You didn't mention your Japanese level. If it's zero, I don't think you will be able to get into an oppai pub. Soaplands have a reputation for not being foreigner-friendly, but if you speak Japanese and time your visit well, you may be pleasantly surprised. I am white and speak Japanese. Hey all, I've got a new one for you!

I live out on the west side of Tokyo, so when I heard there are soaplands in Hachioji, I was intrigued enough to give it a try.

Sorry to hear about your experience at Genkai. Sooner or later, we all have bad experiences mongering, even if we do our homework. Genkai provides good VFM and great service, although Sato, the tencho, has never really warmed up to me.
