I have been to Tokyo a couple times. I have had no luck in mongering. I never have time to figure out the subway or know where to go. All the areas here (yoshiwara etc.) I have no idea how far they are from me. What's the best choice for something relatively close and not a scam? Is there soapy's nearby?

I paid last time in Tokyo for a lousy massage and wank in some back room behind a curtain. There has to be a better way.

Are there reasonably priced call ins to the hotel?

It is very easy to get to Yoshiwara, you have to get off in Minowa station, it is 20-25 minutes walk from the station. Some soaplands provide free collect and drop off service. That means they will just give you a ride from / to the station. You have to call them but better to ask a staff from your hotel or someone speaking Japanese to call for you. Because most people working in soaplands don't speak English. I haven't been to soaplands for a while.

In theory yes, but in practice at the soapland you pay for the massage experience not for sex, for this at soapland FS it is provide. Like Tobita Shinchi in Osaka, all brothels in the area are listed as a restaurant and will offer you tea and cookie, so you pay for drinks / food not for sex. LOL.

Sometimes, touts in the street show you the catalog price, and if you look uninterested, they ask you how much you are interested in paying.

If like me you use Kanda station (or going through), You can not miss the sign for a Thai massage place on the third floor of a building next to the station. Someone posted a review a while back (tried to find it but couldn't). I went there yesterday and was given Maya. It was a great experience. Maya was funny and playful. The place is very clean, and relaxing. I chose the 80 minutes course for 9500 yen. The girl takes you to a shower room, you take a quick shower by yourself. Then back to the room for a 30 to 40 minutes back (from feet to neck) massage and some small talk. The massage was as I like. Then she asked me to face up. I was expecting another round of feet to neck massage but she spend the right amount of time where it matters. Finally, she gave me a nice head (the top one this time) massage and offered me a drink.

I'm not sure if this was because the whole 'Gaijin' thing, but I knew better than to inquire further so said thank you and left.

My second preference was Satin Doll, where there were a few lookers on their website that were scheduled on the day.

The gentleman quite enthusiastically invited me in and quoted me 77 k (slightly more than what I had researched online, but again I knew better than to push my luck).

He showed me 3 photos, all photoshopped so I just picked any knowing that photoshop = potluck at times.

Yoshowara is the only place in Tokyo where you can fuck girls without being scammed, there are many soaplands that accept foreigners. There are more soaplands that are gaijing friendly than few years ago, although the mongering scenes are not good in Tokyo. You can still enjoy many regular clubs and pubs.

Just now returned from year end vacation in Tokyo and was surprised at the ease with which I got one of the Ukrainian girls.

Awesome report! When I go to sugamo I usually just go to Jan Jan since I know it's a fail safe spot. I have been to the Academy on the same side of the street just before you get to Jan Jan and they provide CBJ which was not that bad.

Most readers of this forum know about Jan Jan, the 3,000 yen / foreigner-friendly BBBJ establishment just outside Sugamo Station. Advantages: Opens at 9:00 am For the early birds; no Japanese required for those for whom this is an issue.

Recommendation: Stay clear of this place. The women have a uniformly lousy attitude and none of them can / wants to manage a decent BJ. They don't want to be there.

2.) Name: Golden King.

Location: On the left hand side of the street about halfway to Jan Jan. Walk up a flight to the 2nd floor.

Advantages: I only went once but the girl was a very attractive 20-something Japanese chick with a great body, outstanding BJ skills and friendly, positive attitude.

Recommendation: A solid choice. I will definitely revisit. Might be a challenge for non-Japanese speakers but well worth a shot.
