It might be a coincidence that your credit card has been attempted to be used at the time you hadn it over at the Waldo Hotel.
Obviousy anything is possible, but I doubt such an establishment has employees daring such a trick.
Do yoiu know from where the attempt to use your card for Emirates happened?

Posts: 208Heads up on credit card fraud
This is off-topic, but bros might want to know about my experience last week. Macau is packed to the gills with mainland tour groups now, the whole place getting ready for the Grand Prix. I couldn't get into my favorite hotels, no beds, so had to settle for the very overpriced Waldo (1450 HKD, and no, no chance this trip to sample East Spa.). I paid at the ferry terminal in HK, they got an authorization for around 500- HKD on my card when I checked in. When I checked out, there was nothing to pay, but I now see I didn't get back the charge slip (I saw them 'tear it in half. ')
This morning (2 days later) my bank called me, and asked if I had tried to make a 1, 600 USD payment to Emirates Airlines this morning. Nope. Credit card fraud. So the upshot is, they have cancelled my card, it will take a week to get a new one, and I have to change all the things which are automatically billed to this card number. A big hassle.
Now I cannot _prove_ that is was the Waldo Hotel that was the source of the leak of my card, but I have my suspicions, especially at this time of year. Be warned. Anyone else have a problem like this?
Mega annoyed.

Posts: 698909 girls- what's the deal
I've been to Macau twice and am quite familiar with and a fan of the sauna scene- preferring Sanado and Golden sauna to the bigger, more luxurious and expensive saunas. I always seem to find adorably cute and affectionate girls at Golden and Sanado and I prefer their "game" selection process rather than the high pressure meat market lineups at Rio and 18.
I've been curious about the 909 girl option. I've got some links, one to a list supposedly of girls at the Metropark hotel, then when I click on database a larger list of girls with pics opens. My understanding is that each hotel has a number of girls who reside in hotel rooms and by calling them you can get a short time session for 500-700 MOP in their room. All nighter costs 1400 or so. Do they come to your room? Do all hotels have a contingent of 909 girls in house? Will girls come to your hotel from another? I speak no Chinese- I have heard someone at reception will help with these bookings. Please, any info how to use this service will be much appreciated. The girls look gorgeous.
I'll give back with a full acounting of my four day five night trip in early December.
Beffen- usually found at FKK's in Germany but no stranger to macau

Mind you sometime taking a taxi requires long waiting time in front of major casinos, so it is not much about the taxibtide but the whole transfer time.
Being on the right side allows you to eventually take a walk as all places are reasonably close by

The strip club in the bottom of hotel guia is called playmates. I don't know the current status but I was last there over 2 years ago. Not a huge lineup, maybe 10 strippers, and another 10-20 girls that will sit and drink with you. 2 for 1 drink deals before 10:00pm. At that time some of the girls will agree to ST for 1200 (includes the fee for room).

Had anyone experienced any services from the night-club below the Guia hotel? Incidentally while reading reviews about the hotel itself I discovered that many clients mentioned this whorist / strip club below this hotel.

Simple solution. Stop in St Petersburg on your way to Macau and do the taste test. Moscow is a little pricey.
IMHO Better to do the Russians in RU where they are a dime a dozen. Once leaving the motherland the RU devs start to think they are something special.
Personally I prefer the Russian women, however either the Asian or Macau pretties are a fine 2nd choice. I have enjoyed every minute in Macau and look forward to being there in a few weeks after spending 2 weeks in Russia.

Last time in Mai I spent 4000 € in Hong kong, macao and shanghai but I had 26 girls in 19 days, some of them multiple times. If I would have skiped the expensive saunaus it would have been less.
And yes, there are japanese girls.

Hardrock is in the "wrong side" of Macau.
For a high class hotel try Rio, with it's in-house sauna at 5th floor.
Other saunas are a walking distance or few bucks of taxi.
