I was in LP a week past for some good times and SYTs. Here is quick summary of my time.

I just finished another shorter trip to Laos. Another adventurist member from other forum invited me to northern Lao. I went along out of pure boredom. We took something called Lao Skyway to Luang Namtha. The new somewhat budget air of Laos using the not too safe China made MA 60. You can get one way from 350 K Vientiane to Luang Namtha. Our flights did not crash. Actually the stewardesses were quite cute. 3 nights there then chartered a taxi to Muang Singh on the China border. About VV, I don't have the newest information, but Lao situation has been very consistent for over 15 years, nothing change much in Vientiane or else where for as long as I remember, only thing that changes is inflation.
