Bishkek is famous for it's night clubs. If you like very loud dance clubs, this is a good place. I heard from hotel staff many people from neighbor countries and Russians tourists come here for clubbing. Hotel front desk wrote a list of some famous clubs and I asked taxi to take me to the one that have pretty girls.

I checked out 2 clubs during my stay. One is called Promzona and other called Mansion club. Both places had quite a few working girls as well as normal girls out having fun. The working ones usually go in a group of 2 to 4 and you will get some smile if you walk by. Both clubs have both Kyrgyz and Russian girls, really saw a lot of nice lookers. But I had to give up many times because could not communicate at all and the music were deafening. But be careful when talk to girls, always check if they are with men or not. Saw quite a few really mean and intimidating looking Russian and Kyrgyz men. So it is safer to wait for girls to give you a signal. The English level of these working girls was bare basic to non existent, so it would be a challenge for people that cannot speak any Russian or Kyrgyz. There were also beautiful dancers hired by the clubs on various stages, but I don't think they can be picked up.

I stuck out in Promzona but I managed to get a very slim and young Russian girl 21 years old in Mansion. Very basic English, but very friendly personality and lots of smiles that really makes up for the lack of communication. I find that Russian girls as well as Kyrgyz girls in this country are very gentle and polite with nice feminine traits no less than girls in Latin America. I came to Bishkek as a side trip from Almaty. Virtually came without any knowledge of night activity. I don't speak a word of Kyrgyz or any Russian, and the majority of people do not speak any English. So the finger in the hole gesture became a big savior. Tour guide was doing the negotiations directly as Mamasha could not speak any English. Next time I will follow your advise and book an apartment. On the last day of my stay we found a taxi driver who could speak few words of English and he was ready to take us to an apartment where few girls were available. As we were about to leave I could not take advantage of that.

Was in Bishkek from 19th to 24th Sept 17. In between went to the lake Ishi-kol for a day. The tourist season was over and the whole lake area was deserted.

On the first night went a place called "Gentleman's Club" which I understand is the best strip club in Bishkek. There were 11 girls, most of them were very good looking and they dance.

Only top less. There were no other patrons except for our group. Be careful when ordering drinks for the girls. I got cheated. You can take the girls to private room where they dance nude and touching is allowed depending on how much you pay.

So here is the report about my last two days in Kyrgyzstan. Move on to Tajikistan.

My tactic to spoil yesterdays "big girl" worked out really good. I sent her to do some shopping for 50 USD while I did rest. The hotel was good and expensive by local standards (40 USD). There was no SPA (they told me that they will build on) and also no "massage girl", but I could bring a "guest" I like. But around that hotel they built a lot of fancy restaurants, KTV, Cinema. Those where all pretty empty. I took a taxi to find a cheap restaurant.

The taxi driver was the jackpot. 31 year old guy with a typical Kyrgyz bio. Studied law. After graduation moved to IT and works as an administrator of a government institution during the day. For that he gets 150 USD At night he is driving taxi. And he designs business cards. In total he makes 600 USD. With that money he is able to have a family and to maintain to cars.

I invited in for dinner because I knew that he is my source. He explained about the sex work situation in Osh.

A) There are the mamashas. They walk the streets and have between 1 and 10 girls. The girls go with the customer. One whole night is 4000 SOM. 60 USD I guess. After 11 pm only the ugly ones are left.

B) Saunas. There are three types.

A. 500 SOM per hour. A room with many beds separated by just curtains. If you are lucky they have a shower. Girls just lays there.

B. 1000 SOM per hour. Own room, own shower.

C. 1500 SOM. Big room with attached sauna and bathroom. But room is 700 SOM extra.

For option a and be he said that "you work", for "see" "Girl works". So I asked him to show me option "see". It was a small complex. I had to wait 5 minutes for the girl. The Sauna didn't have a name. Since it is a brothel they don't advertise. But the taxidrivers know.

What you can do. When you use google maps look for Sauna in Sokuluk. You will get two hits. One in the stadium and one in the next village called shopokov. So I walked to the one in the stadium but it seemed empty and looked small (may be they do it in the locker room? I told a taxidriver to go to the other one. He went there and knocked the door but they were not working. He then took me back to sokoluk and said that there are actually two of them.

Why did I take the sauna first? I had to know if the chemistry was right. She was good but if she would be a fish I had wasted a lot more money (3000 for buy out, hotel and then sending her back).

3) Tell this guy about your interest and ask him if for a reliable taxi driver or directly if he knows a good "mamashi". Mamashi is the word for mama-san. It will be the women with the long list of available girls in her phone. Ideal would be an English speaking taxi driver. But they exist only in tourist spots.

If I would be without Russian in Kirgizia I would do it like this. And I would tell the tour guide that this could turn into a long term relation. Meaning that you come back or send friends, whatever. So he has an interest not to rip you off.

So here is a current update on Kyrygzia. This is my third day. Needless to say that for the best mongering experience basic common of Russian is a real benefit.

For those of you who did a thoroughful research I can confirm that getting sex here for 10 USD / hour is possible. I then tried one of the numerous high-class saunas. When you search for the in google maps you will notice that the bad ratings mention the sexual service problem. However in this Sauna I took a massage for 1 hour which, cost 13 USD but the women was professional therapist.

On the second day I want to Sokuluk. A small town 20 KM outside Bishkek. Other forum mentioned it as a place with many saunas and another source said that this is the place for cheapest sex. However things have changed. I asked a Taxidriver. He mentioned that a lot of them had been closed. But he knew two and took me to one of them. To saunas is still a good number for a little place like this. I arrive at 3 pm and was the only customer. The mama-san (middle aged women) straight told me: we have three girls. So it is indeed a feeling like in a brothel with the exception that the place had sauna facilities with huge rooms and indoor swimming pool. I think that for the lonely traveler it is a good idea to visit these places early afternoon. The local business parties visit these places in the evening.
