I met a new girl at Lisboa

I hate to be the bringer of bad news. But if a girl travels all the way to macao to work. She probably worked somewhere else previously. Traveling to macao is not that simple since a visa is required. Also the payrate these days are comparable to high end saunas in China. If not lower! Houjie town saunas at 5 star hotels for instance has girls tip outs higher then 1300 rmb which equates to 1500 hkd! I've been bad. But only with highend KTV girls and one time with a "high end" sauna girl in Macao but only after having a prolonged relationship with her. I think the shifts at saunas are not so predictable at fixed hours.

Quick follow up to the inquiry I made a while ago about which hotel to stay in. I ended up at the Royal based on recommendations... it was very nice, comfortable, good service for US70 (all in) for a premium floor during the week, but was going to shoot up another 50 for Friday night, so I decided to shop around... ended up taking the other good suggestion here - Metropark for one weekend night at 75.

Clearly each has advantages - Royal is a superior hotel in a more interesting neighborhood if more than casinos and mongering is what interests you; actually not a far walk to the casinos and saunas anyway - about 20 minutes - and convenient for walking the city's tourist sights. Also, internet wifi in room is free at Royal.

Metropark is at least one less star, and a bit more run down; but it was fine, and a stone's throw from the action. Literally across the street from Sanado, a block from Golden, Beverly, Supreme, and on and on. Internet is free in the lobby, but you need to pay dearly for the wifi in room (120MOP for 24 hours). I arrived in mid afternoon (about an hour beforee the official checkin time) - they didn;t have a nonsmoking room ready for me, so they bumped me up to a suite on the 21st floor (the guy also explained that wifi worked better on the higher floors). Nice. Also, the CTS shuttle bus to Zuhai stops at the metropark (they have a desk for ticketing in the lobby) - which was perfect, as I went by bus to Guangzhou from there.

Had a fine time at both hotels, and appreciated the suggestions here. One correction I would make is that the bed I had at MetroPark (which others have commented on as being especially hard) was no different than every other hard bed I have met in Asia. I am now sitting on one equally hard or harder in Guangzhou. It just seems to be an Asian hotel thing, though even in US I find the hotel beds tend to be too hard most of the time - probably they last longer if they start out firmer is my guess. If the pillows are reasonably soft, that makes up for it - when you get one of those puffy pillows that forces your neck lie at the wrong angle and you wake up with a stiffy of the wrong kind, that's what I hate! Thankfully, both Royal and MetroPark hjad decent pillows.

I'd recommend both of them, depending on interests.

Amen to that brother. I spent 5 nights here on my last trip in March (my 1st visit) and it left me wanting more. There were a couple of Saunas I never had time to visit. But that is a good thing. I plan to return in 2011 on my next big Asian trip. This time I plan to fly into HKG and only spend a night. Then I will hop down to Macau for 4 days to get my dick wet before heading off to the Philippines for a month. You can fly from Macau direct to AC! When my month is up in PI, I will then return to Macau for a 2nd helping and 4 more days of bliss before I head on home.

One thing, since we are talking about MP3 and Lions Bar; I think I will spend most of my time in the saunas with the Chinese girls (and hopefully some Mongolian and Korean girls) on this upcoming trip because I will be in the mother lode of Filipina womanhood when I get to AC, Manila and Cebu. No need to spend 800hk on a Filipina in Macau when I can get the same thing or better in PI for a fraction of the price, but you never know.

I really dig Macau. It is one of my favorite watering holes in Asia along with BKK of course. I can hardly wait.

You should definitely try to fit MP3 and Lions Bar into your schedule, but don't sacrifice a trip to Rio Sauna. Rio was the highlight of my trip to Macau. I recommend that you go to Rio between 5pm and 6pm on the night you plan to go to MP3. Then you can spend a few hours there being pampered and fucked. You will have plenty of time to check out MP3 and Lions Bar later in the evening, say after 11pm. Keep in mind the Saunas feature Chinese women mostly. MP3 and Lions have Filipinas on the menu.

MP3 is a small bar on the waterfront where a lot of Filipina hostess girls hang out. It's kind of like Sticky Fingers in HKG only better IMHO. When I went there, the girls were all over me. The hardest part of picking up a girl here is choosing which one you want. Lions bar in the MGM Grand is more upscale, kind of like Hari's in HKG only much larger.

If you don't like to "work to pick up a hooker" then you will not want to waste your time at the Lisboa race track. Great eye candy, but the girls are definitely not into western men. You have to convince the really pretty ones to take you upstairs.

I had an out-call relationship with a 18 Sauna girl for about half a year, and she said that they get tested every so often for the usual culprits. Same with Rio. Apparently these places have a lot of high profile guests and they can't risk infecting some governor with God knows what. Don't know about the other saunas though.

It can be too late to regret or to ask.
Testing is of little help: it is only worth on long lasting relationships where the partners will not go other partners after they get together
What does it mean if after the test they get something?
Not necessarily you will acquire, but you exposed yoruself to a risk, maybe unconscioulsy, but you did.
