I agree with AussieGaigin. Many business hotels with small lobby are not easy to take girl in. I am sending you PM with the name of hotel in Shinjuku where I stayed and had no problem in bringing her up. From my past experiences, these smaller "business" hotels are not visitor friendly, many have limited or zero visitor allowance. They usually have small foyers, so it is hard to get in unnoticed.
