Posts: 178What can I say I had asked a tour agency office on Hong Kong Island about whether they sold packages to sauna e massagem familia nobre and got sold a package to Millionaries. I don't think I'll go back to that place.

Posts: 103I like Millionaireīs because you get a wide selection of nationalities, viet, Chinese, Russian, some Korean and Japanese, also. The cool thing is instead of having to enter the sauna and do the whole sauna thing, which you do if you enter on the 2nd floor, you just go to the third floor and unless itīs really busy, you can look at the whole lineup before you decide if you want to partake.

In general, I thoroughly enjoy Macau because most of the saunas have standard pricing and are pretty honest. The Millionaires sauna at Beverly, however, recently tried to scam me and added numerous charges.
Sauna e Massagem Familia Nobre and most of the others sound more honest and trustworthy. IMHO.

Sorry, I think you may be mistaken. I was in Sauna e Massagem Familia Nobre yesterday. It is located in the China Trust building in the Dynasty business district (Won Chu in pinyin). It is on the big street with the park in the middle which leads to the golden madonna statue.

Posts: 3281When you go to Macau make sure you go on weekdays, that means sunday through thursday.
Less people, better selection of girls, unrushed service at massage parlors, cheaper hotel rates, shorter lines at immigration to name a few advantages.

Its actually located on the second floor of the Beverly Plaza Hotel. The Beverly Sauna is on the third floor. In fact I think they use the same girls as I saw them go back up a staircase after being brought over for selection by a customer.

No sauna but they do have a small casino. As with most outlying hotels, they provide free shuttle service to the ferry terrminal including some of the major casinos and vice versa. Hotel Taipa's shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Hotel Sun Sun is a much older hotel and is better located but their rates are higher. I cannot comment on the other two hotels.
I know of a few travel agents in Macau who speak passable english and have a line on accommodations. PM me for their contact info.
Have a great trip!

The name of the sauna is Sauna e Massagem Familia Nobre, a short walk from Wynn Casino. If you decide to stay overnight, the room is free. Of course, you have to purchase one of the packages that I mentioned.

President is right next to Lisboa, 30 seconds walk from HI and the walking street behind it. Also very near Wynn which has a new bar.
How to book is up to you, but remember that sometimes hotels are fully booked or you may be asked to pay a much higher rate because the cheaper rooms have all been taken.
Macau is always busy.
In May you can expect temperatures up to 30 degrees, humidity of 99% and lots of rain.

Hi all
I'll be in Macau soon and I was wondering if you have an opinion on either the Grandview Hotel, Hotel Presidente, Hotel Sun Sun or the Hotel Taipa in terms of location, accommodation and sauna?
I was thinking of booking through the last minute net sites but would I be better off doing this at the ferry terminal?
Lastly, I also have an oppurtunity to visit Macau again at the end of May 2007. Is that a busy time of year in Macau and what is the weather like around that time?
Thanks

I plan to go 18 Sauna next time in Macau.
As to the Changping KTVs I went because my client took me. Did Jia Yi, with the flower street of 600 girls, and Hui Hua. The girls are pleasant but they are not as tall or built as the girls in Macau or the 141 girls in Hong Kong.

The Tin Wong was OK, I mean the one Korean there was stunning as were many of the Thai and Viet chicks. In the future though I think there is better value in going to a bigger sauna. Last year I visited the one in the Beverly Hotel, and it wa nice, with the various pools and all, the food, the chairs, and all for only a couple hundered MOP's more.

NIce report Samarai...Would you happen to know the name of the sauna and how much for the room if you decide to stay there?
You are correct. During holidays or the Grand Prix, it may be a little difficult if not impossible to get a hotel room that same day. However, I still think you may be able to get a room at the sauna, especially if you plan to have multiple sessions. There are quite a lot of rooms in the back. I was quite amazed at the size of this sauna. The sauna was at least one floor of the building. One of the massage girls told me that the other massage girls were all upstairs. I do not know if we were allowed upstairs or if that area is just for them. I just know in the general area, that they come down for lineups and if they are not chosen, they go back upstairs.
Even if there were no rooms available, I would gladly sleep on the individual sofa seats. There are so many of those as well and they are quite comfortable, especially with the blanket/towel that they provide when you are sitting. It was fun eating, drinking, watching tv, surfing online and watching other people choose from their lineups. Also, after I paid the final bill, I told them next time I will not get a hotel room and just stay there and they said no problem.
Let me try to explain the standard multiple session package as I know it. You can always upgrade, so there is no need to buy the more expensive package at the Ferry Terminal. The 868hkd package is good enough. 868hkd entitles you to a round trip ride on the Turbojet, one 20-minute high thigh massage, food/drinks, internet access, 1 session with a girl of their choosing, and total access to the sauna, including steam room, and hot/cold jacuzzi tubs. If you would like to select a girl from a line-up, then it would cost an additional 500hkd. The total price would be 1368hkd. After the first session, you can continue to use the sauna, eat, etc. If you decide to have a second session, you can have them select another girl for you for 298hkd + tax, total about 343hkd or if you decide to choose a girl from a lineup, then it would cost 298hkd + tax + 500hkd. The total cost would be 843hkd. For both of my sessions, I had them choose for me and the service was very good. I probably would not have chosen the second one in a line-up, but the second session only cost me 343hkd. I could have stayed overnight and had another few sessions the next day at 343hkd per session. There was quite a few stunners in the lineup and probably would have been worth the 500hkd extra. My friend, who told me about the place last year, had 5 girls in a 24 hour period of time. He was so eager, like a kid in a candy store that the manager told him to take his time and slow down a bit.
Forget Lisboa and any other freelancer that charges 800hkd or more, I would prefer to have a no rushed session in a nice atmosphere, where I know I will get great service. If not, you can always complain to the manager.
Note, the sauna is about a 15 minute walk from the Golden Dragon Hotel/Sands area and less than 5 minutes by taxi. But, some taxis may not want to take you because of the short distance. I believe the cost was 12hkd.

Hi Waikikibob,
I wholeheartedly agree. I'm a Macau convert now. This was my first time to Macau. I've mongered in China before but always left Macau out of my itinerary b/c an idiot friend of mine told me that it's a waste of time. I just gave him an earful when we had dinner tonight.
I was at Tao Yuan KTV twice and out of around 300 girls I only saw 2 maximum that I wanted to do, but I didn't go gaga over them. At Lisboa I counted at least 5 that I would happily hand 800hkd to, regardless of service. I didn't take any since my friend and I just came from Darling 1 and were just dead tired.
I guess it really depends on what is important. If GFE is what one is looking for, I'd say China. If easy to find beautiful, regardless of service, then Macau.
I think for my next trip I'll do some real site seeing in China - Great Wall, Imperial Palace - and just monger in Macau.
For Darling 1, do they charge you for the drinks you order if you don't see anything you like and leave? At Darling 1 I had a coke before the selection and a milk tea afterwards. I asked a manager how much for the drinks and he said it was on him.
thanks,
