central Naha and is visible from Route 58. If you are heading south it will be on your left side across from a big Family Mart. Look for the street that is divided down the middle by a canal. The Stage is located on this street, but you can see the stage before you actually turn.

If you reach the left turn for Kokasai Dori you have gone too far. If you are coming from the highway you are going to want to wait until you pass the right turn onto Kokasai Dori and then turn right at the Food Mart. Enjoy!!
