The eventual deal was the mamasan came to the hotel with the girl to check me out and reassure the girl, it was HJ only, and it was expensive.

In your case, Osakarbp, they picked you as a foreigner from your very first couple of spoken words, in those next 3-4 minutes they may have checked with a couple of the girls, but no-one was willing to put up their hand for a first experience with a gaijin.

One strategy I have used, especially in a small hotel, is to present yourself very nicely, tell the hotel reception that you would like a girl and let them make the telephone calls. There are a couple of advantages in this. First they can give an independent assessment about you to the DS. Second, some of the delivery services leave their contact information with hotel receptionists, and therefore will be interested in maintaining a productive relationship with the hotel managment. But ultimately it will depend on a girl saying she is prepared to do a gaijin.

I live in Tokyo. The thing I have going at the moment is a weekly meeting (FS) in a hotel for Y20,000 with a Korean girl I met at a Korean esute. I have never had any sign of rejection at a Korean esute, and the girls are usually friendly and responsive.
I agree with everything Lub said. It is tough sometimes, and I always take a list of about 10 DH services to make sure the hotel payment doesn't go to waste. Made the mistake of waiting for 45 min for a callback from Gals Net, and then when I called them seems they'd forgotten about me and said it would be another hour before for a girl could get to me. I was out of time, so had to check out...

Twice I managed to get girls, and once they arrived they provided good/very good service (no FS though). They had no prior knowledge that they were about to meet a foreigner, so either the guy on the phone didn't tell them or my Japanese was extra smooth. The trick is to mumble and not speak in sentences...

If any fluent guys out there want to post a full conversation we'd all be happy to take it to our J-teachers for practice...haha.

    Delivery services and hotels

Delivery services in Japan can be very unfriendly to foreigners, even with a high degree of language fluency. Wrong time to call for galsnetwork.com delivery?

Ok, so I’ve been in Osaka for a couple of years now. Thanks to all the fine people who have posted here, I’ve been able to hit all the most well known places in the area and even branched out on my own to have a go at a few other spots. Trips to Hadaka no Ousama, Doutonbori CoCos and a couple of Korean Este shops have all made life in Japan a bit more en-joyable/durable. However, though I’m not a particularly shy person, I have always despised those few moments of exposure on the street just before and after you pop in to these places. The fear that one day I might come bounding out the door from an establishment straight into the sightline of coworkers exiting restaurants or walking the strip (very possible around Hadaka and CoCos) I decided it was time to have a go at the comfort and privacy of the delivery services. Thanks to posts by Member 1762, among others, I figured it should be pretty easy. I’ve ordered home delivery on pizzas, ramen, sushi, taxis, refrigerators and even my dry cleaning. All in Japanese. All without so much as a hiccup. How hard could it be? Before I made the call(s), I had my hotel all squared away and I knew the address and approximate location if I was asked.

Hotel Ceeds http://www.netoneto-net.com/hotel/ceeds/index.htm is a pretty comfortable place to stay. You can get rooms from a couple of hours to an all night stay from 3,000 for a business hotel type room to 22,000 for the slightly plush Imperial. It’s located on the street directly across from the Osaka Tokyu Inn entrance, in front of the temple where the street girls hang out. http://www.tourism.city.osaka.jp/en/.../map_kita.html . Since I live outside of Umeda central, I’ve even used the hotel as a quick staging area on a hot afternoon. After walking around all day in the nasty summer humidity, it was worth 3,000 yen to have a clean room where you could grab a cold drink, nice shower and freshen up a bit before hitting the bar scene and girly hunt.

Anyway, back to the phones. So I gave http://www.galsnetwork.com/ a call on their Osaka number at 06-4301-8133. After a few rings, the phone was answered by a man with a short “Haiiiii”. That was it. No introduction or anything else. Just “Hai”. The conversation that followed IN JAPANESE went something like this:

    Me: This is galsnetwork, yeah?
GN Dude: What can I do for you? Actually, could you hold a second.
(Puts me on hold with the happy jingle music for three or four minutes)
GN Dude coming back from hold: Hai Hai?
Me: (again) Yeah, this is galsnetwork?
    GN: What do you need?
Me: I was wondering if Hana, Luka or Megu (all girls listed on their site, scheduled for that evening in Osaka) would be available for a visit to Hotel Ceeds in Umeda? It’s just across from the Tokyu Inn.
GN: Sorry, could you wait once more please.
(This time he just puts the phone down, not on hold, and I can here all the commotion in the back from the sounds of various guys taking calls. He picks the phone up again with…) who did you want?
    Me: Hana, Luka or Megu
GN: There is no one here by that name.
Me: Oh, well I’m reading their names here on your website. But if not, then maybe you could suggest…(But before I could get the rest of this sentence out, he broke in with…)
    GN: Where are you from?
    Me: I’m in Umeda.
GN: No, what country are you from? (CRAP! I knew what he meant the first time, but that question doesn’t usually bode well in these situations, and sure enough.)
Me: Oh, I’m from the States.
GN: Sorry, but we don’t accept foreign customers.
Me: (Desperate to save this transaction and lying through my teeth now) Oh, really? But I’ve used the service before without any problems.
GN: Again, very sorry, but we don’t take foreign customers.
    And that was that.

So, off to Hadaka no Ousama once again, but crest fallen that I couldn’t get the delivery deal to go through.

Any advice from people that have used this service or another like it? I would really like to hear from someone that has had success and not just “heard from a friend” that it’s possible to have “delivery health”. I’m not fluent in Japanese, but I can hold my own in these kinds of transactions. Again, I’ve never had problems getting delivery on other non-health related services and I’m perfectly comfortable chatting with the doormen at places like CoCo’s. I’m hoping that maybe I was the victim of a bad draw on whomever randomly answered the phone, but the guy did stop once or twice to chat with others in the room about the “no foreigner” policy and was quite adamant. I had also called on a Monday early (around 6pm) to leave room to work around the “we’re too busy to deal with foreigners tonight” excuse which you might occasionally encounter.

So, who has a solution? As I’ve said, though I enjoy the services at the popular shops, I hate going into them and risk being seen coming out. I’m also not a big fan of the perverted doctor’s waiting room that you have to endure with your fellow mongers before you get your turn. I swear, the elevator Muzack version of “The Girl from Ipanema” pops into my head every time I go through it. I like the idea of kicking up my feet on a bed, fresh out of the shower, drinking a beer and watching tv while I’m waiting for the girl I want to come visit. Only hotel health is going to get you that.

If someone is able to offer assistance and proof positive that these services are available to us gaijin to order up, I’m sure I could find it in my heart and wallet to comp you a big discount on a little hotel visitor for yourself as well.

    Any takers?

    Cheers all

More help than you'll probably ever need getting to Hadaka

    Hello Punter,

I know the anxiety of searching for the naked king, but the information that is already available in these forums can get you there easily with just a slightly larger map of the area. Have a look at this one:

    http://www.tourism.city.osaka.jp/en/.../map_kita.html

Basically the same as yours (size does matter in this case), but with more info in English to help you along. That map, plus this excellent picture from Juniour, is all you need to find the place.

    http://www.internationalsexguide.inf...chmentid=28942

Here is how I have explained the locale to a few people:

    1. LANDMARK! Check that larger map again. One of the easiest landmarks near the Hankyu line Umeda station is the giant red Ferris wheel atop the Hep Five Navio building http://www.livehep.com/about/index2.asp . If you are coming out of the station and you cannot easily locate the red Hep building with the big wheel on top, then you are probably not on the correct side of the station. Look for signs (everywhere in English) that point to Hep or Navio. Additionally, if you see the large Yodabashi camera building in front of you, you are on the wrong side of the station. Go back through and pop out the other side.

    2. Looking slightly right of centre on the map, lower-right of the Hankyu Umeda Station, you can see Hep Five on top with Hep Navio below. At the base of Hep Navio the building comes into a point (a pedestrian crossing island between two big streets) just above the words Hankyu Grand Bldg. This is where Juniour took his picture across the street towards the Namco building. The yellow arrow is pointing towards the covered shopping street known as Higashidori St. with Hep Navio out of the picture but just barely showing on the left.

    http://www.internationalsexguide.inf...chmentid=28942

    3. As Juniour said, “look for the Namco building (see photo) go straight through that walkway then cross the road at the end then continue in that direction and Hadaka no-Ousama is located on the right hand side as you walk through.” On the big map, the covered street is indicated by the dark pink line that starts beneath the words Hankyu Grand Bldg and ends just above the words Osaka Tokyu Inn, a location that is frequently mentioned by other posters as another landmark. You will not likely see Tokyu Inn if you are focused forward in the covered shopping area and if you run out of cover then you’ve gone too far, but Hadaka is almost at the end of the covered area so don’t turn back too early.

    4. Really can’t make it much clearer, but other landmarks along the way include video game arcades and the New Japan Sauna capsule hotel, distinctive for its television screens in the windows showing customers enjoying massages, saunas and dips in the pools. See this on the left and Hadaka is within 50 meters on the right.

In addition to Hadaka, the map shows lots of places that other posters have referenced for other activities. The Tokyu Inn is across the street from Taiyuji Temple, a spot that MANY folks have mentioned as the place to find various nationalities’ street walkers, including the infamous Chinese massage girls that really aren’t offering anything more than a simple (read “LAME”) massage for 5,000yen for 30 minutes. You can also find the Whity Umeda underground shopping mall, yet another popular reference point from some other helpful folks.

Sorry all if I really went for overkill in this explanation, but after years of perusing these forums and my own experience of not being able to find Hadaka one day (even with the Japanese map from their web site in hand), I thought I would try and kick in my two cents. Once you’ve been you realize how incredibly easy it is to find the place, but it is all about the landmarks that will get the out-of-towners to the correct starting point.

Best of luck getting there everyone and be sure to throw a knowing grin at any male foreigners wandering around down there. You just might have me grinning back at you after another fine afternoon at Hadaka no Ousama.

    Cheers

    Hadaka

It's directly behind one of the Tokyu.. sorry can't remember which one. Tokyu Inn or Tokyu. You can actually walk there using the underground. If you exit the Osaka station, there is a info booth just outside next to stairs going on to a pedestrian bridge. Ask the ladies there who speaks English how to get to The Tokyu.. The one that you can get there by underground. Just say you are meeting a friend there or something if they ask. Once you get the directions, just go to Tokyu...take the main street. As you are walking towards Tokyu, you will have to walk past a side street before getting to the front door of Tokyu and you will see that at the end of this side street there are tons of lights...go towards it (don't worry it is not a scary side street. Once you get to the street (or covered arcade area) turn right...and it is on the right hand side. In effect, it is directly behind the Tokyu. Hadaka is almost nearly to the end. And it is not just sex shops, there are restaurants in the area too. Good luck.. Just keep saying Hai, wakarimasu (the u is silent) when the guys is explaining the rules to you.

    Hadakano-Ousama

Thanks to all for the reports and the detailed directions.

However, it does not seem easy to reach this place.
I would like to go there next week and I do not want to miss it (only one night to make the attempt), so I found this map of the area.
Would it be possible for those who know to give me (and other members) directions using named landmarks ?

    Thanks in advance !

Who knows which Fuzoku shop welcome foreigners?

I can't speak Japanese. Did anybody know which fuzoku shop accept foreigners without knowing Japanese?

    Thank you

    Osaka useful tips

Just a couple of bit a pieces of useful tips to share with my fellow mongers or anyone planning on coming over to Osaka, I was fortunate that I stayed in the same hotel I stayed in previously at a rate of only 10,000¥, per night, the hotel is girl friendly and centrally located on top of Namba station. Compared to other hotels in the vicinity its not that much different only about 2,000¥ more expensive although when they were full they were quoting Japanese style rooms at 50,000¥ and western suites at 80,000¥. Look at their web site for any special offers available, but I personally think its in a ideal location.

    www.osaka.swissotel.com

The second bit of advice is if you are coming or going on the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Osaka is it worth jumping on the Midosuji Line to get into Namba, but I say this depending on the time of day, avoid peak times as the metro gets very busy.

The third tip is to those of you like myself who enjoy a good curry, and I mean a proper curry and not the type of stuff the most Japanese tend to like, full of sweet thick sauce, what used to be served up in my old school days. In some parts of England if the Japanese style of curry was served up at 11pm on a Friday night you are more than likely to be beaten to death, (a quite rightly so).

Located in the Doutonbori area, Mithila, 2F, 1-6-14 Dontonbori, Chuo-ko, Osaka Tel: 06-6484-0480

Finally, if you are coming to Japan and are seeking company you can do no harm by registering you details on World Friends web site, www.personals.japanvisitor.com if you write an interesting profile I can assure you that you won’t be alone for long. But its worth putting your name on as many sites as possible.

    Calm Down Boys...

I too was suspect about Junior's pictures of "streetwalkers", but if he saw them approach many guys over a period of time, then who am I to doubt him. Maybe they were working for an este, maybe a karaoke shop, maybe independents...we'll never know because Junior didn't ask (since they were not so attractive I don't blame him in the least).

I think the other locals are being too harsh with Junior, and he is over-reacting to their warnings regarding Chinese.

Let's get back to posting useful info about our experiences, not hypotheticals....

    Asian Nut,

All I can say once again is thank you, but I am totally confused here by your posts, first off I don’t have any problems here, it would seem that lays with some of the other posters.

But a couple of points here:

First, if Evan Stoner is trying warn fellow mongers off the Chinese scammer, then where was this information previously? (Is this some big secret?) Why was he claiming this was misleading information? I am happy to accept that these women could have been scammers but why are you waiting until now to claim this?

Second, yes I was in early Tokyo 2003 when I was working there on a project, also came over to Osaka but met a girl here so could not really go mongering with working and her.

Third, if you believe I am one of these Gaijin that would pay 50,000 ¥en then you are grossly mistaken, you might - I would not, I am just sharing information here. Of course I didn’t try them, the street action I observed was not worth the money IMHO.

Do you honestly believe it is the foreigners that are putting up the prices here? I have seen this argument all over the place and in most other SE Asia countries they claim it is the Japanese who are putting up the prices there.

The purpose of this forum is to share information with your fellow mongers – so then guys put this information up, share it but don’t claim, as in Cinnaman’s case, that these were ordinary girls just waiting for friends. We have gone from these not being working girls to now being scammers – so which is it? I now believe I was correct to post these photos, we should post photos of such scammer, as a warning to fellow mongers, but work with me not against me.

You are all carrying on like spoilt children here; it feels like only certain people are allowed to post information in this section, it amusing to say the least.

Asian Nut actually I go all over the place and I have been to Bangkok more times than the Philippines, and I am currently on-route to the place again, in a couple of weeks but I will go where the fuck I want dude and post what I observe. But take my advice here and note, that in life you have to make your own luck not seek it.

    Chinese Street Walkers

    Juniour
What's your problem? Evan Stoner is pointing out these girls are rip off artists, guess what, they are. The price for these "Sex Workers" can go from 5K for a massage to 50K for everything (which my guess is a HJ), you can go thru 3 or 4 different girls from the intial contact, best bet is to walk out with money intact and a hard on. ES is trying to warn his fellow mongers don't mess with the Chinese, they'll rip you off, whether it be Osaka or Yokohama. Thanks Evan for the info. By the way Juniour if you don't know what an este is, you haven't done any real mongering in Japan and it's obvious you haven't tried the girls you photographed. With your attitude, you're probably one of the folks that are screwing up the P4P for gaijins in Japan.

My advice, stick with PI, You'll have more luck there.

Also there is a 99% chance that they will try to rip you off, and a very high percentage chance of their succeeding in this if you think you are going to get something that's not on the menu.
Whooo thank you, thank you, it only goes to show that you post a couple of photos and some idiot jumps the gun and makes totally incorrect assumptions.

My first question is did you actually read my post? Well obviously the answer is no, because you have made claims and assumption to things I did not state. Second, is English your third or fourth language because its quite clear you don’t understand the language.

However, we do both agree they were Chinese and that yes they were sex workers, the fact that they might be scammers is totally beside the point here. If you had actually read my post you would have know what I thought. So dude tell me where is this misleading information you claim I have posted? If you can prove to me this is misleading information, l will give you a million dollars! But the fact is you have only confirmed what I have originally stated, (go back and read it) and contradicted yourself in the process; hopefully, now guys can be wary of such scammers in future, if indeed that is what they are.

So now tell me what is your real problem here, are you vying to be top dog in this thread? Or don’t you have the balls to post something that actually might be useful to others? I thought l had met all the clowns in other threads but it seems every thread on the forum has its resident clown or wannabe clown.

I visit many countries and this is not my first time in Osaka, check my previous posts, but you talk about sharing information and yet once again I have seen nothing from you. Might I suggest that you and Cinnaman get together and perhaps the two of you ‘might’ write a decent post. With only thirteen posts of little substance between the both of you, l will not be holding my breath here.

I will no doubt look forward to reading your posts, that is if you have any information to share, but I am not interested in reading your bitching and whining posts thanks.

    Ryan0213

We all have our preferred routes to meeting the opposite sex, however, despite visiting many bars from Ropppongi etc I find I get better results with the dating sites such as www.asoboo.com. That is my opinion but good luck and will look forward to reading your posts.

PS Evan Stoner - what the hell does 'este' mean?

Despite your "several weeks" of experience in Japan, you obviously need more. You've "literally seen many girls"?? Wow.

Misleading other readers on this forum into thinking they would be getting something they won't is a disservice, so wise up before you post again.

    Beware

Member 1762 is very reliable and he knows Osaka very well.

If you are new to this site look at his reports for information. If you are just starting out in Osaka try the two shops near Wendy's in Namba. They are marginal and they will try to get you to give a large tip,but they are much safer than propostioning girls on the street.

  15. #145

    Thanks

Thanks so much for your information.

Personally, I would try Namba on the street as I was quite successful in Shanghai toward J-girls.

    One more question is:

I've heard that Dave & Sams', Bar isn't it? is a quite famous pick-up bars. Where is it located and how can I access? How's the average percentage to pick-up girls in normal situation?
