Japan is not a sex destination like Thailand or Phills. In most countries, pricing is usually based on what the LOCAL market can bear. You need only moderate Japanese conversation skills to get in the door, and when you show the handlers you can have basic conversation with a girl that might open more possibilities. Using the wrong level at an inappropriate time can lead to confusion and / or embarrassment for the other party.
