I have just finished spending a few years in Kyushu, and would like to offer some advice. First and foremost, don't expect any good experiences outside of Fukuoka. After that, you will be guided to a suitable establishment, which I used to think were bottom-rung, but now think are just popular and well staffed. Every time upon meeting, I think that the girl is not the greatest, or in a bad mood, but quickly they change, and have all ended up great. I can't say enough about Japanese girls in general, but they are truly in a class of their own. Keep in mind that the places all close at midnight (I usually have to rush to be there by 11).

I was in Japan back in October / November, just getting around to reporting my activities now. Found a service called Orukisu that works Sasebo. Foreigner friendly. Just call and girl will come to your hotel for typical Delivery Health options.
