Visited Tsumaten last week. This place is well reported here. Whity exit from Umeda Station. It is a reliable gaijin-friendly (basic Japanese absolutely required) hotel-health housewife places. I picked Yuzu. 38, bigger gut than I expected but no problem for me, speaks no English, very friendly, OK face but basically a housewife who looks like a housewife and gives good BBJCIM. She asked me what I wanted to do and I told her FS was not necessary, BBBJ and she seemed relieved. CIM was a bonus and she didn't run to the sink to rinse out right after, either. I don't know if FS is available with the 60-minute course or not. Never tried, never asked and didn't need it. If I want FS I go to Tennoji.

That said, the hotel was decent, a real hotel, not one of those basic rooms, either. Nice size, very clean, nice bath, comfortable bed, etc. One word of warning, you will get an older, plain looking lady here, she will not be stunningly cute or dress really nice, either. This is a housewife place and they all dress the part in my experience so don't expect a stunner or diva. You will get what you pay for. I happen to like those kind of ladies. They are not girl next door, either. They are more like girl next door's mother. They will have one or many of the usual flaws: overweight, slightly smelly, homely, scars, matronly clothes, bad teeth, bad hair, etc. But one thing I have not experienced is bad service. Always got BBBJ, occasional CIM, usually not.

My first go on the Japanese forum here. I live in Korea and will be going to Osaka for the weekend. I know Japan and Korea are similar with a lot of places not being foreigner friendly. When I've gone, and it's slow, the mama will usually drop the price, without even me asking. Just sitting there contemplating, and she lowered it. This happened at 3 places so far.

Thanks, I'll change my approach, I usually walk the whole area twice to enjoy the sites and narrow the list, then walk up on my selection, guess I'll walk up less affirmatively and stall a bit for a lower offer sometime, though often the amount hasn't come up at the front, only once up in the room.
