i've just had the bait-switch pulled on me at platinum lady (http://www.p-lady.com/riri.html).

here's what happened to me.

ten minutes later, a thirty (or possible forty) something turns up and says she's lily lie 1 (btw, there's only one lily or riri listed on the site)). i said, "no you're not) and showed her lily's profile on the platinum lady site. the girl tries to say it was an old photo lie 2. when i said that i had dated lily before, she says that lily had to go back to china. i told her to forget it. and here's a strange thing, she didn't even try to sell herself as a substitute, she just walked off in such a resigned way i'm sure it has happened before. more than once.

i called the mama-san and said that wasn't lily you just sent, and mama-san started cranking up the volume and speed to an extent that i could no longer follow what she was saying. this is a typical trait of someone caught out in a lie, but who wants to keep selling it to you.

now i don't know whether lily is back in china, or whether mama-san was just trying to palm off another girl on me. but if she is back in china, why show her on the schedule?

in the interests of finding out just how trustworthy platinum lady is, in would be nice if another member of the forum with good japanese were to call platinum lady and check on lily's availability today if this report gets posted in timeor next week if it doesn't.

at any rate, i really do suggest taking the "street meet" approach with platinum lady. if i had already checked into a love hotel, i might have been forced into taking a provider i didn't fancy, and giving money to bait-switch tricksters.

I have used Ageha because.

1) My Japanese is enough but they do offer an English speaking operator who is a very nice guy.

2) Can reserve a girl for up to a week in advance.

3) Guaranteed FS every time with no extra tip.

4) I have had outstanding service every time even if sometimes disappointed in the actual appearance of the lady.

5) Easy access from Sugamo station to love hotels.

6) Generally pretty good selection.

If you get comfortable with a place and the way you are treated it can be an extremely satisfying situation. I completely agree with you. Also in Tokyo, location is very important. I am reluctant to spend 2 hours on trains to go to a place where I don't know how I will be treated.

I have been going to Grimpeur for 5-6 years, in fact I am a VIP member as I have been there more than 50 times. The VIP status except a yen 1000 discount does not help much if you, like me, can speak but cannot read and write japanese and cannot use the advantages granted on their web site. FS is not on the menu but my experience is is that if you repeat with a girl it is 80% included without additional cost. The ladies are young, many very beautiful and some very friendly. A couple of them I took with me on business trips in Kobe and Kyoto (cost: yen / day 20000 plus expenses). Not all ladies are available for gaijin, last week I saw a stunning one (Nanani) in the tencho office but I was told she does not accept gaijin. My personal tastes have been strongly influenced by having had a soapland establishment with a super nice tencho and a super freaky provider minutes from where I lived. It was a heavenly 8-year run until purchased by another owner who sacked everyone and barred my white-trash-failure to have a Japanese mommy & daddy. Honestly I don't know how to put it in words, except that the Ageha staff & seasoned workers best replicates those 8 years of that run-down joint that treated me like a fucking king. Like Dorothy in Oz, stumbling across the good witch I've found something oddly familiar enough to happily fork my yen over to the "nice" yakuza family.
