I will be visiting Johor Bahru in the mid of May 2022. I was just wondering how is the present situation in Johor bahru For the adventure seekers?

I did some reading and research on Johor Bahru to explore for my upcoming trip. Here is a brief summary of what I found if you are planning to go there.

Spa is located in the Berjaya waterfront hotel which is located within the ferry terminal for some Batam to JB routes. This is not a good location for the spa. When I left, I ordered a Grab to pick me up at the main entrance. Big mistake. I got questioned by Malaysian customs as I was leaving to see if I am declaring anything. Even though I did not leave the country. It seems many Indons arriving at the ferry terminal walk thru the hotel lobby area to meet their Grab, and the customs police question cars leaving the hotel.

The spa itself, located on level 7 in the hotel, is huge. It occupies the whole floor of the hotel. When you enter the spa, there is a reception desk and a sitting area. A couple of receptionist will set you up with the package you want. I picked a package for RM $260 with one shot with the girl of my choice. If you want another girl after the first one, it will be RM $180 for one shot. You are brought to the men's change room and shower with lockers. A locker key is given to you at the front desk after you pay your money. The service is very good with a locker attendant. After changing, you can have something to eat at dining area. No more buffet nowadays. There is a limited menu, you choose from it, and they bring it to you. I had the kaya toast with kopi. I have had better. There is a sauna, big hot tub. Nice facilities. After getting a bite, I went to the front to look for someone I can find out about getting laid. The front desk pointed me to this big Indian / Eurasian guy lounging around in the sofa. He brought me in to the movie theatre and ask me to wait there while he roused the line up. There were about 9-10 girls that came out. It was like a police line. LOL. They all stand against the wall and he gives you a quick run down on where the girls were from. Mostly Laotian and Cambodian girls with a couple of Thais and a single Viet. I've heard great things about Johor Bahur that people travel from Singapore to here on the weekends to party. Where do you find Freelancers in the city? Is there anything similar to Kuala Lumpur's famous nightlife spot like Bukit Bintang area in Johor Bahru? Where are the popular places? Jalan Wong Ah Fook, Stulang Laut??
