As far as I know there are several budget hotel or rumah tumpangan area Puteri Pacific but I would not recommend you to stay there most of rumah tumpangan have 'ayam'. The nearest 3/2 star hotel is Hotel Rasa Sayang. Or dorsett hotel if I not mistaken.

Since I will be going with a group of people (both male & female) whom I have had casual working relationship, I do not wish to stay at the conference hotel where I might "risk" them seeing me doing my "extra curriculum" activities. I'm a sucker for TY MP but somehow I fail to find them around Jusco Taman U, so I drove around but in the end found out an NL MP instead (near a gym, famous f&b cafe) accross Jusco if I'm not mistaken at Jalan Kebudayaan.
